PROLOGUE

There is no life outside this world of ours, a voice whispers in the crowd, that is completely silent. But the voice is cracking with a lie, the kind of a lie you tell to yourself, when you don't want to believe what is in front of you to be real. The speaker, like all the people in the crowd, had diligently contributed to the facts of science, that they had favored, only to see them now crushed by the appearance of the largest spatial vortex, and a gigantic, organic spacecraft, that had emerged from it. The entirety of Seireitei is a witness to the Day of Contingency - the day, that would change all of the days to come. As the vortex ceases to exist, a laugh is heard from the above, and as the colossal entity opens it's mouth, revealing a man, who was as dazzled by the sight in front of him as this world was. Oleg, a shinigami from another universe, had succeeded in crossing the veil between parallel worlds, marking the beginning of a new era in the vast cluster of universes.

CHAPTER I
- winds of a revolution -

Act I - The Foundation Stones:

It's the year of 2015, and ominous winds are blowing over the worlds. As the trees prepare for the winter in Tokyo, colors of orange, red and gold decorate every corner of the peaceful city. It has been nearly a month, since the events of August 6th and Aizen's desertion, but Ichigo and his friends are having hard time to adjust back to their lives. The messengers of an apocalypse are already knocking on the door of Karakura Town, promising of the otherworldly war and bloodshed, with the silence of the Soul Society not comforting their fears and doubts. The shinigami, who were left paralyzed by the venomous conspiracy of the ex-captains, are now mobilizing and preparing their soldiers for a great battle - most of the academy students have been graduated early, even the retired military personal have been ordered to return to duty, and volunteers are being sought from the Rukongai. Dying to exterminate great evil. The words of captain commander last spoken a thousand years ago are now being revived. What is to come seems despairing.

It is then, when the great, purple light appears in the skies, within the barrier around Seireitei, where all dimensional travel should be rendered useless. Dread is turned into joy and hope, as the dark vortex reveals a new ally and another universe itself. The shinigami learn of the worlds, that are within the reach of one's hand - how they are breathing the same air and feeling the same warmth of sun on their skin, yet unable to pass through the thin veil separating the universe from another. They learnt of history not shared, technology absurdly developed in their eyes and different customs of the new-found sibling of their world. A committee was chosen from both sides of the veil between universes, to discuss the foundation of an alliance and co-existence. The balance must be restored, and the villains had to be slain. The opportunities and a promise of a brighter future led the negotiations between the worlds. Whispers of a revolution. Foundations of a friendship.

A beginning of a new era and an alliance, that transcends all others.

Act II - The Burnt Offerings:

A true darkness lurks in the land of death and desolation. As an usurper from the West rises to power and sacks the ancient, prosperous kingdom of the North, the fate of all hollows and arrancar, who call the barren land a home, is endangered. A fearsome, blood-thirsty king, calling himself the "Blood Wraith" spreads fear and destruction around the desert indiscriminately. From the ashes of the kingdom of North, a lost king has gathered a small, but formidable militia around him, to serve as his means of vengeance against the Blood Wraith. A war between the two kings is closing in, and it seems, that the outcome will dictate the fate of the entire white desert of the hollow species. All and every civilization is at stake in this war.

When the Blood Wraith launches an attack to the region of South and murders it's lord in cold blood, the militia, now carrying the name of Espada, is forced to plea for their natural enemies for aid. Knowing his militia wouldn't stand a chance against the army of the usurper, the lost king has made a temporary alliance with the shinigami - and with their respective forces joined together, the Espada march to the South, to confront and bring the Blood Wraith into what they see is justice. However, the night is painted in blood and only with a painful sacrifice, can the Blood Wraith be vanquished. The variables, that are capable of turning the course of events at a moment's notice, are floating around the battlefield ominously, in the eyes of a fatalist.

However, the bloodbath, that follows, is only the beginning of the real war. In the shadows, there lurks forces much more evil and unconcerned about justice or peace, just waiting for the right moment to reach out to the unhallowed treasures in the Blood Wraith's possession. The kings and queens, whose names have been long forgotten, are burning their last offerings to the image of the first of them all. A malicious prayer is drowned into the war cries of the ignorant and idealistic Espada and the greedy Blood Wraith.

They will all fall. One by one, false king after another, as promised.

Act III - Delicious Dissonance:

In the beginning, there was a young boy, ostracized by everyone around him for his abnormal qualities, a vision of greatness - and a knife. Rumors of him have been around, since the 1998, when a teenager allegedly murdered the oyabun of Yamaguchi-gumi and took his place on the top of the organized crime in Japan. Now, in the 2015, the man has built himself an empire, crushed all competition standing in his way and replaced the petty, fragile humans with other supernatural beings, who, like him, stand on the wrong side of the law. Most of the darkbringers and bounts in Tokyo kneel to him and work under his orders, and in turn, he grants them freedom to rave and rampage in the city, that he holds under his tight grip.

