Razvan Vaclaviczek
The Sinner Application
Name: Razvan Nathanael Vaclaviczek
Alias: The Heretic, The Sin of Pride
Apparent Age: 18
True Age: 1440
Gender: Male
Personality: There is much wrong with the world--war, famine, pestilence, death. Razvan considers the cruelty of the world to be tragic, and he finds the cosmic order that governs the world to be despicable. That people would suffer under what they believe to be immutable is unacceptable, and Razvan seeks to change that. Thankfully, he has the great old ones to turn to, those who existed before time, before the soul king.
Razvan has an unmatched ego, and unfortunately, he has the fire in his soul to back it up. He has made it his errand to disrupt the foundation of souls and to place himself on top, as he considers himself the only suitable replacement for the corrupt god. His ultimate aspiration is to bring to the world what it's missing and to create a perfect utopia via a new cosmic order.
He is arrogant and prideful, but quiet and soft-spoken. He speaks not until he's needed, but when he does, he is imperious. His skill as a leader is undeniable, and he carries with him a charisma almost as potent as his magic that seems to bind people to his will. He is attentive to individuals' concerns and is genuinely nice, for a sinner. Still, he seeks only those that would help him, and he filters through the rubble with no issues. To many, his friendship is tragically temporary.

Sinner Powers
Ability Name: Eldritch Magic
Ability Description: Razvan carries with him a grimoire that acts as a reservoir for his reishi and the reishi of all the souls he has consumed. Whenever Razvan kills someone, their soul goes into the book instead of going anywhere else. The book, which seems to have an uncountable number of pages, contains the memories of every individual he has slain, written down for him to peruse at his leisure. Additionally, he has access to all purely reishi-based abilities of those he has slain. By default via this ability, he has access to the following:
- All Kido rank 50 or lower
- Bakudo 61: Rikujoukourou
- Hado 57: Daichi Tenyou
Ability Name: Goëtia
Ability Description: Via the power of the Great Old Ones, the precursors of existence, Razvan accesses magic of an unspeakable, alien variety. This is a reishi ability, but its structure and logic defy reason, and any attempts to scrutinize the abilities with rational thinking will fail.
- Spear of Byleth: Razvan's primary weapon, it is a double headed spear manifest from goetic magic. When thrown, it explodes with cero-level force and teleports back to Razvan's hand.
- Chains of Belial: An extradimensional portal opens and a prehensile chain emerges, tipped either with a spike or an empty gauntlet that acts as a hand. If the chains entangle and bind a foe, that foe's reiatsu is suppressed. In addition breaking free via brute strength, the foe may also end the reiatsu suppressing effect by expending an amount of reiryoku equivalent to casting a Gran Rey Cero.
- Flames of Amon: Hellfire: Razvan can create projections of fire in varying shapes and intensities. Each intensity tier cools down separately and can take just about any shape. From Cero (1 cooldown) to 2x Cero (2 cooldown) to Gran Rey (3 cooldown) to Cero Oscuras (4 cooldown) and Forbidden Kido (5 cooldown). Additionally he can form walls of fire that reshape the battlefield.
- Flames of Amon: Mines: Razvan summons a fireball which hovers in place. When an opponent comes within a foot of it, it explodes at bala level damage. Razvan can summon up to five per post and there can be up to twenty present at any time.
- Knife of Valefor: Razvan manifests one or more cursed knives that inflict severe bleeding when cut. If the victim intends to repair the damage, the wound reopens by itself after a post (appearing elsewhere on the victim's body if it must).
- Wisdom of Dantalion: A demon confers the ability to detect truth and falsehood to Razvan. For 3 posts he can know when he is being deceived and see past it. For example, he can sense lies when they are spoken, and illusions/disguises disappear before him. Cooldown: 3 posts
- Power of Asmodeus: For 3 posts, Razvan invokes demonic power to grant himself x2 boosts to strength and agility. Cooldown: 4 posts
- Might of Astaroth: For 3 posts, Razvan invokes demonic power to grant himself x2 boosts to durability and stamina. Cooldown: 4 posts
- Protection of Focalor: Razvan creates a purple barrier of any shape that can resist an attack of Hado 89 strength or lower. Cooldown: 3 posts
- Caress of Paimon: Eldritch magic provides healing to Razvan or another target of his choice, allowing him to instantly regenerate many minor wounds or one major wound. Cooldown: 4 posts
- Baeltower: The eldritch lair of the demon king, this fortress in Babylon is a manifestation of Razvan's magic. The hallways and chambers are permanent, but the passages that lead to them seem to change location on their own without rhyme or reason. The layout of the rooms, along with things inside of them, are controlled entirely by Razvan's whim, allowing him to create favorable terrain in any situation as long as he is in Baeltower. By expending an amount of reiryoku equal to casting a Forbidden Kidou, he can summon a copy of Baeltower wherever he is that is interdimensionally linked to the original Baeltower in Babylon.
Backdrop
History: Razvan was born to a somewhat affluent family in eastern Europe who, like many at the time, were tremendously pious. Born as the dark ages began, society knew nothing other than what their ordained priests taught them, but early on, Razvan knew better. As a child he was difficult to teach because he asked questions, and as he entered his teens he remained skeptical.
Initially, he did not believe in any kind of higher power. The existence of evil suggested to him that either nothing sat upon the throne of Heaven and the Earth simply went on for billions of years, or the cosmic ruler was indeed evil, for what could create evil if not something evil itself? And so he went on content to ignore the teachings of the church and instead discover the world on his own, but in doing so, he found something even darker hidden behind the curtain.
He was able to dig up lore on occult things that came from beyond what the priests taught him. It was magic that was real and replicable, that he could perform, and so he practiced it and learned what he could about it, letting the whispers that echoed from beyond fill his ears. The magic came from before the Soul King, that entity which they referred to as "God." The universe came before it, but that time had been forgotten for a reason lost to history.
He practiced magic and perfected it, but he was still a mortal. Eventually he was detained by a platoon of Quincy and executed under the pretense of witchcraft. Only he and the Quincy understood the real threat he posed to the cosmic order, but in executing him, they believed the threat taken care of.
Hell, however, turned out to be rather accommodating for a go-getter like him, and in the unorganized lawless society combined with his newly-earned immortality of death he was able to take his magic to new heights. Fourteen centuries and change of learning, training, and growing earned him the ability to ignore the scorn of even the dread Kushanada that watch over the sinners, allowing him to carve out a faction of his own. He now waits for the perfect time to play his hand, when the world is so embroiled in chaos that he can swoop in and collect the throne of God.
