BACK-DROP History: Born within Soul Society, Tainosuke was the youngest of four brothers. While not of nobility, his family were regarded well and acted as attendants to the Central 46. It truly was an occupation that was filled with asskissing and boring paperwork, one that he truly wanted nothing to do with. When it was noticed he had at least some control of his spiritual energy, he took the leap and joined the Shi-oh Academy and quickly flourished as a soon-to-be Shinigami. It is here that he discovered his love for pharmacology. While spiritual energy could be used for healing, medicine could create stronger effects, even of those with weaker spiritual pressure. It was a stronger tool for the common folk and soon became his obsession. As he graduated, this knowledge of medicinals easily had him placed into the 3rd Division. He became a reliable healer who used both Kaido and medicine to cure others. However, there is a dark side to the male that few have gotten a chance to notice. When it is noted that a patient holds no chance of recovery and their life isn’t long for this world, Tainosuke isn’t afraid to test what would be seen as “unethical” treatments on them to see just what reactions such will have on their being. To him, it is just their last ditch effort to contribute to science. When word got around to his skillset, it didn’t take long for the nobles of the Central 46 to take notice of him. Seeing him as just another attendant to use for their benefit, he was quickly recruited and became the primary healer and doctor for the Noble Houses. The male is now split between his new official duties and his responsibilities to tend to his fellow Shinigami. Exposition: “All lives are worth saving. But not every life is worth wasting every resource on. Try what you can, learn from what you can’t.” THE COMBAT INFORMATION General Fighting Style: Tainosuke shouldn’t fight if he can avoid such. He is a healer. If he is to draw his blade, it is probably as a last resort. Oddly enough, he strives to use healing as his main method to ensure victory. By inflicting targets with the poison of his shikai, his use of Kaido will cause it to violently explode, further spreading his toxin until they eventually bleed out or succumb to their injuries. If need be, he will use Kido to ensnare, restrain, or defend he or his patients. Strengths: Kaido, Poisons, Kido, Zanjutsu Weaknesses: Shunpo, Hakuda, Endurance Ability Name: High Poison Resistance & Immunity Ability Description: Due to the nature of his zanpakuto and his love of toxicology and pharmacology, Tainosuke has willingly exposed himself to thousands of harmful substances. This has given him a huge amount of resilience to nearly every poison imaginable. Poisons he is exposed to for the first time are only half as effective. Come second time, he will have developed an immunity (and antibodies). Ability Name: Yushometsuzai (Wound Destruction Agent) Ability Description: Perhaps the main invention of his that led towards his promotion to the Third Division, Yoshometsuzai is a drug that causes a boost in a spiritual body's ability to regenerate and repair itself from harm by greatly enhancing the body's speed of cell division. This was manufactured after countless hours of study of a Hollow's High-Speed Regeneration. While not nearly as fast, it can still mend wounds faster and more effectively than your average Kaido is capable of. Tainosuke takes a small dose of this medication daily. This causes a build up within his system, allowing him to regenerate from most injuries passively while on the battlefield. ZANPAKUTO Sealed Appearance: Suigin's sealed state is that of a nodachi. It is a very long sword about 36cm in length. To not interfere with his medical bag, he wears it at his waist despite the sheathe occasionally hitting the ground.
