Erida Seika
NPC TEMPLATE Name: Fujicho, Ayame Alias: The Little Iris, "Sapphire" Age: 88 years old Age of Appearance: 17-19 Gender: Female Race/Species: Shinigami Character Alignment: Lawful Neutral Appearance: Her among her most notable and distinguishing traits, in terms of appearance, is her long, charcoal black-colored hair, that seems to be of a more dark bluish-green shade, depending on the lighting - it's worth of noting, that Ayame wears a white headband, which she rarely, if at all, takes off. She appears in her late teenager years, or around early post-adolescence; she has somewhat thin built, a rather pale complexion and she's of an average height for her physical age. Her eyes are of a sapphire blue colorization, though they might appear more closer to indigo blue, thus explaining her nickname, "Sapphire". She takes the face claim of Fuyumi Irisu from Hyouka, and wears a regular shihakusho; while in Gigai, she prefers to wear a school uniform. Personality: Though Ayame can be considered as an okay person, by those, who really know her (her squad-mates and Mei), she generally comes off as a cold-hearted bitch. While mostly respectful around anyone she doesn't absolutely despise, she can come off as cynical, judging and distrusting of other people, partially due to her choice of profession. If you manage to keep on her good side, you'll find her bearable and even somewhat nice - however, should you fall on her bad side, she can be really nasty. As a friend, she is not particularly nice or kind to you; however, she is fiercely loyal to the end, as well as almost obsessively protective - traits, that one could treasure in their friends. There's a reason, why she was accepted to the Division 3, years ago. Ayame is a master at keeping secrets, manipulating others to do things for her, picking out the truth and telling lies - she surely fits in as an interrogator. More remorseless, fearless and ruthless than her girly appearance suggests, she is not above torturing someone to force them to reveal what she wants to know - more than once, has she gotten innocent blood on her hands, due to her faithfulness to shinigami. Indeed, she is a very loyal soldier, and a valuable piece in the eyes of her superiors; especially her unique ability of analyzing other people and herself. Ayame categorizes and makes a note of everything, to a point of severe self-criticism or overly bluntness. She can tell when someone is lying, and is particularly interested in figuring out what drives a person and what they believe in, for she sees faith, goals and one's beliefs as the most critical information. She absolutely resents Eliyah, because of what he did to Mei. Background: She was born in a small village in a district close to Seireitei, so hollows and criminals almost never disturbed their life, outside rumors. Ayame, the only child of her family, was named after the iris, which was the favorite flower of her father, and which bloomed most greatly on the month she was born. It was a symbol of blue blood, her mother had always said; the iris flower was the princess of the royal family of plants, the woman would say, and that was why she was their little princess. She was supposed to have the perfect life - after all, both of her parents loved her greatly, they lived in a good place and weren't exactly poor, when compared to the people of outer districts. And her childhood was enjoyable, until she started to realize, that her father was never there. He was a shinigami, and always on duty. Ayame had learnt to interpret her mother's smile as a sign of happiness, but later on, came to realize, that beneath her smile, she was crying. Occasionally, she would wonder why would her father make her mother cry, but he still was the sun of her life, someone she looked up to above everyone else. She knew that her father was doing important, and never asked why he couldn't just stay with them, so her mother wouldn't cry. They, at best, only met twice in a month, but it didn't stop Ayame waiting for the day he would come back; in fact, as soon as he was gone, she spent the weeks thinking what they would do next time he was visiting. Those few days in a month, she could see a real smile on her mother's face - and the reason for her sadness became apparent, as it left the house with her father. But sometimes he couldn't make it home. It had been months since he had been with them, and Ayame had been impatiently for her father in the porch; it was dark and raining, and her mother had told her to get inside, but she didn't obey. He had promised to be home today. And then, right when her mother was about to yell on the girl, a figure of man appeared on the road, running towards their house. Ayame was thrilled; she can vividly remember how she yelled her father's name and began running towards the figure, only to recognize the figure as one of his father's friends. The man wore a concerned, apologetic expression on his face, when he asked the little girl, if her mother was home - she had nodded, confused. Had his father sent his friend to say, that he was going to be late today? Her mother had appeared on the door, inviting her husband's friend inside; he told the woman, that he had bad news about her husband, and she led him to the living room. Ayame was still outside, sitting on the porch and staring at the road, waiting for her father to return from his mission. She heard her mother breaking down, crying hysterically and screaming, the man's attempts to comfort her - the little girl had realized what the man had told her mother, but refused to listen to her own thoughts, and stubbornly glared at the rainy road. Eventually, the shinigami left, when her mother had calmed down, and gave the little girl one final apologize on the porch. Ayame stood up and went inside, finding her mother sitting in the living room, her face covered by her hands, and her father's shinigami badge next to her. For the next weeks, their life was silent. Ayame felt so guilty, for making her mother cry even more, when her daughter told her, that she was going to