Sora Sendou

Sora Sendou
Sora had never left home before. There was no conflict with the decision, just uncertainty of the outcome. His pilgrimage was beginning, but he could not embark until he faced his judgement. What am I supposed to expect? I mean, New York was demolished. I can't protect people from that kind of power. Yet! What's expected of me? Its a rather good distance. Maybe I could get some training done on the way. I could make the trek in a week at..  You want to WALK to New York? It's not an ideal method of transportation, but my powers are too unpredictable for public transportation and I dont have a bloody car.Plus, its like I said before, i need to ensure i can save people. I need to train. Sora was still very unsure of all of this, even after having to repeatedly convince himself.

Alas, after hours of contemplation, he finally drew the courage to embark. He fastened his bag, gave his farewells to his old home, and with a sigh and a sneeze, Sora was skipping his way north. He had to be sure to keep his distance from the fellow passing pedestrians. With every step, Jade, the little voice in his head, reminds him Don’t shock the strangers. Don’t shock the strangers. Don’t shock the strangers.

Pallas head just arrived in DC on his way back to Texas. He had to wait a few days till his next flight so he walked out of the airport and began to walk around the city. It had been a while since he was here so he took his time walking around. The flight here had been long and he wondered if he had to spend any more time on an airplane right now that he’d be totally stiff upon arriving home. That was why he was glad he booked his flights as he did. It would give him time for some exercise.

It was not long before he found his favorite cafe while walking. How long had it been now since he was here? He stooped just at the door and thought for a moment. It had been a good five years since he was here maybe. He was not sure. Stretching, he let out a soft yawn and slowly walked in. After ordering and receiving his favorite coffee he walked back out and began to head for a park not too far from the coffee shop. As he walked through the park he’d stop at a bench for a bit and savor some of the fresh brewed coffee he purchased and watch the other people in the park play.

Sora's stride was with ease and passion as he dodged his fellow pedestrians with gymnast precision, like he was late for the moment of his life. Never skipping a beat with every step, he would spin and pivot each obstacle that may approach his front. For any aware, such as himself, green sparks and streams of lightning would drag behind him in the wind, as he put even more intent in every step to move forward. It only took about two and a half miles of skipping none stop before Sora reached very close to his limit. Stamina was not his strong suit, but he hoped to change that by the end of this journey. However, as he was being forced to take a breather, Sora would slow his pace to preserve his energy and try to remember where that park was that should have been shortly up ahead. It couldn't be too far. he thought as he strutted the sidewalks, still trying to push himself and restrain himself at the same time.

Finally having found the park, though it was much farther than he had remembered last, Sora would wipe the sweat from his eyes and scan the area for an open bench to drop his exhausted body onto. To his demise, the park was slam packed with people walking, playing, picnicking.. It would be a shame to waste such a beautiful day Sora would conclude as he settled for a bench with a single occupant. The man sitting there seemed focused on his people watching and his coffee to-go, so Sora felt it safe and sat on the opposite side, removing his bag and downing some water, coming to a sigh of relief that his legs could now rest.
