Here is a number of badges. =] I think these can be used for Poster of the Week. Each time you reach that position, you get a badge. Or it can be spread out.

First time you get Poster of the Week
Third time
Fifth time
Seventh time
Tenth time
Fifteenth time
And so on.

That, or we can use all these color badges for different things until we need new design badges. But unlike other sites, I want to keep one type of badge, and then design a new one when we need it. It can make us unique.

We can have a badge request thread, and when you hit one of the milestones or something badge-worthy, you request the color you want. Once you hit all badges you get something big, like a few points or something. This will make people interested in earning all the badges they can, thus keeping the site active.

Here is the first design. I am working on others as I type, including Ichigo's Deputy Shinigami badge, Ichigo mask icon, etc. Please posts thoughts and approvals. Once I've finished all the badges we can come to a conclusion for what we want to do. I will also be making OTM badges.

EDIT: I may be making Squad-exclusive badges with the symbol or flower that represents each division. These badges will be given to people if they join a Shinigami squad. =]

Second EDIT: Will be editing in badges as I go. I need ideas for what to give the colored badges for.

Third EDIT: I just finished putting the badges into the system. Look at my mini-profile for example, just under my fields under my avatar. These badges are not permanent for me, but for example.

Actually, I'm hoping to make a Badge Request thread for members. =] I don't know what to do with the colored badges- you can work that out, but a request thread is what most sites use when members have made an achievement. Staff with the power to give badges track it and reward the badge if they have earned it. =]

Please let me know what you plan to do. ^^ I will be making an Award Guide so people know what they can attempt to achieve.

I still need to make an OTM badge. I have this system in mind, but it may not work:

Colored BS Badges:

Member gets PoTW - Default badge
Third time - Choice of a colored badge
Fifth time - Choice of a colored badge
Seventh time - Choice of a colored badge
Tenth time - Choice of a colored badge
Fifteenth time - Choice of a colored badge.

And every fifth time off of that. While getting PoTW can be tough, there are other things you can do for a colored badge of your choice.

Character of the Month
Member of the Month

Purchase it-
Five points per badge

Other ways-
Participate actively in at least ONE official site plot RP
Freely make roleplay templates/graphics/art for at least three people.

Once you get all nine badges, you can trade them in for a super exclusive badge and work for them again!

First time you get all nine-
Bronze BS Member Badge
An extra character slot
No cooldown for a training thread

Second time-
Silver BS Member Badge
Extra character slot
One free ability and technique.

Third time-
Gold Member Badge
All of the colored badges!
One tier up for a character.

Yeah... I need help. xD Will be working on the Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals though.

I will think something for the others, but Yuki we need large badges for OTM.

The Vizard mask was going to be for Plotbuster. =] Or something just in itself.

The thing is, I don't think that is as organized. ^^; It's a good idea, but I am wanting the colored badges to be either milestone(like you mentioned), 'scavenger hunt', or all used for mainly the same thing.

By Scavenger Hunt, it means you have to do different things to earn 'em. xD Sort of like what I suggested above. Maybe we hold them for OOC event winners? idk.

Whoa whoa wait. o.O Udarsha, I feel you are not getting the concept of these badges. They are supposed to be uniform, organized, etc. Look under my mini-profile for examples.

I have ideas for the 'different' ones. But it's simply the colored badges we are trying to find something for. It should roughly relate to one another, such as making it a milestone badge or something.

A member completes what he/she is supposed to do, then posts on a Badge Request thread requesting the badge and with proof that he/she earned it. Then us staff reward them by going to Edit Profile>>Choose badge>>Save. These badges stay there permanently. That's why I suggested the system a few posts above for the color badges. =]
