Thor Blerster

Thor Blerster
A large Garganta would crack open just below the layer of clouds high above the Victoria desert as a large man would appear out from the darkness - this was none other than the Tercera Espada, Thor Blerster. Scanning the seemingly endless desert with his light blue eyes, the man would take a deep breath, only to exhale slowly. The scene before him was nothing new to him - in fact, it felt just like home. Two barren deserts, devoid of life...though just barely. Cracking his neck, left then right, the Arrancar would tun towards the Vizard, only to mutter two words, "let's play."

Sonoido'ing down to the earth in an instant, the Arrancar would proceed to take his sword from the scabbard, grabbing it by the chain connected to the hilt, he would spin it. "Well, Vulcan, shall we begin?"

Having arrived at the Victoria Desert the Vizard would appear out of the large Garganta before setting foot on the earth below. With it being only the two of them out in the open it seemed like Thor had picked quite the spot for their spar. No one around to disturb them or get caught in what would soon be following. Now completely recovered from the alcohol and smoke Vulcan shook his body to get rid of any remaining effects that could possible linger around. By now he would be facing the Arrancar who had already taken his sword from its scabbard, indicating he was more than ready to begin their spar.

The Vizard, carrying his Zanpakuto on his right hip, placed his thumb on the hilt before unsheating Moeru Hanaken. "After you my friend."

Extending his arm outwards, the arrancar would throw his sword, aiming it at the Vizard. Regardless of how the man dealt with the said attack, Thor would burst into a Sonido; appearing to the mans left, he would aim a kick to side of the vizard's leg, hoping to immobilize him. The arrancar would then follow it by a jab to the vizards jaw. Imagine a speeding bullet train hitting a person in middle of the track - that was what Vulcan was going to undergo if the punch connected with him. However, the arrancar would purposely restrain himself to the max, not putting too much speed and power into his attacks. Why? He had no intention killing his friend or putting him into a deep coma.

All kinds of different scenarios had played out in Vulcan's mind. The Vizard was the type of fighter who tried to win a fight before it even started. And this time would be no different. He noticed how the Arrancar extended his sword before throwing it at Vulcan in an attempt to hit him. Only a fool would remain still so of course he already decided to dodge. Vulcan figured since Thor threw his sword his next move would be to close the distance between the two of them which meant he had to pick which side to go with.

The Vizard gambled and expected it to be his own left side since it would also be the hand he used to carry his Zanpakuto. Figuring the Arrancar would Sonido and attack the Seraphim's left hand side as a way to immobilize and keep him from using his sword, Vulcan simultaenously used Shunpo almost the exact same time as when Thor's own sword had left his fingers. Reappearing five meters at the right side of his original position he anticipated the Arrancar's punch by creating some distance between the two of them. Using the momentum of Thor's extended arm and fist the Vizard would cast Bakudō 4 as he gathered yellow spirit energy into his right hand, since his left was still holding his Zanpakuto.

Sending out a rope that if successful would wrap around Thor's extended arm and restrict his movements. Vulcan was hardly a master in Bakudō but regardless he knew a quite of handy tricks.

The vizard would dodge the sword that was aimed at him, which wasn't surprising in the slightest. The man would then use flash-step to avoid the kick to the side of the leg while also avoiding the punch. Normally, this wouldn't have been the case and Vulcan wouldn't even have the time to flinch as every attack would impact on him. But, Thor was suppressing both his strength and speed to the max, trying to make it fair. But for how long would remain the question.

A yellow rope would wrap around the arrancar's extended arm, which would prompt the Arrancar to raise an eyebrow. "Do you really think a weak Bakudō like this could hinder me? Come now, Vulcan." Yanking his arm inwards towards him, hoping the vizard - who was holding the end of the rope - would also be yanked at him, Thor would aim punch to the man's face. Apparently, the vizard being able to dodge and evade the Arrancar's initial attacks, because he was holding back, had disillusioned the man to think that there was no great power disparity between them. Maybe it was time to burst that delusion.

Bursting into a Sonido, the arrancar would appear in front of Vulcan, aiming multiple hooks to the side of the man's face using his left hand, while also aiming a punch to the abdomen area using his right hand. Sonidoing again in an instant, Thor would appear behind the man, aiming a spartan kick to the mans back. If connected, the man would be propelled forwards, ending up with little more than a few broken bones.

What was different this time around was the fact that Thor was no longer holding his speed back - he was using it at the max. How Vulcan would react to it remained to be seen.

As expected his use of Bakudō 4 had close to no effect on the Arrancar. Vulcan could have seen the next turn of events coming, although in the midst of battle it is easy to miss something. Being yanked towards Thor's position the Vizard knew he had to act fast. Using his left hand he would launch a stream of fire at the face of his opponent, hoping to obstruct his vision. Simultaenously Vulcan had surrounded himself with an aura of fire, hoping to protect him from any incoming damage. Now he had ensured himself with an extra layer of protection he would ignite and cause the stream he released and threw at Thor earlier to explode, if it were to hit it would leave first degree burns.

