It was just another day where Kyousuke had nothing to do but to visit his most visited place, The nature. This time Kyousuke want something more interesting something new something he never been before. He wandered off around the Karakura town just walking until he see this place where people plays something by kicking ball from one to another."It really looks fun, I think I should watch them" Kyousuke walked through the side of the soccer field, no one should able to sense him as he was trying his best to hide his spiritual reiatsu especially the humans, but a shinigami might see him if coincidentally see him there.

While watching this he learned something from it, He thought of something different that day, something unusual.
"This ball really reminds me of myself, just following orders to those who are stronger , they can move you whatever way they want you to move, left to right up or down, they can destroy whenever they want." kyousuke stopped a little as he noticed that he was being eaten by his anger, "I should really relaxed a little and wait more, I need to train harder and get as much information as I can to destroy them." As kyousuke was watching the game, a guy from the game kicked the ball and accidentally hit another guy in the face the guy who have been hit directly in the face fell down on knees, "Just like that, yes, I'll just follow them and lead them to their knees" Kyousuke smiled and looked at the sky it was about to darken the sun is setting and the game looks it was canceled because of this, "But the difference is... whatever happens I will not give up even putting my life on the line..." Kyousuke looked at his twin zanpakuto and smiled.

Hotaru's last few days seemed like hell. After a while, he was sent back to Karakura town, where he actually has an apartment. It was really cool how the shinigami made it so that he had a paid vacation. Even so, going back to school, and then later his part time job... actually seemed like hell. Going back to being normal was so boring compared to fighting giant masked monsters. Plus now his home work was piling up.

Hotaru was walking home from work, in his school clothes smelling of grease. He wasn't a fry cook, but he had to visit the cookers frequently. To get a bit of RnR before returning and actually doing homework like a real honest civilian would, Hotaru decided to visit the soccer field and get a little distraction by beating a few middle school kids at their own game.

While initially intending on playing a game of kick ball, Hotaru noticed something others of his kind may not have- a shinigami. But what could one be doing in such a place? Was he the guy sent to watch the place? It seemed likely, but at the same time, not so much, as he was only standing by casually, watching some kids play. Quickly, he ran to a nearby bush, and lied down. Hopefully a cat wouldn't come around and pee on his body. Then, using his shinigami badge, Hotaru went into his soul reaper state. He looked at the man again, saying "hey you there. Shouldn't you be doing your job?"

Kyousuke while watching the game end, a shinigami popped out of nowhere. He wasn't very sure how did the shinigami saw him, maybe he was patrolling or much worser he was sent by Chiba,12th division captain, to find kyousuke. "But the way he ask it seems like he accidentally saw me." He thought to himself looking at the shinigami."Shouldn't I doing my work? As a shinigami ? killing hollows all day? following orders to those above? Well you know that's very tiring, Im only here to relax and I just happen to see you? By the way my name is Kyousuke Yuuki. How bout you? I haven't seen you in Soul Society or in any squad?" kyousuke asked the guy in front of him.

Hotaru laughed. "That's nice," Hotaru said, only to mutter the words "lazy ass" right after. Again, he laughed. Finally, a spiritual being that didn't try to kill him in five minutes of their meeting. Responding to the shinigami's question, Hotaru pulled out his substitute badge. "You see this?" Hotaru pointed at his badge. "This is my substitute shinigami badge. You see, I'm actually mostly human."

Hotaru was at least a little human- though, one could say the same thing about the hollows, and they're not too human at all.

"substitute shinigami you say?" Kyousuke asked while looking closely to the badge the shinigami showed, "Interesting, so you are only following what the soul society says? purify hollows? send soul to the soul society?" Kyousuke asked and smiled at the shinigami, he felt nice when he heard this shinigami was not in soul society. "and by the way? you haven't tell me your name, substitute shinigami." he removed his focus to the badge of the shinigami and thinking that he haven't seen that badge before in personal only in books and records in the library.

Hotaru tilted his head and squinted his eye in a quizical manner. He then bowed ninety degrees and said, "I am Amari Hotaru. My friends usually call me Hota-kun. I don't know you, so just call me Amari-kun. Honorifics are important, am I right?" Hotaru wasn't usually the respectable guy- he lived in a studio apartment, which was almost as bad as homeless.

