Rinoa moved to help another person as she found them trapped under some rubble within the building she had entered. With a few heave's she figured she couldn't move it with brute strength and instead destroyed it using her Gunblade instead. Freeing the person trapped underneath with ease they scrambled weakly to get out of the room..Rinoa helped them up and out as best she could and was glad she left when she did because the building finished collapsing in on itself as she got the last person out.

So much destruction.. and it wasn't just this part of the city or even this one block, it was everywhere in New York City. She sighed quietly and shook her head as she steeled her resolve. Things weren't going to get any better unless she helped out so she started sensing for any other spiritual signatures that were fading or in flux. Usually a sign that the owner is in danger of some kind, and wandered the wreckage at a quick pace.

Everything was in ruin..

If only she had returned home sooner. If only she had been here to deal with whatever calamity had befallen her neighbors and friends. Things might have been different. The city might not be destroyed. She shook her head again as she kept searching for, and rescuing, survivors as best she could until someone or something stopped her. This wasn't the time for such thoughts, action was needed now.

Natasha had been troubled ever since the attack. Her mind had been in constant distress womdering how, why, and where she could have improved. She wondered if something she did caused her to fail. She wondered if maybe she could have done something different. She wondered why she wasn't quick enough and how she could possibly improve. All of these people were trapped, killed, and hurt because she couldn't defeat her opponent in time. Half of the city was still untouched when she had started fighting him, but because she wasn't mentally ready for combat, it had also been destroyed. Maybe, if she had been more serious.

Natasha was still having these thoughts as she attempted to roam the city and save survivors. As she saved them, they would thank her for doing so, although she knew she didn't deserve the praise. She was the one that had put them in such a situation to begin with. She was the one that caused their families and friends to die. She couldn't protect them. Her power was all for nothing. As she counted the individuals she pulled from the rubble, Natasha would stop in her tracks. She would feel an awfully strong spiritual pressure heading her way, although it didn't seem to be moving at a hostile pace.

Natasha would turn her eyes towards the spiritual presence noticing a girl appearing around the wreckage. She looked as if she was searching for something or someone, although Natasha had never seen her before. "Hey! You! Do you need any help? Are you searching for something in particular?" Natasha would call out to her, although her words seemed to be very blunt.

Rinoa stopped as she felt someone strong approaching, but then heard them call out to her wondering if "she" needed any help, "No I'm okay. I'm trying to see if anyone else is still trapped under rubble. By the feels of it though I don't think there are. At least not nearby." She replied calmly while she took a quick look at her surroundings again, nothing but destruction and construction as the city tried to rebuild.. A shame.

"Who are you? Do you know what happened here? How could the city be destroyed so quickly? I was only gone for a week!" Rinoa said as her usual chatterbox attitude started to show, "I still can't believe it, it's just like it's a bad dream and I just need to wake up ya know?" She took another look around and frowned however, "It's not a dream is it though.." She crossed her arms and sighed softly as she turned her attention back to Natasha, "I'm Rinoa Heartilly by the way."

Natasha would nod as the woman answered her as she understood exactly what she meant. Natasha hadn't felt any living presense either in the area meaning, hopefully, that everyone had been rescued from the rubble. She still couldn't believe the state the city had been in. A sigh would escape her mouth before the woman would begin to ask her questions. Natasha would look up towards the woman as she would ask who she was and what had happened to the city. As she continued to speak, Natasha would look away her heart aching all the more as she listened to the woman's troubles.

"My name is Natasha. I was here when it happened. A man with terribly strong power just appeared. He took me by surprise. Before I knew it, he had taken out half of the city in a matter of just seconds. When I found him, I tried to stop him, but he finished off the city, then he.. turned into some hollowfied monster. Before I could finish him off, he was taken away and I was left with hollows to occupy the rest of my energy. It was my fault. I failed the city. I'm sorry I caused you pain." Natasha would speak before she would look towards the ground. The very concrete she was standing on had once been a wall and now, it was nothing.

She put a hand on Natasha's shoulder, "This isn't your fault. Don't beat yourself up for something someone else did of their own volition. It's their fault." Rinoa said calmly despite feeling just as guilty as the person in front of her, "Besides you did everything you could and you were all alone against such a monster." She put a finger up and smiled, "I have an idea of sorts. What if you formed some kind of group for people to join to help better defend the city or something? Surely there have to be more people like us that can fight the bad guys right?"

She hadn't thought of it before, but now that she had she was totally into it, joining the fight against Evil was her ultimate objective anyways so this would make that much easier, "We could start hunting around for more people while we think of a name or something. I don't know. I'm just spit balling ideas at the moment. What do you think?" Assuming the girl agreed Rinoa would resume walking around looking for other spiritual presences with which to track people and help them if they needed it.

