Preferring his time alone, he tends to keep to himself in his seemingly endless battle against the damned. Hostile to those he deems evil (Other sinners tend to be the most likely target, but hollows and visored are treated with similar hostility) This crusade is not for the greater good however, the swordsman craves battle more than anything else. FIGHTING STYLE General Fighting Style: The black swordsman uses his obscene strength and sheer grit to overpower and destroy his enemies. Hefting what seems to be a lump of crude iron hammered into the shape of a sword with ease. Strengths: Strength, Weapon Master, Endurance, Agility Weaknesses: Sensing, Reiryoku, Reishi, Control SINNER POWERS Weapon Name: The Dragonslayer Description: An enormous hunk of iron fashioned into a blade. Strong enough to combat the zanpakuto of the Shinigami and equivalent items of the other races. It’s hefty blade works well as a shield. Effects: - May dash forward 10m with this weapon, used to close the distance Ability Name: Shattering Offense (Passive) Description: The sheer power behind each strike makes blocking or relying on armour untenable Effects: - Blocks using weapons/shields still allow damage through (Reduced by one step) - Armour is shattered after one strike and is disabled from regeneration for two turns - Multiple layers of armour take one strike each, and are disabled for 2 turns for each layer Ability Name: Grit (Passive) Description: Over a thousand years of battle has left the man almost immune to pain. Effects: - Damage reduced by one step from all sources (Bala reduced to basic attack) - Bloodloss and pain effects reduced in effectiveness (50%) Ability Name: Hidden Arm Cannon Description: The Swordsman’s left arm is synthetic, made from some unknown metal. It contains a cannon that can concentrate energy to blast foes from range. Effects: - Arm is similarly as strong as his Dragon Slayer sword - May utilize the cannon to deal Gran Rey damage (4 post cooldown) - Another use is a lower powered shot (Cero damage) but allows the swordsman to enhance his swing, dealing an additional cero damage with a shunpo speed slash. (2 post cooldown, shared with regular cannon attack) Ability Name: Fury Description: The longer a battle continues and the more blood that is shed seems to increase the swordsman’s efforts. This fury makes it difficult to really tell friend from foe however. Effects: - Upon activation, all attacks are enhanced by one step, increasing by one for each post that passes. - Lasts 4 posts (Damage stacks to Gran Rey for the final post), with a 8 post cooldown. - Attacks according the following list, the high up the more likely they are to be attacked: >Sinners >Hollows >Vizards >Bount >Shinigami >Human (Advent, Quincy) Ability Name: The Demonslayer (Final Ability) Description: Upon activation, a thick black armour covers the swordsmans body, succumbing to his nature to kill, he will fall into a trance with the need to kill everyone around him. Once ended, the armour shatters and the battle ends. Effects: - Fury activates automatically (Even on cooldown) - Basic attacks begin enhanced at gran rey and will step up until they reach two forbidden kidou. - In this form, the swordsman may dash up to 25m forward at shunpo speed once per post - The final attack (Dealing 2x Forbidden kidou damage) causes an explosion of energy in a 100m radius. Ability Name: Planeswalker Description: The Swordsman is known to appear on battlefields, often out of nowhere. It is unknown how he does this, but his appearance is considered a bad omen. Effects: - Allows the traveling through dimensions, though this may not be used in combat. - Can only travel alone. Ability Name: Mark of Sacrifice (Passive) Description: A strange mark of unknown origin, seems to bleed in the presence of other sinners as well as hollow energy. Acts as a early warning for these creatures. Effects: - 100m radius, grows stronger as he gets closer to allow for vague tracking. BACK-DROP History: Little is known about the black swordsman, it is said he was once a mercenary of legendary skill. The bodies left in his wake enough to cause even the most hardened man to tremble. At some stage, he was betrayed by his band and was sentenced to an afterlife of punishment. Roleplay Sample: Guts, you don’t wash your hands. They just wash each other while you stand there and watch. |
