Seralin

Seralin
It was clear today, something Seralin was quite glad for. She had her shop moved over to a nearby town so she could remain hidden in plain sight, seeing as the group she joined was hidden out deep in this forest. She was heading there now actually, towards the base. She needed to work out where her lab and office was going to be. As it was she had two certain 'things' watching what still had to be moved back in Karakura, safeguarding all the information about the World of the Living she had collected over the hundreds of years of her self-imposed exile.

"... is it always going to be this hot? I really hope there is central cooling, otherwise I will need to install it myse-oof!" Her rant had distracted her from potential obstacles in her path. Namely, what looked to be a young man that she bumped into, making her stumble back a bit in surprise. So close to base too, it had to be someone else in Konton. "Ah, sorry about that! I get easily sidetracked." She offers her hand, at the same time feeling for this man's Spiritual Pressure. 'I can feel that he is a Shinigami, maybe brought in by Ika?' It wasn't much compared to her own, but she was hardly a prime example. Her specialty was in her reserves, not pressure. However this young man had something about him. A potential that had yet to show itself. "My name is Seralin, I don't believe we've met before. You new?" She waits for a reply, certain he too was getting his bearings about some woman walking into him.

I'd traveled the world enough for one day, walking endlessly, but I still felt restless. So from time to time I would walk outside the reach of Konton, exploring the jungles in search for what little fresh air existed. Little did I know that on this day I'd meet an attractive woman, quite literally so. She seemed distracted, lost in thought about something, and rather than complain about it... something else just so happened to take priority. As our bodies physically connected, I muttered an "Oi..." out of habit, then stood with my mouth open, taken aback by the lovely lady standing before me. She wasn't my ideal figure, nor did I really even care about that, but seeing pretty women was not something I was used to. Her brown hair seemed to glisten and flow like water, and her eyes shimmered a hazelish gold. "Aye... sorry miss." We both apologized simultaneously, and as she reached out her hand, out of habit, mine own did as well. We shook on it, to which I felt as though a wave washing over me. Immediately after that, it were as though the wave crashed and remained steadfast, not budging an inch. That was not a feeling I could parse easily, nor could I identify it. Instead, my brain flickered through it, and I came back to, her hand still in mine.

She introduced herself as 'Seralin'. To which I could only give one response, "Me name's Kin Baird. I'm quite new here, so no I don't think we've met. I'm still trying to get used to being a shinigami, since I only recently discovered what I am and what all of this spirit nonsense is. Am thinkin' mayhaps with all these people here at Konton I'll figure it out someday and do some really interesting things. That is... as soon as I figure any real thing out."

Seems there was a reason there was so little to sense, the boy was practically a newborn in terms of being a Shinigami. She releases Kin's hand at this point, it would be awkward handholding if it kept up longer. "I see, well it is nice to meet you Kin!" If it meant anything, her smile was genuine. "Don't worry, you don't have to look further than yours truly about being a Shinigami. You see..." She leaves her gigai, revealing her old Squad 4 Captain's Haori and Shinigami garb. She catches the small cube her gigai folded up into and pockets it. "I'm a Shinigami too, been one for a long time." The more she heard, the more she wanted to teach him. He was a blank slate, and could be molded into a fantastic Shinigami one day if given the right push. "Lets talk as we move, I still need to see how much room I was given for my lab." She begins walking right for the hidden base, and had a feeling the boy would follow.

She gives him a bit to catch up before continuing. "How long have you known you were a Shinigami for, Kin?" It was hot, but being in her Shinigami form always helped. She could at least swirl her Spirit Energy close to her body to make it feel like a cool breeze was passing by. 'Damn heat...'
