The clouds were dark and the sky was grey as mist, the news stations called for heavy showers with strong winds. Many of the people who resided in Kagamino City decided to stay in doors, all accept one. Covered in a black cloak a lone stranger walked the streets of Kagamino city, on his back was a huge sword that seemed to be a living entity. Durza looked around to make sure the coast was clear, today was a perfect day, no one was in sight, he could finally do what he set out to do.

In his hand he clutched a dozen white roses, in the other was a very strange wooden carving, it seemed to be a celtic symbol. Howeve this was not just any symbol, it was the crest of the accursed Kell clan, the very clan that Durza once called family. How he hated them, but it was what she would have wanted. He continued to walk down the street lost in his own thoughts, his journey lead him to the Kagamino Park, he walked across the green grass as the wind started to pick up. His cloak moved in the wind and it threatend to pull his hood back.

Durza found a perfect spot, hidden behind two trees there was a small little dirt plot where no flowers grew, it was the perfect spot. Durza knelt down and stuck the wooden crest in the ground, he then placed the roses in the spot and smiled to himself. He then felt something hit his hood, he looked up and opened his hand "rain.." he said as it started to pour down. He then looked at the small grave sight and sighed, it then dawned on him that he almsot forgot one of the most important things, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small wodden mose, he smiled and layed it next to the flowers.

"It has been over 600 years" he said to him self as tears trickled down his face, today was the day that he lost his old life, and this accursed and damned existance started, the feeling was that of regret and loss, and even the crazed doll Klaus kept to himself, for he knew the importance of the day, there would be no combat on this day, and if there was he felt bad for whoever tried to mess with Durza.

"Anna... Connor..." he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, he needed to remember the good of the past, but this, this was to much to bear. Looking at the mouse he smiled and said to him self "thank you for the present Connor, it is perfect for fathers day"

"So uncomfortable..." The young boy said, pulling down his shirt. It wasn't really the shirt that was uncomfortable however. It was the thing he was wearing under the charcoal shirt and the dark navy and black pants and the black leather belt with the suede boots. They were called Gigai and this one wasn't all that fitting for the young shinigami. He'd gone through a bit of effort to acquire it, but all that work had given him this possibly defective model. Really, he couldn't help but pull and wriggle his fingers, and blink often as he was trying to, as best as he could, adjust to the feeling of being confined in the world's smallest humaniod box.

"Just don't think about it," He told himself, pulling out that unique cellphone. There was nothing to show, yet he knew that there was something here. "Impossible to pick up on even the Denreishiki can't pick up anything..." He remembered, considering just what he was looking for. His facial expression fell slightly from serious as he looked ahead, through the shadows of an alleyway, and fought sighing. Truly, it was surprising, and it was so unusual it really left no room to question. It was like a red flag was being waved in the sky, but Tataki couldn't find the humor in it. Looking up, he saw the very being he was absolutely sure he was looking for with an enormous, conspicuous weapon on his back.

It's like...He's not hiding at all. To think, something with energy that is niegh impossible to find, yet he walks around with a giant thing like that...It's just- Thinking about the situation, Tataki leaned back against the building as his back, crossed his arms, and watched the being as it walked down the streets off in the direction of the park. Tataki didn't want to wait anymore, despite having little to no information on the target or really any experience on this sort of mission. Hiding won't get me anything. Walking out of the alleyway, Tataki followed after the target at a pretty wide distance in a fashion that looked like the two were simply both headed towards the park. Tataki knew better than to mad-dog the target and he knew better than act obviously disinterested too. The best bet was to remain as casual as possible and Tataki did that by focusing on his little cellphone the most.

When Tataki reached the park, he paused. He looked up from his cell and leaned over, putting most of his weight on his left foot, as he tried to look around a few trees. He couldn't see still. However, just then, everything seem to click. Oh...I see... A memorial. By the cross[I'm assuming], it wasn't a happy one either. Something slapped Tataki on the nose, causing him to blink before looking up at the murky gray clouds above. The sound of the showers made Tataki realize it was raining before the actual wetness that clung to him. What a depressing scene... Tataki thought, his eyes slowly wandering down towards the hidden man. Tataki would walk over and with the slish-slosh of his feet walking in the now-wet grass, it was likely pretty conspicuous.

