Rei didn't often get to go out on the field, seeing as she ran her cabal of assassins, so she tended to limit herself to more high-importance jobs. Today was certainly important, though it wasn't particularly difficult. Some magnate had pissed off the wrong people it seemed, and he had quite the price on his head. Luckily, he was something of a lecherous old man and tended to keep a number of beautiful young women to tend to his every beck and call.
Unfortunately it made it easier than normal to slip in undetected. She walked carefully through the lavish halls to the owners room. "Breakfast, Sir" The girl would call out, entering when given permission to the stern gaze of her target. "You're late, I specifically asked for this fifteen minutes ago" He tuts, looking over the girl. "I don't recognize you... are you one of the new girls?"
She would nod, though he didn't seem convinced as he approached her, circling about as he eyed her figure. "No... I would remember someone like you" Though she was hoping for this to be a bit cleaner, the man's wandering hand moving to cop a feel would be caught. "What on earth do yo-" There would be a sickening crack as the girl would lash out with a swift stomp to his knee, bending it the wrong way as he fell to the ground. He wouldn't be able to register the pain though, as Rei drew her weapon and proceeded to paint the floor with the contents of his skull.
She would straighten her outfit before walking back out of the room and right out of the compound. By the time she had reached the front gate the alarm would be sounded, but by then she had already escaped without alerting a soul. The instructions had been to send a message after all, and now none of the man's circle of associates would feel safe. Little did Rei know, someone had been keeping tabs on her this whole time, but had not interfered with her work. What they wanted was a mystery, for now at least.