Shinigami Academy, in order to follow her father's footsteps, only a month after his passing; she had been treasuring the thought, since she was old enough to understand what her father did. It wasn't just about her desire to be like her father - it was a matter of the family's honor and income. She left her home village, to become a shinigami in the Academy. On her fourth year, 44 years ago, she met Mei; a girl with purple eyes, who had the same ambition as she had. The girl felt lonely, because the boy she cared about (the boy, whom she had loved for her entire life) had graduated early, and Ayame took it on herself to cheer her up. They ended up becoming friends, and the little iris joined her group of friends; she might not have been as connected as Mei was with her other three friends, but despite the lack of a mental link between them, she would eventually become the best friend of the purple-eyed. They would graduate together, which was when the sapphire-eyed shinigami met Eliyah, the boy, who her best friend was in love with - though, in Ayame's eyes, he didn't deserve her. She, among many other factors, was one of the reasons for the distance born between the two. Being an example shinigami, the sapphire-eyed was offered a position in Division 1, which she politely declined. Ayame joined Division 3 instead, since it was the squad, that her father had worked as well, and meet a surprising amount of her father's old friends, whom told her how much she was like her father, who always succeeded to cheer everyone up. Even though Mei would join Division 5, the best friends are still very much in touch and meet regularly. Intended Role: In terms of ranking, she'd be around Eight Seat of Division 3, and her tier assignment would be 3-3. However, she's a NPC involved in a personal plot, and thus, if you want to use this NPC for some other reason, you need expression from the author. Her bankai will be earned off-screen. Personal Abilities: Name: Psychokinesis [念力, "Nenriki"] Effect: Ayame is among the most powerful psychics, that Eliyah has encountered in his life. Much like he and his friends, she is able to establish a two-way telepathic link with those, whom she makes eye contact with, in addition to her powerful psychokinesis, that allows her influence the world around her. At the first glance, it doesn't seem to be an impressive ability; she can lift smaller objects, push others away from her, as pull people towards her. With concentration levitating herself and others is also realistic, as is redirecting the course of a few, small projectiles. However, this ability is enhanced as she gains power, and as a shinigami, this means her shikai and bankai releases will boost it. When she releases her zanpakuto, her psychokinesis is greatly empowered. She can now throw people-sized objects around as she wishes, bind others to their place, levitate at will and crush others under the force of a telekinetic blast. When Ayame enters her bankai, this ability is brought to it's apex, and the world around her is practically subject to her whims - buildings can be made collapse at will, cars can be propelled at an opponent with high speed and a target could be choked to death simply by raising one's hand at a foe. Shikai Name: Climax, Itadaki! [頂, "Apex"] Shikai Ability: Name: Freezing Apex Effect: The ability of Ayame's zanpakuto was born out of a fight with a hollow - more specifically, the refusal to be bested by a beast and the coldness she was willing to take into her heart to destroy it. From these feelings, was shaped a sword, that gave her the power to reach the very apex of an ice-based zanpakuto: the point of absolute zero. In this state, nothing about her sword, or her, seems to be different, save for the black-and-steel colored edge of the weapon, that is the trademark of released shikai. However, upon touch with her sword, you will find that it freezes anything - and with this phrase, I mean, anything - that it comes in contact with. And so does it's wielder. As she walks the battlefield, the ground beneath her feet will rapidly freeze over, and nearby sources of water do not require anything but the sheer presence of her zanpakuto. The cuts of her zanpakuto freeze the wound from inside out, and while ensuring, that the opponent doesn't die of blood loss, the process is painful. Bankai Name: Amesoko [天底, "Nadir"] Bankai Ability: Name: Nadir Unfrozen Effect: A last resort, the ending point of any battle, Ayame's bankai is to die for. With a whispering voice, she calls upon the spirit of her zanpakuto, and in return for the power of those words... she offers up her body. As in literally, her soul is temporary absorbed into her blade, in order for her body to act as a physical vessel for her zanpakuto spirit - a demon of cold, cruel winter, a goddess of glacier and blizzard. Whereas her shikai does not give a change to her appearance, her skin will now turn white in color, her eyes will become icy blue and her clothing changes into an outfit suitable for the queen of eternal winter. Not only her body now emits hazardous temperature on touch, but everything within hundred feet from her figure, will experience a slow, icy death, which's dark presence can be felt from afar. In addition, it has a vast arsenal of techniques, that all trace their back to it's cryokinesis, and an influence, that makes opponents lost their hope against her beauty. As soon as Ayame gives her body to the use of the spirit of her fearsome Bankai, the opponent is faced by a different enemy - one, that feels nothing, and aims to death of all around her. She has minimal control of the spirit's actions in this form, and practically, can only deactivate her murderous Bankai once her original opponent is dead. This means any bystanders, who are stupid enough to stay back, will also lose their lives - a friend or a foe. Should she be killed in this form, she will not die, but experience a fate worse than death - eternal imprisonment in the zanpakuto, that will be the only remaining part of her, after the goddess breaks into shards of ice. |