Tataki would look at the man, then the grave, and his eyes would sit there a moment. "Someone important..." Tataki murmured, his brown eyes straining to memorize the cross[again assuming]. Really, Tataki couldn't relate to this situation. Tataki had never lost anyone, in this way, and those that he knew of that died weren't close to him. He couldn't understand the feelings someone like this man, who he had before been trying to catch, was being drowned in. Those tears simply didn't make any sense. Tataki knew what it was like to be sad and miserable, however not nearly at this devastating level. However, there was that typical word that he thought to offer, as everyone did when they came upon a scene like this, "I am sorry," He would say, as if words like that from a stranger who knew nothing would really help. Really, Tataki shouldn't even be here, standing in the middle of such an important personal affair. Tataki almost didn't want to be here right now. However, Tataki did still have business.

Druza felt the presence behind him, someone had been following him this entire time. Things never really got dull in the World of the Living, Durza was quite accustomed to it now. Durza felt the giant blade lightly vibrate on his back, it seems Klaus had known about the interloper as well, Durza didn't know what to make of the man, but he was not a Hollow, he was a Shinigmai, Durza knew what they thought of Bounts, to make matters worse he was a Bount that was a member of the Divine family but Durza made it a personal goal not to harm any of the Shinigami unless they cause harm unto others.

Durza waited for the first strike, perhaps a slash? or a powerful Kido blast? But none came, maybe he would even hear the release of the Zanpaktou. Still nothing happened, it was at this moment that Durza heard the man speak, he simply said "I'm Sorry" Durza froze at that moment, his mind was rushing with emotions, he didn't know what to make of the situation. " You're apology is most certaintly accepted" His voice contained a strong Scottish accent, it quivered with sorrow but held a strong resolve. Durza slowly turned around and looked into the eyes of the Shinigami, of course his face was hidden by the black hood that accompanied the cloak "long has it been that I have heard the remorsful words from a Shinigami". This man was clearly one of honour, so Durza would give him the honour of seeing his face. Pulling back his hood all of his long purple hair streamed down his face, his face was stern and handsome and he gave the young man a nod in acceptance.

Tataki smiled slightly, happy the man wasn't insulted...However, considering Tataki's objective...That attitude would likely flip flop. Tataki realized though, by the man's well composed words, that he was intelligent and he at least, obviously, held some compassion. Maybe that would allow him to be patient enough to hear out Tataki and to, at least consider, helping Tataki. Tataki's smile faded away and left a serious, business expression.

"I have come here for a specific purpose. I was searching for beings with unusual powers that are not solely mortal. Beings like you, with a power like no other," Tataki said, crossing his arms. Tataki came here for a reason. He was following Durza for a purpose. There wasn't any better time to explain that purpose than now. "I believe you could help me find answers to questions that I have been investigating for a long time now. However, what I need from you wouldn't be any small sacrifice, but you would be completely safe. I just have to find a way to find, by any distance, a means to find others with special powers that are cloaked or very far away." He was asking Durza to participate in some sort of science experiment. That likely could swing either way, Tataki was well prepared for both. Still...Tataki was hopeful that Durza was a little more open minded than most.

Durza arched his eyebrows, what he was asking could either be considered a very heavy breach of privacy. If he was to help this man he needed at first to know his true intentions. "What you say could be highly dangerous, but if I am to help you I need to know first hand what you're intentions are to use this experiment. If it is to locate and keep tabs on innocent people I cannot help you. However if this is only a way to locate Hollows and those who are a danger, then I will accept." Durza was not so easy to sway, he had seen men with power do horrible things, and a situation like that was going on right in the Soul Society, but this man seemed to have a ring of truth, something that the Captain Commander did not have-or so he heard-. Durza would not just harm anyone he needed a very very good reason to. "Please enlighten me more on this test?"

Tataki was silent a moment, looking away as he gathered his thoughts. This person really wasn't a bad person at all. From their words, their patience, and the manner in which they composed themselves it all told Tataki that he really wasn't a bad person at all. Tataki was happy that he had taken this sort of approach to them then. Anything else would have probably made Tataki fell worse later. Still though, Tataki had gotten this far on the truth he planned to keep up this pace.

