Tuesday, July 23, we will hold an "NPC Jam" this means all members will be welcome to join in and help create NPCs. The goal will be to create a data base of NPCs which can be used for plot purposes. More on the limitations and requirements for member-made NPCs will come soon. For now this thread will be locked, however on the 23rd it will be unlocked and a few example NPCs will be posted along with a template. Until then, please think about what kind of NPC you'd like to create. Don't worry! You won't have to make full apps for each one!


Today is the day! The NPC Template has been posted below. I'll start working on some example NPCs, but first I'd like to explain something.

As you can see, the NPC template has less information than the normal template. This is because these NPCs are not meant to be used right away. They will go into a database of NPCs to be used later. This way we can use them to fit the roles we need.

Bump

Since people are asking if they can make org leaders out of these NPCs, I've added a section to the Template called "Suggested Roles" You can suggest an NPC for an org leadership position, however ultimately it will be up to those who are running the plot to determine which NPCs get what roles. This is supposed to be NPCs to go into a database. They are supposed to be adaptable to take on several roles so they can be used whenever and wherever they are most needed.

Personality: Hanahiko has an aura of goodness around him, but he is for the most part a distant and rather unnoticeable individual. As an unseated shinigami in the 13 court squads, no one really relies on him any more than any other shinigami and so he normally just sits pretty until he actually has something he needs to do.

While he is unremarkable, when he talks to people Hanahiko is a very kind spirit especially if a person would be equally grateful for him or just simply acts with good nature toward Hanahiko. Though, he is quite insecure especially about his masculinity. Hanahiko will often stand tall and proud, working out often to avoid being called feminine. His inherently feminine nature has caused many of his peers to refer to him as 'Hanako'.

Role Suggestions: Probably generic NPC assistant for new players. An unseated shinigami either sitting in the barracks or vehemently doing his job. Might be used to spice up a few games that may otherwise be boring.
