Witnessing how the Shinigami retreated for now to create some distance between them Vulcan couldn't help but find enjoyment in this turn of events. "What's this? I thought you were going to kill me?" Taunting his opponent even further by pinching himself in the cheek before another remark would leave his lips. "Nope, I'm still alive." The Vizard figured two could play this game as he decided to keep his distance as well, protected by the 1.000 flower petals surrounding him. For the time being Vulcan would simply test some waters as he wanted to avoid things turning into a conversation again. Sending a total of 500 of his flower petals, 250 to the left side of Kirou and the other 250 to his right, while the other 500 remained at the Vizard's side in case he had to react to anything so he was still protected by a large amount of flower petals. Attacking the Shinigami from both sides in an attempt to crush and rip his opponent to shreds. 

Actions Taken:

Naturally, the kunai returned to the male after being thrown to the side, away from the battlefield and its owner turned his attention to the male vizard. The male must not have been bothered by multiple thorns piercing his skin as he made no attempt to dodge the projectiles, that were released the same time the hado was cast, while charging at Vulcan. Regardless it seemed as though he was done testing Azayaka since he attempted to strike the other male point blank only to be stopped by a fiery aura. Now that Vulcan had the shinigami up close and personal he attacked with a stream of fire that the intruder simply flash stepped away from. The ryoka now had a smile on his face whether or not it was in reaction to the other male’s joke; it seemed that Vulcan’s test was now over as well. The two men would power up around the same time with one turning blue and the other surrounding himself with flower petals to which Azayaka thought, Of fucking course. Finally realizing why he approached her that day in the world of the living, had this been a spar she might’ve rolled her eyes but right now she was devoid of all feelings. It was obvious that the shinigami was rethinking his plan with the lack of a follow-up attack. Vulcan took advantage of the lag to taunt and without skipping a beat he sent 500 of his flower petals to split evenly and attack both sides of the shinigami. Helping with the assault Azayaka lashed her petal spiked sword at the ryoka releasing 6 flowers emitting corrosive mist around him. Whereas 6 more buds lined both sides of her blade.

Even with his speed, Kirou had been unable to deflect all of the thorns, the few that pierced him burned though with the change of aura in place the wounds healed and the pain subsided quickly, not as rapidly as he would like but fast enough that the few scrapes he had managed to get so far were no more. But the pair were not going to just stand idly by while he licked the wounds he had received. Vulcan, the Vizard with the fiery petals decided to launch a volley towards the silver-haired god of death, while his female companion lashed out with her whip-like blade and more flowers. These two are really taking the term flower power a little to literally for my tastes, well time to employ my master's second favorite form, aside from her natural one that is

With another blink Kirou would vanish, both attacks literally converging on nothing, though as he reappeared twenty or so feet to his left of where he was before, his previously blue reiryoku would turn a faint green, his speed improving even further than in his previous two forms though as the power surged through his body it was not just his speed that improved but his strength as well making his blows strike even harder. The smile on his face was hidden by his mask, the two had been showing some impressive feats of speed and skill so far, and with the versatility of their defenses there was little that he could do to get in close where he thrived.

But with sufficient enough speed, and strength he could force quick openings if they spread their defenses too thin, or take advantages of openings when they stack up the defense. Either way he knew that he just needed to be even faster than before, at least to start... who knows if this keeps up though he will definitely have to break out his old masters favorite form...

Utilizing the increased speed and strength Kirou would Shunpo again this time reappearing in front of Azayaka, before using shunpo again this time reappearing at Vulcan's right, before flashing back to Azayaka's right where he would launch a kick right to her face before shunpo'ing again this time right behind Vulcan, swinging the shadow-encrusted blade in a rapid x-shape across his back. With one more Shunpo he would re-appear to Azayaka's left, pointing his index finger at her he would loose a white lighting blast at her legs, a basic Hado with incredible piercing potential, Byakurai. Aggression was back in play, as his ability to fight at a distance was not quite as potent as theirs. But up close, that is where he belonged.

Techniques Used:

When faced with an opponent of much higher speed it was important to prepare your next move and anticipate those of your enemy, which was exactly what Vulcan had done. Setting up a distraction, how little it may have been, the Vizard expected Kirou to avoid getting crushed by the first salvo of flower petals. Regardless of the Shinigami's speed, even he knew getting caught in them would turn out bad for him. The moment Kirou vanished the first time, so before he could make it to the Vizard's position, Vulcan immediately produced a wide ring of spiritual energy, blasting the ring outwards, causing a large scale explosion around the surrounding area. How impressive the Shinigami's speed might be, he would still have trouble dealing with Zangerin, even more so since Kirou had yet to achieve his full speed.

