The sun had long since set on Karakura Town, streetlights casting light upon the streets below. As Shiori peered around her perch on top of a 3 story building, she exhaled slowly in exasperation. She'd come here to investigate the disappearance of several shinigami that had been deployed to this area for one reason or another. Instead of risk another member of another division or her own, she'd opted to come out her herself and tend to the investigation personally. Her eyes scanned the streets below as she constantly tried to scan for anything out of the ordinary. Any sounds out of place, any reiatsu that didn't belong, any shinigami unauthorized to be deployed in the area, anything.
"Damn... Nothing. You'd think a place with so many disappearances would have some kind of clue. A trace of something." As far as she could tell, there wasn't a damn thing nearby, not even a hollow. Something was definitely off here, she just wished she could find a shred of evidence as to what. As someone currently working as the acting Captain of the 6th Division, it would make sense that her of all people would be able to figure something out, but the investigation was going slow. With a furrowed brow and a puff from her kiseru, Shiori decided to move on, try a different vantage point. Maybe the park nearby had something she'd somehow missed. Leaping along the rooftops, she finally came to rest on a light post near the center of the park, exhaling a bit of smoke as she took a look around.
