I'd like opinions on this, since my ideas are the one's being copied(in my opinion) So I can't help but feel that I'll end up being biased here.

-Both my character and this character to be, have the same ability, that is excessive reiatsu.
-Zanpakuto Elements are the same. The only difference being that my character gains lightening upon releasing shikai and both lightening and magnetism when releasing bankai.
-Though, I've been told that having dragons as zanpakuto spirits is pretty common, but well that's still another resemblance.
-The shikai ability is another copy in my opinion, but not from my app but rather from Yuki's character(Yuki Akies).

So what's your take on this? Am I just finding things that aren't even there or is it like the way I see it?

As a note, Epizon first PMed me about this. =] I told him he should post it here for other opinions, as this is the 'proper' way to deal with plagiarism.

I personally am having trouble telling if it was theft, or just a coincidence. One thing to note is that they both have the same element. This can be inevitable, and is not a rulebreak. For example, there are plenty of characters out there with Ice elements including Mizuko, Yuki Seika, and many others. And thus, their techniques and abilities can seem very similar. Such as making ice mirrors or ice clones or whatever. Honestly, Yuri's techs and Epi's techs do not seem too similar, but this is my opinion.

For Enormous Reiryoku, this is another vague ability. It is used in canon many times, such as in the case of Ichigo I believe, and really can't be 'claimed'. Yuri also has Shunpo clones just like Luke Yasenha, but Epi-kun told me that Soi Fon has this ability in the canon.

So now that I have stated the obvious, what do you all think? PLEASE respond and do not brush this aside, guys. =]

you know, i did see a lot of similarities between the two when i was grading his app. But as far as plagiarism goes, i don't think it's happening here. like yuki said, Lightning as an element is pretty common, not just here, but on other sites as well. it's so common in fact, that i just can't see that being a "copy" of anyone. In addition, the abilities that he was asking for were far and beyond what epizon has as far as power goes. i had to tone down almost all of his techniques. Shunpo clones are actually also pretty common, as well as "special Shunpo's" that use an element or a different "way" to shunpo. the large Reiatsu is an ichigo thing. and we all know how everyone wants to be ichigo

So, i don't think this is a case of plagiarism, and is really more of a Mary Sue. someone who wants all the 'cool' abilities without much original thought.

not having really ready your app Epi, i can't say for sure, but i would have to agree that it's kinda mary sue in that it seems more like just a bunch of miscellaneous items put together. it can happen anywhere.

I agree. =] I don't think he put a lot of thought into techs/abilities. That's normal with first characters. Even my first char was a mary sue.

Since the three of you agree that tis not a case of plagiarism then I suppose I was wrong in thinking so. Ty everyone, for your opinions.
