THE SHADOWLORD APPLICATION Name: David de Grey Alias: The Shadowlord Real Age: 937 Phys. Age: 24 Gender: Male David is usually the smartest, or at least the most well-educated man in the room. While most beings who've been around for almost a thousand years have spent it practicing their combat, David's been reading. The issue is, he makes it known. David is a condescending, arrogant asshole and it's almost always valid because he's right. While he could have spent more years working on his social skills, he has the knowledge to back up anything he does talk about; if he didn't, he would simply walk away and do the research on it before he started talking. Nowadays, with the internet being so common and even David himself having a cellphone, he's easily able to attain more and more knowledge, thus making him more and more condescending. David thinks of combat as a game of chess, which makes sense given his unique skillset. He uses his knights and his queen to protect the King, who's obviously himself. David regrets every single kill he's had to make, and remembers all of their faces vividly. His sorrow and regret are the only things that weigh him down and make him more emotional than he'd like, but he's good at hiding this when he needs to. CHARACTER APPEARANCE
THE COMBAT INFORMATION General Fighting Style: David doesn't fight directly if he can avoid it, instead preferring to rely on his summoned creatures. In the event they're not enough, he'll even go as far as to manifest his book to have it fight for him, instead of fight for himself.Strengths: Reiatsu, Reiryoku Weaknesses: Strength, Durability Boosts: 4x Reiatsu, Reiryoku Cane [Equipment] A Tungsten bladed cane that David uses in emergencies for combat, but mostly uses because he feels it makes him look more eloquent. Checkmate Neither David's Summons nor his Doll can actually kill anything. They can put it in as physically weak a state as possible, but death is beyond their capabilities. Only David can kill. Stalemate If David's Summons take a Gran Rey Cero worth of damage, they turn into a semisolid orb of energy approximately the same size as the summons themselves and fall to the ground. They will resurrect after 4 posts, but if David can manage to stay within 5ft of the orb for 2 posts, it will immediately resurrect. Fool's Mate As long as David has his cane in his hand, he can throw it up to 20m away at bala speeds and teleport to it within the same post. This ability has a 4 post cooldown. Mercy [Appearance] A Raven comprised almost entirely of reishi, reiatsu, and shadows. Mercy is larger than most ravens, at approximately a 3ft wingspan, but trusts David with his life. Mercy is capable of speaking every language known to man and then some, and often translates for Justice. Mercy is 3 tiers below David. Double Check Mercy is capable of firing off up to 8 orbs of energy per post that are equivalent to hado 30 and travel at bala speeds. Mercy can aim each of these orbs indepentendly of each other when firing, but once fired he has no control over them. Justice [Appearance] A Panther comprised almost entirely of reishi, reiatsu, and shadows. Justice is about average size for a panther, stretching from his rear to his snout at 5ft long, with his tail being an additional 2.5ft. Justice is 3 tiers below David. Illegal Move Justice can morph his body to extend and alter his attacks. He is capable of shifting his body multiple times per post, but the morph happens at normal movement speed. DOLL INFORMATION Doll Name: Goliath [Released Appearance]Doll Appearance: David's Doll is simply a leather-bound book which, to anyone other than David, would appear to simply be 157 sheets of blank paper, aged and worn by time. To David himself, however, the book contains every piece of knowledge he's ever come across on pristine white paper in a limitless book that always has another page. When Summoned, David's hair turns white. Doll Personality: Goliath is a very quiet individual who doesn't talk much. If she could pull it off, she would never speak again- in fact, it simply talks to David by highlighting words in a specific order in his book and having David talk to himself. Strengths: Strength, Stamina, Endurance, Durability Weaknesses: Speed, Reiryoku, Sensing Boosts: 4x Strength, Stamina, Endurance, Durability Trigger Heart Goliath, when summoned, is called down from the skies as a meteor that crashes into the ground, dealing Hado 70 damage to everything within 20m of the impact, excluding David, Mercy, and Justice. Goliath is only capable of manifesting for a maximum of 8 posts at a time, before she needs 3 posts to recharge her power. David can dismiss Goliath within 3 posts to summon her after 1 post, or within 6 posts to summon her after 2. Promotion David can ride atop Goliath's shoulder and take direct control of Goliath, making her a much more deadly fighter. David is still vulnerable while in this position, but can teleport to Goliath's other shoulder once every 2 posts. David cannot merge with Goliath, and instead she is simply as strong as she would be if they were merged. David, however, iss not. Strongpoint Goliath releases a horizontal beam of energy from her eyes that marks the ground. After 1 post, this beam will explode with the force of a Gran Rey Cero. This ability has a 3 post cooldown. David, Mercy, and Justice are immune to this attack. Domination Goliath releases a strong laser from her eyes firing straight ahead, traveling at bala speeds and dealing Gran Rey Cero damage to everything it passes through for 20m. This ability has a 5 post cooldown. Critical Position Goliath separates her upper and lower bodies, stretching her arms all the way out and spinning rapidly around. This deals concussive and slashing force equal to that of a cero to everything that it touches, and deflects all attacks weaker than a cero away. This ability has a 3 post cooldown. David, Mercy, and Justice are immune to this attack. Castle As long as [Fool's Mate] is not on cooldown, David can instead choose to use it to teleport to Goliath's shoulder. This ability only works as long as David is within 20m of Goliath and has a clear line of sight on her. This ability has a 5 post cooldown that is shared with [Fool's Mate]. |
