 THE SHINIGAMI APPLICATION Name: Yunaka Kinoshita Real Age: 200 Phys. Age: 20 Gender: Female Personality: In many ways, Yunaka is very much like her mother. She tends to keep a cool head in most situations, and won't back down from something if she truly believes in it. She takes herself very seriously, and never undersells her capabilities, though she is quite aware of her current limits. Also like her mother, Yunaka is ambitious, with her eyes set on division captain in the future. As far as she's concerned, she's never leaned on her mother's name to accomplish anything she's achieved, instead relying on her own abilities. That being said, there are a number of differences between her and her mother. While Bashira has a temper that can erupt at a moment's notice, Yunaka is far more reserved. She also holds a far more strict view of rules, and refuses to break them in any situations where she's of her own mind. Diplomacy and tactics are also something she excels at in comparison to Bashira, believing that raw power will not achieve the desired outcome. Lacking her mother's physical strength, Yunaka does not like fighting in the least bit. Should she be pushed into such a situation, she holds whoever she's fighting in absolute contempt, more of her mother shining through as she seeks to end fights as quickly as possible, preferably through her foe relenting and surrending or retreating. CHARACTER APPEARANCE Height: 5'8"Weight: 120 soaking wet Physical Traits:  BACK-DROP History: Yunaka is the first born daughter to Captain Commander Bashira and her late husband Haru. Give. That she was the couple's first attempt at parenting, they would both admit they didn't do the best job. Regardless, Yunaka turned out fine for the most part, though much of her personality formed to compensate for her parent's shortfalls.Insistent that Yunaka not be able to use the family name to coast through life, Bashira was particularly hard on the girl, trying to mold her into an ideal citizen while also giving her the tools to stand up for herself and take what's hers. While the Captain Commander would change tactics with later children, Yunaka could arguably be considered a success. Through her academy days, she tried to use a different last name, though this deception fell apart fairly quickly. Her mother's rage would peak through whenever classmates would try to compare her to her parents, and after enough of that, she was thankfully left alone. Given her father's position in the 2nd division and constant work, her memories of Haru are mostly from her younger days. They were never particularly close, so his death never quite effected her as much as she thought it would. This has bothered her to some degree ever since, leaving her to wonder if she can really ever connect to anyone in a meaningful way. Exposition: Side Notes: THE COMBAT INFORMATION General Fighting Style: She shares her mother's sword style, and while she's quite skilled, she can't pull off many of her mother's techniques. That being said, she tends to prefer a more up close and personal style, blending in Kidou to make up for her shortcomings and relying on speed to fill any remaining gaps.Strengths: Zanjutsu, Kidou, speed Weaknesses: Reiatsu sense, strength Ability Name: Earthsense Ability Description: Yunaka is quite in tune with the earth around her. Using vibrations in the ground, she is able to sense approaching threats.
