EVENT:

Okay, so there is my event idea sketched out. I know it is short, but part of that reason is simply because there are certain people who just don't read anything too large. I know the Mission Mod Event needed to be large since it is an important position, but this one is just as big/detailed as it needs to be. =]

This was one of many event ideas I've had. I know tiers should seldom be given, so this is only a possibility. Tiers do motivate people though, especially in the dull task of bringing in new members. Below is another event written out.

Another idea I had is a Cosplay Event for members to attempt to cosplay as one of their characters. It's a long-shot, but may be fun. =]

Another thing I wanted to propose was a list of prizes the Community Mods can use in their events.

The latter event is more of a game, as you can see, rather than an event. It can still help to see who is active and hopefully bring in more members when they see an active community. None of these events are big, but I hope they will work. =] I need approval on them.

Also, I wanted to propose a BS-Cash system. Perhaps there can be a shop widget, unless Forumotion doesn't offer one. If not, can't admins edit member's BS-Cash?

Perhaps if so, BS-Cash can be awarded in Events, and also be used for members to purchase upgrades for their characters. Mind you, the upgrades will be very expensive, and gaining a tier up may mean having fifty posts worth of BS-Cash or so.

What do you all think? Could this work? It may take time to sort out, but in the long run I think it will be worth it.

I think the first event is good, but I'd say the members need to get onto the active member list. Not just have a single intro post. That is my only real critique on it.

I don't really get the second event. I mean I get its purpose, but I don't understand how the winners are determined.

Implementing the BS-cash system is something I'd like to do, but don't know how. Hopefully Udarsha will see this and let us know if he can do it.

As for prizes I think titles IC would be nice prizes. For example, we hold an event where people have to beat a series of NPCs all of which are speed focused. Winners then gain speed based titles such as Yoruichi's God of Flash.

IC titles is a huge yes. ^.^

As for the second one, I forgot to put the winning points in there. :O Thanks for reminding me! The points are based off of how creatively and how well a person can debate. I based the idea off Speech and Debate class. :urharaftw:

And I agree with active members list. Is five too many members for one person or is that fair?

Creativity and how well you argued could still be pretty opinion based though. It seems a little loose for giving people techniques. Maybe the prize is a title for your character which lets them be good negotiators/debaters. People with that title could then use it to their advantage in plot events such as the arrancar 2nd event where two of the hollow kings can be persuaded to join the Espada.

Perhaps 3 active members is a bit more realistic lol

As for BS, I'd say a staff discussion first. Just because we'd need to know what we CAN do with it first before suggested what we WANT to do with it to all the members. Like I said, I don't know how to set up a store or anything so I'd want to see what Udarsha says.

Sure thing. =] Can you edit profiles and the BS-Cash? You can on Proboards, so it could be done manually. ^.^ I'll make the thread for it if you like with some opinions.

Three sounds much better. =]

And I agree with removing the technique and adding the title of debater. Perhaps they could get it by default and take one of the other prizes? Or should the title be the only thing they get, since it is a very laidback event?

As for the title and rewards, I think it should just be the title as it is a laid back thread. But, I'd like to see other staff opinions.

The events look good with the suggested changes. As for the BS cash, not sure on that one. I'd say we'd need to speak with Udar likek Duquin suggested. All in all this is very good Yuki.

-You gain 1 point for adding a friend or accepting a friend request.
-You gain 1 point for posting a message.
-You gain 3 points for creating a topic.

And it's possible to give/or decrease points from a certain user. Always giving points for a certain group. Example; Shinigami.

That's pretty much it.
Yes, Admins can give and decrease a certain members BS-cash.
