Aurora looked at her room making sure she had her side of her dorm the way she wanted. She didn't care for anything else/ She had her neat and organized side. She sighed removing her gloves to let her hands rest from sweating "I need to stop relying so much on these...I need to learn to not be...so scared. Come on Aurora, you are a hero as of today."She Said to herself tapping her cheeks some trying to get herself to actually leave her usual isolated life. She left home to get out on her own.To not be watched over every second of her life. She was done having her entire life structured. This was her time!

She changed out of her covered clothing style  getting herself to wear a t-shirt with some simple jeans. She looked towards her gloves debating whether to put them on or not...She decided against using them as she rested them on her desk. She sighed looking at her scarf deciding to at least put it on. it was something familiar and often gave her comfort when trying new things. She took a deep breath before she stepped towards the door leaving her dorm locking it behind her before heading down the hall to find some place to sit and try enjoying the unnoticed company.

Time off was always a good thing, Kamiko always got a little restless when she was stuck in classes doing menial busywork or cooped away in her dorm procrastinating. So she had decided to just head out and stretch her legs. Unfortunately, so far she hadn't found anything more interesting on the outside. Most people were busy doing their own thing... Idly, the girl would flip one of her coins as she walked, catching it between her fingers to roll it back and forth as she finally noticed someone walking alone, looking somewhat skittish for some reason...

Odd, she couldn't remember seeing her around before now, so maybe they were just in different classes? Regardless, she decided she could make a new friend maybe. "Hey, you alright? Looking a bit nervous there" She would keep pace and walk beside the older girl. While Aurora was a stranger, Kamiko was reasonably well known around the school. She was a promising student after all, if considered a little too reckless for her own good. Though with her promising outlook she was also known to be a bit of a hothead. For now, she would follow along with Aurora and just see how things panned out.

Aurora made sure to keep out of everyone's way as she went exploring till she heard a voice address her. Oh boy here we go. Aurora snapped out of her train of thought looking over to see another girl. She listened to the girl ask if eveything was alright. "Y-yes every thing is actually fine...i'm just not use to crowds and things of this nature..but i want to get use to crowds and this school. So i'm trying to get use to all this...I'm Aurora Vanisis. It is nice to meet you uh..."she said wrapping a bit of her scarf around her hand beforw holding it out to the girl.

Kamiko would look curiously at the outstretched hand, mostly because the girl had wrapped it in her scarf. It was always hard to tell what someones quirk was, but maybe Aurora's was activated by touch? With a slight shrug she would give her a quick handshake. "Kamiko Arai, good to meet you too" The girl seemed nice enough, just a little strange is all. "Well I haven't really been around here very long yet, want to go have a look around?" Killing two birds with one stone really, getting to know the campus and helping out Aurora get over her shyness. Well, assuming that she would be allowed to do so.

"It is very nice to meet you as well. Would you want to be...My friend?"she asked pulling away her hand before unwrapping it. "Sorry for the odd hand shake. I forgot my gloves in my room cause honestly I didnt think I would actually talk with anyone outside my two family members and their friend..."She said apologetically. "I never really been allowed out on my own or around unapproved people...So I am bad with this...talking thing"She replied nodding to the girl speaking of exploring the academy together.

"Well I don't see why not" Kamiko raised an eyebrow, it was a little odd in general but she could let that slide for now. She figured the gloves were a consequence of her quirk, but there was no point in digging any further into that for now. "You've never been let out by yourself?" That didn't sound like a healthy childhood, but it did explain her strange mannerisms at the very least. "Don't worry about it, you'll be able to work on that... so, how about some lunch?" That seemed like a good place to start, plus if they got there quickly they would be able to get a good table and just relax until the lunch rush started.

Aurora watched the girl raise a eyebrow at her enspecially when she seemed shocked at the fact Aurora had never been let out on her own "Well given who my parents are and the fact i received both of their quirks...They kinda always been afraid for my safety and afraid of how others may aee or use me...Along with their line of work...They been so scared so the only interaction i got on my own was internet wise behind a screen..." She replied just giving a tiny explaination to her childhood. She could be an open book but her shyness and nerves were keeping her from doing so. She kept hearing her mother's warning of keeping as much about herself as secret as possible that it was safest that way. She closes her eyes before wrapping her left hand around her right elbow while her head moved down but to the right.

Almost a second later Aurora shaked her head snapping out of the slight depressed state she was once in. She smiled cheering up at the sound of lunch. "Yes, I would love to get some lunch. I had been working on my room all day." She replied happy to get some lunch.

It certainly didn't sound like a healthy way to be brought up, but Kamiko was going to just keep that to herself for now, no need to get the girl too concerned about her upbringing. After all, it sounded like her parents had only the best intentions for her. Either way, their little conversation would last until they had come across the canteen. There were a few students milling about at this stage but mostly it seemed they had managed to beat the rush and essentially get to the head of the line.

"Awesome! Sounds like a plan to me" She nodded as they moved along the line, with Kamiko grabbing herself a drink while adding a few bits and pieces to her tray. Letting Aurora do the same, they would soon would sitting by themselves at one of the smaller tables around the side. With Kamiko cracking open her soft drink to take a quick swig. Taking a single coin from her pocket to play with as they began to eat. With little blue sparks emitting from her fingers as the coin levitated just a few inches from her hand. "So are you excited for the sports festival? We haven't got long to get ready for this one"

Aurora listened to Kamiko agreeing to the plan on eating some lunch. She kept close to Kamiko keeping close to the girl trying to avoid any touch or social interactions with anyone outside the one person she literally actually wanted to try talking to. Aurora followed after Kamiko grabbing an apple and a bottle of water. She paided for her meal before following to a empty table. Aurora pushed her hair back behind her shoulder as she smiled slowly taking a bite out of her apple while taking her time chewing the piece. She swallowed a few seconds after Kamiko asked about her thought on the festival.

"Honestly, I can see how it is needed for potential Agencies to view who they want to recruit after graduation but...Unfortunately, I am maybe part of it but I am utterly useless when it comes to physical fighting...My quirk is more to stay hidden and observe...grab information...I can't fight to save my life so this festival will shove away any potential Agencies that don't know about my quirk but some might once they know who my parents are."She replied

Kamiko still hadn't managed to figure out exactly what this girl's quirk was, she seemed to really be keeping that under wraps. It also seemed that she wasn't looking forward to the upcoming tournament. A shame really, but it did give her a better idea on what Aurora could actually do. She picked away at her food, while she listened "Well, I can't wait. I think I've got a pretty good shot at taking the whole thing!" She seemed pretty confident in her abilities. "I've been working on a new technique, I reckon people are gonna love it" The girl would take another swig of her drink before leaning back into her chair, catching the coin she had been flipping. "If we end up having a match I promise I'll go easy on you" She give a playful smirk, though really she would rather take on tougher challenges, there was hardly any sport in fighting someone who couldn't really fight back.
