Bleach Story Communal Contest Layout




Objective Status:
Undetermined will be posted here for the most of the week. Once the week comes to an end, the person in charge of the communal contest will edit in 'reached' or 'failed'. If the members reached the goal, they get the prize. If they failed, they will need to wait for the next communal contest.

This Week's Goal:
Each Communal Contest, there will be a goal. Goals are normally roleplay posts, but sometimes bonus goals will be added, such as bringing in a new members, participating in a game/chat, etc.

Prizes:
Prizes will always vary. Most of the time, they will be points that are awarded, but a rare tier-up, item, or character slot may be added, so keep checking back!

Terms of Agreement:
- Each person must have at least the required amount of posts to participate and receive the prize.
- The posts must have been posted AFTER the timestamp of the Communal Contest.
- One prize per person. Multiple accounts may be used, but the prize will only be given to one IP.
- At least two people must have entered and participated for the prize to be given.
- Competitions end between five and seven days! This is your deadline when entering events, so do not do so at the last minute!

How to Enter:
Read the instructions for that particular Communal Contest. Most of the time, you just need to write up a roleplay post, post it in the Contest thread, then keep editing in links to posts as you go. Although, have in mind that this is a COMMUNAL contest. That means more than one person has to enter for the prize to be distributed. If you have questions, post them in the contest thread.

Who hosts the Communal Contests?
That would be General Staff most of the time, but one in a while a Librarian, Mission Mod, or Member may be asked to hold one for the week.

What do I do once the goal has been considered Reached?
Go request the prize in a Reward Claim template and link to the contest you participated in!

Can I use NPCs in a RP Communal Contest?
Yes, you can! You are also welcome to use yet-to-be-approved characters.

Why were Communal Contests created?
Yours truly, Yuki, pitched in the idea as a motivator for roleplay, seeing as our forum was slowly dying. When participating in Communal Contests, you have nothing to lose, so why not give it a go?

I don't see the Communal Contest for this week!
No? Then PM a staffer immediately if more than three days have gone by since the ending of the most recent one. Usually, it's because it was forgotten about.

This prize is unfair for the objective this week!
Prizes and objectives are decided randomly. When we see a lot of forum activity, the objective standard goes up, but the prize may or may not remain the same. Or if the forum is dying, there may be an easy objective and big prize. It really all depends.

Someone told me we would do Monthly Communal Contests?
It was an idea, yes. Once in a while, there may be a special Communal Contest for events, holidays, or just whenever the people in charge of the contests are feeling especially generous.
