Should be around here somewhere... She hadn't been in the Seirei for very long, and things were still a little fuzzy, as her memory was bad anyhow. Memorizing where things were, or people's names never was her strong point at all. It often bugged her friends, when she forgot who they were. Well, not entirely... she seemed to quite good at recognizing faces. In either case, finding her way to the meeting spot took a great deal of effort. This is likely why she wasn't sent out on errands or chores that often, took her an hour or two to go and get something. Though, she hated asking for directions around a place like this. Honestly, she didn't want people to know that the Lieutenant of the 7th Division was a total space-case.
After following false leads from various locals, and attempting to follow her miniature map as closely as possible, she was about out of breathe by the time she got to the meeting place. Either the Captain has a habit of hiding his aura, or he really wasn't in the area, she couldn't particularly tell at the moment. There were a few trademarks she could identify him with, but remembering what those things were exactly wouldn't prove an easy task. She sighed in exasperation, before walking towards the suspected person in the meeting area. Another Captain seemed to be there, but she wasn't close enough to bow just yet, or give a greeting. Yelling across this distance wouldn't be a good idea either.
Walking quickly seemed to be her only option for now, as she made her way over to the two as quickly as she possibly could. If she tripped now, it would appear most unseemly... but knowing her luck and clumsiness, it would all come true. Low and behold, right before letting a word of greeting out of her opened mouth she somehow tripped over nothing and fell flat onto her face. This was not the perfect image she had in her head this morning. Somehow, Hinoko hoped she would appear intelligent, graceful, and soft spoken but she was anything but to her own opinion. A furious blush crossed her face as she pushed up from the ground and brushed off her clothing, giving a deep bow of apology to the man who was assumed her escort, and the other had left to some building a few yards away to retrieve something.
"I'm terrible sorry for being late... and, as you can see, the air tripped me..." She coughed a bit, trying to clear her voice, running a hand over the back of her head in embarrassment. This wouldn't turn out at all like she planned... she was late, tripped over nothing, and didn't exactly show the kind of reverence that was required. Though, the person standing in front of her was a bit peculiar... Whether he was a Captain or not would probably perplex her for a little while, until she had some sign of personality, speech, or walking style to recognize. Her instructors at the Academy told her a bit about him, but she couldn't remember the majority of it to save her own skin.
"Uhm... sorry to question sir, but are you suppressing your aura?... Or perhaps you're a regular Shinigami. Detection has never been my strong point. Hinoko smiled apologetically, fumbling with her blade hilt in awkwardness. If this was her Captain... that was probably the worst thing she could have possible said to him. If it was, anyway... He didn't seem to be of Captain class, as far as she could tell anyway. Though, his sword was a bit peculiar.