"Well, I guess it depends on the perspective," As tactfully as he could, he decided to open up with that. There was a problem and it was that Tataki couldn't adaquetely answer the main question that Durza asked. Would special beings be harmed by Durza's participation? That was likely, even if Tataki didn't wish it, due to the nature of just what Tataki was aspiring for.

"Do you know of Demons?" Tataki looked back at Durza, dark eyes staring with a slight blaze within them. Tataki was small and young, looking almost like a child himself, however he wasn't a child. Even if he hadn't gained the experience of his seniors, he was as courageous as anyone ten times his age. "Beings with special bodies and powers, traveling between realities, that possess immeasurable powers. I'm looking for these beings and to find a way to [i]understand
the nature of their powers and energy. I guess, even if that sounds innocent, it would inevitably lead to a fight against Demons and Demonic energy so, in the long run, an entire race could be threatened." Taking a well wanted exhale, Tataki paused. He didn't want to stop talking, he wanted to go on and on about all the information he studied, forged, and hypothesized. He was a medic, true and true, and most of his mindset was from a biological and spiritual standpoint, but in the end the purpose of his experiment was to find a means to completely understand the nature of Demonic energy and, most certainly, how to completely and utterly eradicate it. His eyes ever focused, he continued, "They are an ominous bunch, however, they have participated in abduction, affliction, corruption, and the disallowed consumption of our own and various souls, bad or good, for no other reasons than to satiate their own hunger. They drag souls to Hell whether or not that soul is actually supposed to go there. They are a very large danger to not only the balance of all things, but to the very safety of the beings here. Not only that...Long ago, from reports, Demons weren't all that active. They weren't beings that even meddled with affairs that transcended their own dominion. However, recently, not only have they become frequent visitors to the Human world, but traces of their existences have been found in Hueco Mundo and they assaulted a Captain of the Gotei within Soul Society. They are, for some reason or another, becoming active and the number of souls stolen is high proof of this. I need a means to understand their existences, before I could possibly find a fix to the solution, and I believe that a power like yours is exactly what would take me there. Not necessarily your abilities or your history, but the state that your power rests at. As I'm sure you are aware, you hold a power that is naturally artificial, yet completely attuned with the things around you. From what I've read, beings like you fight similar to the way we do and I think that similarity, and our differences, is what will guide me to what I am searching for." Again, he exhaled. He was talking too much, or too fast, as he had to catch his breath.

Tataki sighed once, looking down, thinking again as he replayed bits and pieces of what he said. He was really asking a lot, from someone non-affiliated, but really a situation of this magnitude would affect him too, right? Tataki knew that Bounts absorbed souls that wandered and if Demons were stealing the Bount's own food, wouldn't they worry? What then when the demons decided to drag the Bounts down into the fire too? If they were bold enough to assault a Captain then a Bount was all the less intimidating. Pressure. If Morals wouldn't tug at Durza's emotional heart, then pressure would. Durza could ignore it all he wanted too. But as the Demon's numbers were on the rise this problem would grow all the bigger.

"Honestly, I came here with the second thought to take you captive..." Tataki admitted, his palm moving to his cheek as he closed his eyes a second. Almost like he were thinking about something difficult. Tataki honestly was more shaken by Durza's compassion than anything else. Really, that had broken any and all resolve Tataki may have had to fight Durza. "But, well, I lost the motivation to do that the moment I saw you, here. I feel that you see me as an enemy, which is understandable, but I do not see you as one. I think we are both two beings that can come to some sort of compromise. I'd like to respect you at least that much," Respect. It was something Tataki gave easy to people that he thought were strong, yet human, in feeling and strength. People that weren't so caught up in the floods of reality that they lost everything that truly made them men or women. When he saw Durza, only a few minutes ago, Tataki realized that this person was truly someone that deserved respect. It didn't really matter if Durza felt the same or if Tataki was simply being naive. Tataki felt as if he could almost trust this Bount, his supposed enemy, with a lot. If he hadn't, he wouldn't have explained the inner windings of his own goals.

