Kaede found himself in a darkened hallway, light filtering through on one end, the other just ran further into the darkness. With no where else to go Kaede just shrugged and went towards the light. As the red haired captain of squad 4 emerged from the tunnel he found himself in a large roman style arena, raised walls and flat hard packed dirt pretty much as far as his eye could see, their was a loud clinking noise as a barred door slammed down behind him, followed by the sound of grinding rock as the wall just closed over it.

As Kaede's rose colored eyes adjusted to the brightness of the ring he could make out three other figures, two of them he recognized from the Gotei, one of which he was quite familiar with, the pink haired green eyed head of squad 2, Sakura. The other, a silver haired young woman he had seen around, not that he could think of her name. The last person was someone he had never seen before, a white haired red eyed young man, who felt vaguely of hollow, but not like an arrancar or hollow, far more human than that.

She'd been in here before, at least it felt like it. Brushing the pink hair out of her eyes as they readjusted to the bright stadium lights, she looked around to get a feel for her arena. It was almost identical to her last visit to this area, when she had fought against her now partner. Glancing over towards him, she nodded once, then looked to their foes' area, closing her eyes. She prepared to fight, though didn't start anything until everyone had shown up. Sakura Senba, Captain of Division 2, kept her eyes closed while she used her other senses to get a feel for everyone's power, keeping her own as restricted as she could.
