Overview – As long as it needs to be;;
Ever wanted to tier-up without hassling through In-Character events? Well, rare as it may be, here is an opportunity for you to help the site and earn a tier-up in return! The rules and directions are simple, but thoroughly read the information below.
Rules and Directions;;
To earn a tier-up through this OOC Event, you must get AT LEAST THREE people to join the site.
- You may NOT advertise on other sites and break their rules. Doing this gets an immediate disqualification. Try asking friends you know on both the internet and in real life to join. Remember not to nag. You have been warned.
- If you earn over two, but do not quite get three members, you earn the option of giving your character a new Shikai/Resurreccion/General technique. However, you may not reach five AND get the tier-up and technique. You must choose one or the other.
- When posting the profile links in the template for the members to count, they must be on the Active Member's list.
- Staff reserve the right to withhold a prize from you if rules are not followed, both event and site-wise.
- New members only count if they have joined after the event post-date. They may not be past recommended members.
- You may not make new accounts and cheat to get the tier. We will be checking. This makes others joining with your IP not count for the prize.

Okay, so there is my event idea sketched out. I know it is short, but part of that reason is simply because there are certain people who just don't read anything too large. I know the Mission Mod Event needed to be large since it is an important position, but this one is just as big/detailed as it needs to be. =]
This was one of many event ideas I've had. I know tiers should seldom be given, so this is only a possibility. Tiers do motivate people though, especially in the dull task of bringing in new members. Below is another event written out.
Another idea I had is a Cosplay Event for members to attempt to cosplay as one of their characters. It's a long-shot, but may be fun. =]
Another thing I wanted to propose was a list of prizes the Community Mods can use in their events.
- Prizes:
Custom-added emoticons/memes in our Smiley list. Admins will need to help if a member wins this. Most likely, this prize will be used for small events.
Tier-ups. Obviously for larger events.
BS-Cash. If we get a real system for this, BScash can be awarded.
New techniques for General, Personal, Shikai, Resurreccion, or Bankai, depending on the event.
Resolve drives/Plotkai.
Character slots.
Please suggest more. =] We really don't have that much to offer at the moment.

- Conversation Convention!
Instructions;;
This event is more of a 'game', rather than a stretching event. A word or topic will be dropped in the thread. It will be random, and very hard to use as a conversation tool.... unless you are creative enough! Your goal is to converse with the other members in this thread and debate the topic, argue, agree, and simply discuss the random topic at hand. After a short while, a Community Moderator will drop another discussion topic into the thread in a gradient color. From that moment on, that topic will be discussed.
Rules;;
- Be creative! If the topic is "cookies", there is much more to discuss than they are made with flour and sugar, or chocolate chip is the best.
- Aim for AT LEAST two sentences per post.
- Arguing is okay for discussion purposes. Don't let it get heated or out of control though. Just follow the site rules and respect one another.
- Have fun! This is a laidback event that doesn't really have much of a point. Because it is a game, simply have fun and aim to win.
- No spamming. You may only use ONE account.
- For anyone to win, at least five people need to have entered the event by posting.
Winning;;
Three winners will be chosen once the Event has ended. Those three members have two prizes at hand, but they must only pick one.
- A resolve drive. Want an extra resolve drive? You cannot have two at a time, as stated after the reboot, but if you don't have one to save your butt, this is a good prize to choose.
- An extra character slot.
- A new general technique for one of your characters.
The latter event is more of a game, as you can see, rather than an event. It can still help to see who is active and hopefully bring in more members when they see an active community. None of these events are big, but I hope they will work. =] I need approval on them.
Also, I wanted to propose a BS-Cash system. Perhaps there can be a shop widget, unless Forumotion doesn't offer one. If not, can't admins edit member's BS-Cash?
Perhaps if so, BS-Cash can be awarded in Events, and also be used for members to purchase upgrades for their characters. Mind you, the upgrades will be very expensive, and gaining a tier up may mean having fifty posts worth of BS-Cash or so.
What do you all think? Could this work? It may take time to sort out, but in the long run I think it will be worth it.
