8pm at 24 holly court the moon was hanging high in the night sky. A lone figure stands on the stairs of a beautiful church.i check my rolex and think to myself I hope the spectre made the message complete and didn't forget anything. The air at night was cool which to be honest felt good to me. Contrary to belief I personally run a little bit cold. I spell the air an opening is near by perhaps my guest is arrivimng after all I think

Devil in Sheep Skin
A portal closes near the pue of the church, right unfront of a giant morbid crusifix of the savior of man. The sound of dress shoes clacking against a cold wooden floor echoes throughout the enormous vaccant cathedral. The steps are slow but purposeful as they near the entrance of the church. The gargantuan double doors slowly creek open and the source of the footsteps reveal themselves in the form of a tall shadowy figure. The several hundred candles that illuminate the mostly dark building flicker causing a bit of light to shine on the figures face. It reveals a handsome ebony brown man with a clean cut appearance. A snakish smirk engulfs his face and rest below a pair of hollow empt eyes. His body is covered by a standard black preachers garb worn by the fathers of the catholic church. Rieatsu iminates from the man but it has no feeling to it. Not , coolness, not heat, nothing. It is colorless, invisible and empty. It is as if this man lacks that most basic feature of life that even the demons of hell possess..a soul..This man, is Hollis Edwards. He speaks in a smooth sultry tone.



"Hello. you must be the mysterious stranger that summoned me. please, come in. oh and i believe i have something of yours.."


Hollis hands the man a peculiar ring. It was given to him back in soul society and as the shadow creature said it did provide him safe passage to the human world. No one even confronted him about his leaving.


"You caught me at a good time. I just so happened to have had a bit of business to take care of in this world of the living. Now, forgive me for getting to the point but, who may i ask, are you exactly?"


A cool wind blows as hollis stands in a brief awkward silence, staring at the man that summoned him. He then places his hands behind his back and turns to walk back towards the epicenter of the cathedral very slowly.

As the door opens I turn my skin flawless like porcelin in the moon light. My guest speaks and then turns and walks away. I appear in front of him only a dull bass thud could be heard."i summoned you because you don't belong where you are now. I called to you because you have always felt that way." I hand him back the ring"keep ahold of this.you'll need it soon" I,turn and walk to the right wall of the church. A wall of candles stands before me. I blow out a pattern of candles and a door opened. Club music can be heard now,distant but chrisp. I look back and say to hollis"are you coming? Forgive my rudeness my name is Jacob....Jacob Chambers."

hollis raises a brow as he watches the stranger reappear in front of him. he thinks about how such a move is very similar to a shinigamis shunpo. however based on the sound it madr its closer to an arrancars sonido.

my my, those are some bold accusations youre making there, you presume to know a great deal about me..but you know what they say about assumptions. you always end up making an ass out of you and mption..


captain edwards chuckles a bit as he takes back the dragon rinh. loud party music can be heard as the man starts to walk off. hollis follows behind him.

hm. I suppose you have a point

hollis follows jacob down a long hall mostly shrouded in darkness but lit up by flashing lights every few seconds. as edwards walks with his hands behind his back his fingers begin to move a bit to the beat of the rythmatic music roaring throughout the club.

Jacob stops at a t in the hallway."now we go to the right." He says out load so that hollis could hear him. He walks about another ten feet until he stops once again and opens a door leading into a balcony over looking the clubs dance floor. Hundreads of humans are underneath the two who can overlook it,at anytime. Jacob turns and faces hollis again"i know a club in a church how sacreligious."
There are no other people on the balcony just the two there standing a large table sits against the rail.

hollis continues to follow jacob until they reach a balcony overlooking the large dance floor. edwards looks down for a bit to view the mass of humans dancing below. he then looks back up at jacob with same smirk he always carries on his face. he reaches into his shirt and pulls out a shiny red apple. the shinigami takes a small bite before casually leaning against the table and speaking.

eh, im sure God would simply find this amusing more than anything.so. what is it you called me here for, I mean specifically. or are you just trying to whoo me with a candle lit dinner. aw shucks now I feel special


hollis says with an unchanging nonchalant expression as he takes another bite from his apple.

"a man of buisness I like that. I asked you to come here to see if you,were as I believed you too be and I am sure to be correct. That and a man such as myself tends to find allies in every and any place possible." jacob says as he moved to the rail as well he looks out,into the sea of humanity"yes god. He doesn't care at all mr edwards not even in the least." Jacob continues.

well im glad I lived up to our expectations

hollis tosses up his apple into the air and catches it, biting it as he does. he then turns to jacob and watches how he stares disdainfully at the humans below. he picks up on his tone when he mentions God. with all this information in mind, hollis dedeuces that his hypothesis is indeed correct.


so, im assuming you want to make some sort of alliance with me then? well im always up for making new friends but quite frankly I dont see the point in such a thing..besides..the relations between the soul society and hell remain neutral. its not like you have some nefarious plot up your sleeve.. right?


captain edwards continues to eat his apple as his lifelesd eyes stare blanky into jacobs.