Depending on how his plan, if he was even able to call it one, turned out he hoped to absorb most damage even though it would prove difficult considering the large power gap between the Arrancar and himself.

While the Vizard was being yanked towards the Arrancar, he would launch a stream of fire at him, most likely hoping that not only would Thor stop yanking Vulcan towards him, but also hoping that he could obstruct Thor's vision with the fire attack. While the man would not achieve the latter, he would, however, achieve the former.

Letting go of the rope, the Arrancar would immediately duck, avoiding the fire impacting on him. As the Arrancar proceeded with his hook to the mans face, he would instantly stop the attack on-the-spot noticing that the man was protected by some kind of fire-aura barrier. Scowling, Thor would abandon the rest of his attacks, knowing that he would only get burned if he continued with his close-range attacks.

Sonido'ing behind Vulcan in an instant, Thor would launch two ping-pong sized earth balls at the Vizard at a strength of a cero and speed of a bala. Following it by firing a cero at the Vizard, wherever he might be at this instance. Of course, as usual, the Arrancar would not stop there as he would pound his fists together, prompting two - five by five - boulders to launch at the Vizard, one from the left and another from the right, aiming to crush him. Thor would then instantly Sonido to the mans position, wherever he was, pivoting his hip to the right, aiming a full roundhouse kick to the mans ribs. The force of the kick would, without a doubt, put the man through a few buildings and destroy his rib cage, if connected.

Vulcan Seraphim

It seemed only part of Vulcan's plan worked as the Vizard noticed the moment when his opponent would duck and refrained from letting his punch go through, probably aware what would happen if his fist connected with the protective aura of the young Seraphim. The Arrancar, having let go of the rope, would then Sonido behind Vulcan and launch two earth projectiles each the size of a ping-pong ball, followed by yet another blast. Using Bakudō #81 the Vizard protected himself from the incoming attacks, all the while keeping an eye on Thor. He barely had escaped the first attack or the next offensive had already begun.

Noticing two boulders coming his way, one to the left and the other to his right Vulcan used Hadō #57 as he would levitate and throw the boulders around before they could crush him. Unfortunately for Vulcan, although making it in time to avoid being crushed, he wouldn't be able to keep up with the Arrancar's speed when he once more Sonido'd to the Vizard's position before aiming a kick at his ribs. Using his Zanpakuto combined with Bakudō #39 to attempt and block the attack he was still unable to tank the kick as he was send flying through a couple of buildings. Feeling and hearing the cracking of his ribs Vulcan could barely stand up.

Still holding his Zanpakuto, the Vizard would call out its name as he entered Shikai. "Blaze, Moeru Hanaken." Soon Vulcan's blade would separate into 1.000 flower petals all which would then fly away from the hilt. Surrounding himself with the petals both acting as defense as well as offense he would either launch the petals at Thor when he came into range, or simply wait and keep the Arrancar at a distance.

The vizard would use Danku to block the earth balls and the cero from impacting on him. While the earth boulders that was sent his way would be thrown away from him using Daichi Tenyo. However, before the man could throw the boulders away from his proximity, the arrancar would make the two boulders explode, causing sharp rock shards to burst in every direction, hoping to cut the man in the process.

The kick that Thor aimed at Vulcan's ribs would connect; which in turn would send him through a few sand dunes. It was a valiant effort to try and block the attack using the sword and Enkosen. But as somethings in life - to no avail. It was evident that man had cracked a part of his rib cage, considering how he was trying hard to stand up. Regardless, not backing down, the vizard would release his shikai as his blade would separate into thousands of flower petals. The petals, however, would not attack the arrancar for some reason - probably was waiting until he was in the proximity.

Waving his hand, the arrancar would speak loudly, "alright. let's stop it here." Sonidoing towards the vizard, Thor would grab Vulcan, putting his arm over his shoulder, he would slowly try to make him stand up. "You alright there, lad? Take it easy. Your ribs are busted." Pausing for a second, he continued, "sorry about that." The arrancar said, solemnly. It was't in him to beat a man who was already down and struggling; especially a man who he considered a friend. He wanted to see Vulcan's abilities, not to beat him to a pulp and put him in a bedridden state.

Barely able to keep on his feet Vulcan noticed a certain sense of hesitation coming from Thor. Was the Arrancar afraid of getting ripped to shreds by the thousand flower petals coming from the Vizard's Zanpakuto? No, that couldn't be it. Regardless of being in Shikai he knew his opponent probably wouldn't have all that much trouble countering and bypassing the attack considering the difference in speed and power. The gap between the two was simply too big and there was no shame in admitting that. Grimacing caused by the pain inflicted to his ribs the young Seraphim didn't know how much longer he'd be able to stand. To his surprise he noticed how Thor raised his hand, not in an attempt to attack but rather motioning to stop.

The Arrancar then Sonido'd towards the Vizard as he put his arm over his shoulder helping him stand up. "Thanks, you owe me a drink" he said with a smile which soon turned into a grimace when the pain started to settle in. "Well, it wasn't much but I hope you at least got some view on what my abilities are." Vulcan was aware it was hardly impressive but looking on the bright side it also meant he had room to improve.