After a few minutes she found a small boy with his leg trapped under a bar of metal of some kind, a girder maybe? He didn't seem hurt but he couldn't move either. Rinoa tried heaving the thing off of him but she wasn't some kind of physical buffhead and thus got nowhere quickly. With his leg in the position it was in she couldn't risk cutting the beam in half either.. she might accidentally hit the kid. So that was out, "Think you can lift this off him?" She said to Natasha while trying to keep the boy calm with "There there" and "it'll be alright"

The woman would place her hand on Natasha's shoulder and speak in an attempt to comfort her. She would attempt to reassure her that none of this had been her fault and that the enemy was just a menace. However, Rinoa would also speak of starting a group of people to help defend the humans and the city. This would make Natasha smile as she listened to Rinoa speak more on her idea, although Natasha had been given the means to do the same sort of thing she was speaking of. The green haired female would nod towards Rinoa before she would take her turn to speak.

"Well, actually, the idea had been brought up to me previously. It was an idea brought up as a sort of committee type deal. I've already got a few individuals lined up and other things are being taken care of now. By the time I get enough people to help, everything should be set. You seem very passionate about this and I would be honored if you would join us. We don't have a name yet, but I'd love to hear your idea if you come up with one. So, what do you say?" Natasha would smile at her before she would notice that Rinoa had picked up on something. A person?

She would follow after the woman arriving as she was attempting to lift the large metal beam off of him. It seemed that she didn't quite have the strength to do so and she could tell the woman was nervous about trying anything else. She would turn to Natasha to ask for some help, which would be greeted by a nod from the woman. As Rinoa would attempt to keep the child calm, Natasha would position herself before the beam and pull up on it. It was certainly heavy for her as it took a moment to lift it, however she would manage to pick the object up and move it gently off of the child. She would set it down carefully off to the side so not to disturb any of the other rubble around it. "There we are. How does that leg look?" Natasha would ask as she would return to Rinoa's side.

"A name..?" Rinoa said in response to Natasha, "I wouldn't know what to name something so important, but I would love to join and help people!" then they worked together to get the kid free and get him all fixed up. Rinoa asked if he knew where his parents were and he pointed off in a section of the city which was being rebuilt rather than being destroyed. He had apparently been playing in the rubble when it fell on him. She sent him off and waved with a warm smile as he left towards his folks who started to lecture him about how dangerous it was around here once they realized what had happened.

"I may not be able to think of a name for it.. but I can think of ways to help this group of yours protect the future and that it takes more power than I possess." Rinoa said that and rubbed her arm slowly still feeling slightly depressed, however she shook it off and laughed all of a sudden, "But now that I know there are more people like me who want to help then maybe we can get the strength we need to make a difference ya know?"

Suddenly more rubble fell from the nearby building and tried to squish Natasha and Rinoa, a pair of large steel girders, in a reflex Rinoa sprung into action and white angel wings popped out of her back as she raised her arms towards the falling rubble and controlled it with her mind before tossing it into the ground to the left of the pair of women. She breathed out a sigh of relief and her wings disappeared as she powered down.

"Hopefully the city can rebuild quickly.. it sure is dangerous around here."

It still seems they didn't have a name, however she was sure it was something simple and something she had already said many times before. She was certain the name would come to her soon for their little comittee, but she just hadn't accepted it yet. Natasha would watch with a smile as Rinoa took care of the little boy and sent him off to his family. It was very obvious that her actions matched her words. She could tell that Rinoa loved to help people just hy the way she took care of them. Natasha could tell that this woman was going to be so important to their cause, which would make her all the more confident.

Natasha would watch as Rinoa seemed to still be hurt by the thought of not having the strength to protect this world. However, Natasha felt that feeling all too well herself, especially since she had been the first line of defense for this city. She was supposed to protect it and only succeeded with the 40 percent that wasn't destroyed. However, she would then change the subject to a more upbeat tone as she would speak positivity about the situation. They were growing in numbers and they were bound to get stronger. It was something that Natasha was going to have to take a while to accept. It was something that would have to be completed for her to feel the effects of reparation.

Natasha had been standing with her back a structure that would suddenly attempt to collapse onto her. She had been careless and forgotten the danger of the space they were in as she was too concerned with the child before. However, Rinoa would quickly take care of the problem using some sort of telepathic power to remove the object from the duo's path. Natsha would turn to watch the display before returning to Rinoa. It was certainly a beautiful power and the wings were very symbolic of Rinoa's kind heart. "I think the future of this city is bright. We all have weaknesses, but together I think we'll be much stronger. I have no doubts about it. I'll be looking forward to seeing you again soon, Rinoa. It seems we have a lot more ground to cover, though. It may be best to part ways here," Natasha would smile as she could sense there were others that needed help.
