THE HUMAN APPLICATION Name: Haruna Luna Apparent Age: 15 True Age: 17 Sex: Female Personality: Haruna Luna is a modest individual known by a small handful of people for the things she holds dear to her heart. She is quiet, humble, and respectful, though rarely shows it as she is normally too focused on being in the background. She is quite lucky when it comes to things working in her favor, but due to her soft persona will rarely acknowledge if at all that she's fortunate in any fashion. She's quite shy, a quality which is not helped by her power's manifestation, in that her ears, while adorable are also attention grabbers. In being very shy, she's learned how to avoid both confrontation and to move without being seen, as well as being able to deal with others long enough to escape social interaction. To the few people she doesn't try to run from, she's sweet and caring, and will go quite a long way for those people. Generally she is adverse to fighting, but when she must, she will attempt to work as efficiently as able, aiming to get in and get out so she can be comfortable and alone again. CHARACTER APPEARANCE Height: 5'4" Weight: 110 lbs Physical Traits:  FIGHTING STYLE General Fighting Style: Haruna relies mostly on quick strikes to throw her opponent off-guard, then to either follow up or disappear, then deliberating to determine the best course of action. being mildly passive, her fights generally don't take long before she'll want to run off. Things generally go well for her by way of luck, so aside from being athletically capable, combat is pretty fluid for her. Strengths: Agility (both Speed and Reflexes), Stamina, Hakuda Weaknesses: Reiatsu, Reiryoku, Zanjutsu, Durability PRIMARY STAGE Ability Name: Rabbit's Luck Description: With her Rabbit ears, she has quite an amount of luck, in which during any event, if it is possible for her to tip the events in her favor, they do so without her having to ask. This does NOT affect any action made by another character, is mostly story focused, and various elements in thread like "It started to rain, obscuring her presence further" or "At that precise moment, the door slammed shut, its weight not requiring human hands." or even "Lucky for the rabbit, she did remember to tie her hair up earlier". This isn't going to be used, nor should it be used to manipulate the environment to fuck someone up, or otherwise bork combat in a broken manner. Ability Name: Rabbit's Bounce Description: Haruna can bound around, storing energy in her feet, using it to propel herself, increase kicking strength, as well as generally running faster. The energy stored is tripled when reused and generates an additional x3 to speed and reflexes in Primary. This also allows her to absorb impact force, like that of landing, jumping, bounding, and falling. This does NOT include damage she incurs from combat. Ability Name: Moon Bunny's Dance Description: She can kick an object, marking it and pulling it to her at Bala speeds, so long as it's something she could feasibly lift herself (no more than 100 lbs). She can also repulse objects the same way. If an object weighs more than her, she can use it as an anchor point and pull herself to it or away from it. Does not affect living things. That'd be silly. Ability Name: In the Shadow of the Moon Description: Haruna has the ability to become invisible, where the potency increases if there is a shadow nearby. In darkness, the weak reiatsu signal she emits is also blanketed out. This is limited to passive and escape option only. If she resumes combat, her reiatsu flares and is detectable for the remainder of the thread at twice the potency (x2 to range detected.) SECONDARY STAGE Ability Name: Tides are Changing Description: Haruna can phase in and out of objects at will, including walls and solid objects, but can also increase the density of her body, resisting the impact of objects, particularly those that don't get absorbed by her earlier abilites. Phasing through walls aside from story purposes is once per two posts, phasing to a solid density will be once every three posts. This does not make her immortal. If she'd get blasted to bits, density will not save her. Ability Name: Moonflash Description: When provoked, Haruna's powers allow her to unleash a bright flash that will both impact physical vision and spiritual vision. While it doesn't last more than a post, it's enough to severely throw anyone off her trail, so long as they're not strong enough to outclass her. Generally this is her last resort to escape. Cooldown: 3 posts. I mean, if she has to use this more than once per thread, then it's her own stupid fault for not getting away. Ability Name: Double Rabbit Description: Usually, if she's being chased hard, she'll use her ability to duplicate herself (similar to Gemelos). The clone itself is lifelike, matches her spiritual signature, and can be made to gesture ONLY once before it vanishes into darkness. It can't attack. Ever. Cooldown: 5 posts. BACK-DROP History: Born to a family where the father was abusive, and the mother was a quiet sufferer of her husband's aggression, Haruna Luna had no choice but to accept it, from the age of youth to her teenage years. Where her mother found emptiness, her father found reasons to hate, and in his daughter, found piles of misery. Though she might scream and run away, he would always catch her. So one evening, where she cried out for something, anything to put an end to her father's abuse, her prayers were answered. The moon shone brightly on her, and the light of it embraced her, lifting her. It grazed her head, and ears of a rabbit sprouted. In the morning, she awoke none-the-wiser. And when the abusive arm of her father came, she found not only that he could not harm her, but that she was able to defend herself. Both focused on protecting herself, she scrambled around the cupboards and counters, looking for anything she could reach for. Her hands would not grip any knives or glasses, but in her panic, she found the secret of her power. Every glass, knife, and blunt object she had touched, now flew to her father, shattering and battering him, killing him a little more with each impact. Realizing what she had done, as the drunken fool clattered to the floor, lifeless... She faded into the shadows, out through the wall, and left, never to see the place again. Though she may try to continue her schooling, her ears drew attention, many teased her, and again she fled. Now she roams the streets of New York City, living and surviving however she can manage, not that she ever found it difficult. Side Notes: Aiming for a lower tier, 1-3 or lower |