When the shinigami, Kyuusuke spoke, Hotaru smirked again, saying "Yep. Substitute," he laughed. "Purifying hollows is what I do, not just for the soul society though. You see, as a kid, I was a spiritual medium, meaning I could see ghosts. I didn't know it at first, but I at least knew I was special in some way. Long story short, a hollow ate my parents". Hotaru cut his story short, giving Kyuusuke only the bare minimum, as abridged as possible version. He didn't want anyone to know that he was in fact that hollow who killed his own parents.

Kyousuke's eyes widened as he heard the story of Hotaru's parent, "Hollows...." Kyousuke looked away and turned away and closed his eyes "I really don't know what exactly happen but fragments are returning slowly. One time when I was alone in the forest also here in the human world.." Kyousuke opened his eyes and looked above the sky the sun had already set and the moon begins to rise, kyousuke took a deep breath and continued his story "... I happen to remember almost all my past, as a human of course. I remember the day that incident happen when i just suddenly heard a loud thoud..." Kyousuke turned his attention back to the shinigami "... this loud thoud was actually the footsteps of a large hollow coming near me and that time i didn't have any idea that it was a hollow, in fact I don't know that there was things like hollow. Continuing the story, i looked outside the window and suddenly the walls are broken..." Kyousuke stopped and put his hands into his eyes "... damn i can't remember next thing.. Im sorry i was too dramatic... " kyousuke sighed and looked at the moon shining brightly in the sky.

"Hmm", Hotaru listened to Kyuusuke's story attentively, responding with, "that's pretty interesting. It looks like we both have similar stories. Maybe it was the same hollow that killed our parents?" Hotaru was pretty sure this wasn't true, after all, he was the hollow who killed his parents. Maybe his words were more true than he would wish for.

Sticking to the same train of thought might make something happen- a factor which Hotaru didn't favor. Knowing this, he decided to change the subject. "So, your zanpakuto. What does he do?" Hotaru asked. He then untied his own zanpakuto from his belt, showing its polished black sheath, well ornamented gold ring shaped tsuba decorated tear drop shapes around its circumference, and long cloth wrapped hilt, ending in a dull metal.

Hotaru started, "this is my zanpakuto. His name is Namidasuke, or at least it's what he tells me and what I call him when I go to his world- or maybe my world. The powers that I borrow from him are..." Hotaru paused a bit trying to think about how to describe his own abilities. He then continued, saying "they're a bit hard to explain".

"I won't be saying that was the same hollow, I know they aren't but... still " Kyousuke stopped and then Hotaru changed the subject and explained his zanpakuto a little. "I can understand that it is very hard, well this is my zanpakuto..." Kyousuke sheated his one sword, "Well as you can see, not all shinigami have this kind of ability, this is shiroi, Kuroi. A twin zanpakuto" Kyousuke sheated the other one. "But since i can't also explain my zanpakuto ability, I can show you and show me yours. But don't worry this will be a friendly spar. " kyousuke smiled "I'm going shikai , so I can show you mine" Kyousuke released his shikai and the two sword turned into a twin Katar, the two Katar's color are inverted one black and the other white. "I can say , i like how my zanpakuto released."

Hotaru began to remark on how Kyuusuke could have twin zanpakuto. "Wow, you must be special. I guess it's high spiritual energy?" He then began to ponder about his next spar. It was after work, and so Hotaru was a bit tired, not feeling much like actually fighting, but it seemed like a good way to show off. Hopefully, neither of them would have to die.

Being tired as he was, Hotaru wasn't going to release his shikai, not without at least a little warm up. "Alright, you can go ahead, I feel a bit out of practice, so I'll just keep it in its sealed state for now", Hotaru declared, unsheathing his zanpakuto. The blade was fairly unremarkable- as in, there's nothing about it one couldn't see in any other normal sword. An straight thin fissure ran through the back of the blade on both sides. A slight groove was near the edge, no more than finger's length. The tip was of course curved, and the blade itself curved, and much less subtly around nine inches off the tip.

Hotaru threw the sheath to the ground, knowing he wouldn't need it. He then took a few paces back, and held his sword in both hands, the right one in front, about an inch from the hand guard, the left near the hilt's butt. The blade's edge was pointed toward kyuusuke. "Alright, get read." Hotaru took a neutral stance, with his legs about shoulder's length apart. His body was ready.