Simultaenously the Vizard used Fushibi to protect his right, being the weaker side of the two since he was left handed and that one would be more prone for an attack. In case Kirou would indeed end up at that position he'd be temporarily stopped. If for whatever reason his opponent was able to avoid everything the Vizard would use the flower petals around him to cut his enemy regardless of his position. Of course there was always the possibility that his plan would fail, but at least he tried to come up with enough measures to protect and counteract.

Actions taken:

The speedster ryoka quickly dodged the attacks of the two vizards and proceeded to change color yet again. After switching colors he shunpo’d again and due to the lack of direction in his hips, Azayaka knew he was charging straight for her and she’d immediately released the mist in her remaining flowers. In case the zangerin she simultaneously cast had been too slow, however, the male flashed away from her and to Vulcan’s side. Who had also cast the same hado at the same time as her, some might call this a “great minds” moment. While she had used mist with her 78 the male vizard used another hado to protect himself in case the first failed. The Kyoraku would repeat the name just as she heard it in case the shinigami decided to flash back to her despite the mist. Although her peer had cast it on his right to protect his weak side she cast the net in that direction because it’s where Vulcan was standing. She would have her thornmunition and/or another hado ready to protect her left.

Spoiler:

Kirou's feints were met with kidou that created shockwaves centered on his targets that seemed to be moving at near slow motion as he moved through his feints. He could see the mist forming around the flowery female vizard with her vine like sword, that had gotten dispersed along with her shock wave allowing it to spread further, though in doing so it would reduce it's potency either way Kirou, was not planning on breathing while in close proximity to her as he finished up his feints and attacks.

The only variation from his previous attacks was a slash through the net, his shadowy blade making quick work of the low level Hado before returning to his attacks. While the explosion would have slowed him in his previous forms the boosts to his strength caused it to barely phase him as he went to his cross slash on Vulcan's back and byakurai strike to Azayaka.

Assuming his attacks worked he would back off a moment, before rushing back in reappearing above Azayaka throwing Nobu down towards her, the blade splitting into twenty copies of itself that would explode on contact, causing massive amount of damage in an area around them.

While the daggers were still raining down on Azayaka, Kirou would shunpo behind Vulcan again, aiming a powerful kick right up the middle of Vulcan's legs. Should that hit strike home the poor fiery vizard would most likely find themselves completely incapacitated.

Techniques Used:

Seemingly having no trouble or being affected by his opponents Hadō, Kirou continued making his way to their position. Vulcan, instantly having noticed this, activated his layer of protection once more. Surrounding himself with fire to block whatever the Shinigami decided to throw at him, hoping his aura of fire was enough to withstand the incoming assault. Expecting the speedster to come his way no matter what, the Vizard directed the 500 flower petals around him to attack Kirou while the remaining 500 who were send out earlier would come in from behind. If everything would fail and his opponent's attacks went through, Vulcan would surely end up in a lot of pain.  

Actions taken:

Kirou had somehow been unaffected by both zangerin as well as the explosion caused by cutting through the fushibi as he continued trying to kick Azayaka in the face. Although he seemed to be holding his breath the mist would still affect his skin as his shunko had torn off his shirt. The net was still able to do its job of slowing him down as he would have to reposition himself from arm forward to leg forward after slashing through it. Though it wasn’t as long as it would’ve been had he been caught it was enough for Azayaka to realize what direction he was attacking and have her sword move to wrap around his torso, forcing his arms against his body. If this failed Azayaka would take the hit while the shinigami dashed away to attack Vulcan who was on fire again. If she was successful the shinigami would get hit with 500 flower petals from the back and 500 from the front as her peer had them on the ready. If this too failed Azayaka would shunpo away at the same time the male backed off causing him to be unable to appear above her and he would have to give chase if he wanted to complete the shadow dagger attack. Of course, a spray of thornmunition would flutter behind her as she relocated.

Spoiler:

A voice came over Kirou's radio as he went in for his attacks, calling an end to the entire operation and forcing a retreat. With a shunpo Kirou would touch down on a rooftop again, avoiding everything was sent his way. "Looks like y'all lucked out, I am being called back so I have no reason to kill you all, so I will bid you adieu" Using one of Nobu's special ability he melted into his own shadow leaving the pair of vizards alone on the tops of the roof, he didn't kill them but he kept them busy while those in charge did their things which was all he needed to do.

Vulcan witnessed the shinigami's retreat. The Vizard figured Kirou must have received an order from his higher ups, which could only mean one thing: the grand battle had come to an end. "Aw, leaving so soon? What a shame. Let's hang out again sometimes." With their enemy gone Vulcan decided to pick up where he left off, with a nap.