However, no crown comes without enemies.

A secret division of the government, Supernatural Affairs Department (SAD), was formed in the 1961, in response to the destruction caused by the Great Hollow Incident. It serves a single purpose - to monitor, hunt down and cover up supernatural activity in the country. Comprised of spiritually-aware humans, fullbringers and quincies, the organization answers directly to the prime minister of Japana. With the rise of the new, supernatural Yakuza, the department has their hands full with incidents and strange occurrences desperately in need of being hidden from the public. Not all members of this division have the best intentions, however - some are out there to exploit the situation and twist it into their own ends. A new race has begun, a war on crime and a struggle between the gray moral of each side.

Will the good guys bring the end to this delicious dissonance?

THE PLOT FAQ:

What do Alpha and Delta stand for?

The two parallel universe, with Alpha standing for the "fanon" universe and Delta for the canon universe. Here in Bleach Story, we have an unique dual plot, where the  universe we've seen in the series, and the universe of our making are both available for roleplay. In the beginning of our plot, they're conjoined by a portal in the veil, that separates the different universes.

But what does this mean, practically? It means, that you can play both canon and original characters, and that these two types of characters can interact with each other. It means, that we have always multiple plots, one for the canon universe and one for the alternate universe - the events seen in the series will certainly be changed by the discovery of a parallel universe. It means, that you will have twice the opportunity to plot with other people!

The Act I occurs before Act II, right?

No, and we're sorry for not finding it a more suitable, less deceiving name. Each chapter has two to four "acts", all of which are happening simultaneously within the current chapter of the plot - they are in linear order only for aesthetics. However, Chapter II would indeed occur after Chapter I, and so on.

Isn't Bleach set on 2001?

Yes, the series takes place between the years 2001 and 2003. However, here in Bleach Story we have decided to alter the timeline so, that the setting is the year 2015, and not 2001. As you can see from the timeline, some historical dates have gained a few years as well - to put it simple, the history and the timeline has a gain of fourteen years on our site.

Does the "Canon Plot" start from the Quincy arc?

No. As you can see from the timeline and the plot, we are set in the beginning of the Arrancar arc in terms of canon universe, which is when the parallel universes discover each other. In other words, it has been nearly a month since the events of Rukia's execution day and Aizen's desertion. To answer your question more thoroughly, the Quincy arc will not likely occur due to a slight change to the historical dates. The war between quincies and shinigami was fought in the 12th century, meaning that the Kaiser Gesang's prophecy is set to happen in the 22nd century, and not in the 21st century. Yhwach has regained his heart and body, but has yet to regain his intellect or powers. But then... does this mean Masaki never died?

Unfortunately no. Auswählen was still performed on 2009, in order to bind Yhwach's soul to his physical body, rather than to return his powers to him. As a result, Masaki Kurosaki died by the hand of Grand Fisher, and Kanae Katagiri fell into coma and died 3 months later. This means, that Yhwach isn't relevant to our plot right now. In addition, Ichigo's quincy powers will remain sealed.

Can my character be original and from the canon universe?

Yes, though this will require some permissions and a good understanding of the lore. If you have a similar question, ie. what character types are allowed and what are not, you should refer to the Bans & Wants guide for more details. Simply put, original characters can be born in the canon universe as well, but there is some restrictions and guidelines, that you need to read before you create one. Feel free to PM us if you have questions!

Did Bount Invasion already happen in the Canon Plot?

No. None of the filler arcs, that exist only in the anime, have occurred nor is their history listed as canon - no characters, that only appear in the said arcs, are allowed to be created and played, unless the staff decides to use them in a sub-plot. As you can see, Bount are a playable species in our site, but only in the alternate universe - it can be presumed, that no one is the canon universe knows what they are, as they do not exist there.

Here's the promised plot suggestion. This is not to be posted as it is, so don't get ahead of time!

Basically, the Foundation Stones arc would focus on the discovery of the two universes, as well as the events of Arrancar arc, up to the kidnapping of Orihime. The arc following it will be in the Chapter II, which deals with the Visored Crisis in the fanon universe, and Invasion of Hueco Mundo in the canon universe. After that, the Chapter III would include War of Karakura Town in canon universe and the unknown revelation (probably Togabito) in the fanon universe.

Then, the Burnt Offerings arc will deal with the aftermath of Karasu's castle and the real war begins in Hueco Mundo. Shinigami are likely retreating on the orders of captain commander (as they do not afford to lose any more soldiers), and Katherine and Seach (Nox Xorik) step into the picture. The Heart of Darkness would be the main focus of this plot, and the arc will end, when it's captured. The factions include Legion de la Rosa, remnants of Ejercito de la Sangre, Espada and Nox Xorik. The last lines in the plot description refer to what I have visualized for the following arc. We've already spoken about Hueco Mundo being ruled by a single king who unified the desert and created the crescent moon to light up the endless night in the pre-history of the world with Izuna. The "forgotten kings and queens" do not refer to Graven, Seach or Katherine, but to the unknown forces at play, waiting to get their hands on the Heart of Darkness to resurrect the first king. If he was to return, he would certainly become the antagonist of the Hueco Mundo plot.