Durza listened well to the mans proposal and it did speak some truth " do not worry, I do not see you as an enemy for you have not given me just cause. However I have seen Demons and some are a true foul lot. Where I come from Demons plauged our clan and killed our children so I will help you. However there are a few conditions i must ask of you, I have met some demons who mean no harm to our world, we cannot simply judge the actiong of one on many, so please use this power justly"

It was at this moment that a realization dawned on Durza, "however I will only help you if you do something for me. I usually don't ask of this but you are a Shinigami and you should have access to all the Souls that inhabit the Seiretei." Durza looked back at the grave momument he had made, a look of saddness crossed his face before he looked back at Tataki. "I need you to locate someone for me"

Tataki quickly responded to the condition made by Durza, "Should a situation appear in which a Demon is genuinely good natured or not a threat to the safety of others, I could agree to that." Is what Tataki said, though in the end, Tataki wasn't aiming to make a weapon. He was aiming to make a resource. He wanted to craft something that would expose Demons for what they were, completely, and to give that to his own kind. The information would likely be used for many things, weapons especially, and weapons were meant to always be used out of the protection of others...But there was always someone who differed from the norm. If it would be used upon the innocent Demons, if such a being could even possibly exist, then that would eventually be out of Tataki's power.

Then...Came the request. Tataki felt as if the carpet had been snatched under him, causing him to fall backwards. So close. Tataki wasn't the patient sort, at all, so almost having Durza's allowance slightly urked the Shinigami. Grinding his teeth slightly, he listened to what Durza had to say. Tataki watched Durza look back at that symbol, his expression shifting from one emotion to another and it caused Tataki's own anxiousness to subside.

"I can certainly try, however, finding a needle in a haystack is a time consuming challenge, even if I hold a magnet," Tataki definitely would accept the job. If for any other reason than to help Durza. Above his own aspirations, it was indeed Tataki's job to help. Sure, this was a little on the extreme side, guiding a departed soul to the living, but still...Tataki really did want to help Durza. It was a little more than simple sympathy. Tataki thought a moment, smiling kindly.

"Perhaps, I could have it arranged that you could come to Soul Society as well. You would know the features best, right? I'm sure if I just ask the right people the right things, according to regulations, that they could offer a temporary right...under...well...and-" Tataki went from speaking, looking Durza eye to eye, from looking down, his right index bent inquisitively under his lip mumbling away about a quickly thought out plan.

"Alright, would you like to go?" Tataki would say, lightly pounding a fist into his left palm as he confirmed his plan. "We can look together for that person, sound alright?"

Durza was happy that Tataki agreed to his terms, although he felt rather bad about forcing this rather honourable Shinigami to face an ultimatum. It was a big disgrace to the code of honour that he had enforced for 600 years but this was an exception. "Allow me to give you my deepest apologize again noble Shinigami, however it would be wrong if we fulfilled my part of the deal before we set out on the real reason why we are all here". Durza was still a man of honour and he would not see his side of the bargain fulfilled first "I think it is time we set out to fully understand the developments of this test". Durza thought that if he could find a demon with this device than in the end they coudl caliobrate it to find a normal soul, but first they needed to see if it worked. "Lead the way Shinigami, this is you're experiement and I hope that I give very promising results"

"Ah, well it's fine either way," Tataki said, not really feeling used or insulted about offering to give Durza what he asked for first. It could be seen almost as payment for his upcoming services. However, Durza insisted that Tataki get his request first and, being as impatient as he was, Tataki didn't plan on arguing over it. "Quite frankly, I believe the entire experiment could be performed by a simple fight. A clash between spiritual energies...Later, a blood and tissue sample...But really, I just need to experience and memorize your spiritual energy and the spiritual particles that resonates with it." Tataki had his hand up this his lip, thoughtfully.

Tataki could fight, quite well even, though it wasn't his specialty. Tataki was all books, but he was knowledgeable enough to have made it to his position by demonstrating the right sort of wisdom and tact. So he knew better than to expect the enemy to fight full power or to think that Tataki could easily overpower him. Just a light, mellow, spar was what Tataki was asking for so that he could calculate and analyze Durza's energy. This was an experiment all about energy, after all.

"Whenever you are ready..." Naturally, the next part would require Durza to release his Doll.