The Delicious Dissonance arc is pretty much explained above.

Adding potential sub-plots here as well. They will take place between the Chapters, and are not as long as an ordinary plot would be.

- 1. Our version of the Zanpakuto Rebellion. Instead of what we see in the anime, we should make a mission-type of sub-plot, where a group of shinigami (both alternate and canon universes) is tasked with preventing a dangerous shinigami (Koga Kuchiki) from being released from his prison by his zanpakuto (Muramasa), which has the ability to manifest the zanpakuto spirits of shinigami and turn them against their opponents.

- 2. A sub-plot (similarly a single event) based in the past. There would be a separate for the canon and alternate universes, and we could chose an event not really explored in the series - instead of a Turn Back the Pendulum arc which deals with the Hollowfication Incident, we could call it Memories in the Rain and set it in another point of the history.

- 3. A sub-plot based in the future! We have to do this, because I have so, so much ideas for this. This could be a longer one, depending on how it goes. Anyways, it could be set between Chapter I and Chapter II, and it would deal with a 'what if' world, where Ichigo fails to defeat Aizen. No application or a character is needed to play in this sub-plot, as you only need to sign up for a canon you want to play in the post-apocalyptic universe, and describe how they have changed in the 100 years. If this seems interesting, I can share more of my ideas.

Love it. My ideas for sub-plots....

- A mysterious entity who is capable of creating an illusion so powerful that he can entrap entire civilisations in his illusions, however it has no malicious intent, it only desires entertainment and as such it begins creating "what if" events where it changes variables and other things like spiritual beings don't exist and everyone is trapped in an illusion so real they believe they are humans living a normal life (so being students, working etc although this would probably be more of a character development and social plot instead of the combat plot), but without any knowledge of their real lives and more. I still have plenty of ideas for the entity I am dubbing "The Gamemaker"

- The Mod Soul Rebellion arc, where Inaba creates a clone of himself to attempt to conquer the Alpha Universe as well as the Delta Universe, it then becomes a fight to defeat the powerful reigai army he creates.

- Most of my others revolve around my first one although if you want them I can list them.

There's some threads like the Truth Spell, where a group of supernatural arrive in an area, where all spiritual energy ceases to that of a normal human. Maybe we could establish these incidents in the past, and the Gamemaker is behind them. Instead of illusion, he could warp reality to his heart's desire, but the effects would be only temporarily - a trickster sort of person in the universe?

Mod Soul arc is perfect. We should change it somewhat as well in terms of historical details - ie. when Kageroza studied Dangai, he found a crack in the veil between the parallel universes, and began to plot the conquer of both worlds. This way, he could have cloned captains from both universes. Characters like Kageroza, Yushima and Nozomi should be staff NPCs, as they are set for a demise in the end of the sub-plot. This applies to important characters of all other sub-plots, like Muramasa and Koga Kuchiki, etc.

What are your thoughts on excluding Yhwach and Quincy Blood War from the canon. Personally, I would prefer not to make them, as it kind of ruined Bleach completely. We could have our own quincy plot in the Chapter II or III, as there is space for an arc in the World of Living? Or idk.

Most importantly, I am adding that all sub-plots and future arcs are to remain super secret from the public. It's kind of silly to reveal everything like Luke did with his plot. We should keep the future arcs somewhat open until these first arcs come to an end, because we will never know what might happen, that will change the courses of plot. Sub-plots contribute to this, as they give us a period of time to prepare for the next arcs!

Very nice indeed.

---You have to be careful with something like the Gamemaker. What would they be and how did they come about such power? Remember, Aizen literally didn't have to lose any fight, that's how broken Kyoka Suigetsu was. Just to avoid having some kind of uber-powerful bystander when plots roll around, because that kind of stuff can be frustrating (people can make as many excuses for the Royal Guard not intervening in the sack of Soul Society - in the end it was just poor writing)

---Yhwach is usable so long as you tone him down. On the whole he was fine until 'every death benefits me lol'. Just keep his Eyes closed as a restriction, or find a reason for why he can't use the Almighty.

---Plots should be guidance and not set in stone. We should have our own vision that we can steer the plot down, especially if everyone is content to go that way, and we shouldn't reveal this. However, if the members push it in a different direction (e.g. they can think of a good reason why a key event doesn't happen by banding together in a thread and RP'ing well) then all the better, really. If people see what they do actually has good influence around the site, they will be all the happier to RP.

I totally agree with your last point, Saelien. That's why the above plot suggestion is written like a premise (no events of the plot are mentioned) - as according to Izuna's plot system, the plots will be largely based on in-character development, instead of events.
