"All is settled then," Cubix would say. He didn't care for this alignment, it didn't' interest him however, the statue did. The woman definitely brought about a curious desire in Cubix that was like growing appetite while surrounded by food. Cubix almost couldn't help himself. Cubix reached for his own jade colored statuette and would grab it by the head. If nothing happened instantly from there, he'd lift it up from the head and slowly sway it in the air.
"You will not fight here," Cubix said, to Divus obviously, but Cubix's attention seemed completely focused on the statuette. He looked almost completely infatuated with the little thing as he tried to memorize the fine details of the instantly crafted object that was supposed to give him an army. Slowly, it would shift into a soft golden brown with earth green swirls at the sides and that ran up the middle in swirls and twists. It became bulky, growing fatter and a little taller, to create what looked like a rock monster. If it was truly representative of Cubix, it would have become a golem with a few leafy blades of grass poking out here and there. Really, Cubix didn't need a militia of subordinates, however it would be nice to have something to eat and destroy whenever he wished.
His thoughts were thrown awry when a twisted and bloodthirsty spiritual pressure was thrown about the room causing Cubix the desire to flip the room. How annoying. Who dared to go about throwing around their spiritual energy like this? It was nothing short of an indirect attack. The spiritual energy was vast, like Blades, though the density and nature was far different. Really, even comparing Blade's spiritual power to this was like comparing an adolescent to an adult.
When Senshu brought up the female Espada's security, Cubix almost smiled. It sounded like a lie and, well, Cubix liked praise. Perhaps, he did fear that the Espada, known as Colbolt, was in danger around them? That was as it should be. Being in the accompany of demons should never be a relaxing, comfortable thing. Fear, anxiety, caution, anguish and pain are the only things that should run through the minds of the other, lesser races. Then Blade ruins Cubix's moment of pride by supporting the female Espada. What was this? Was she his friend? He was going out of the way for what? Her reputation? How annoying. That was something a lowly human would attempt to do. Blade apparently hadn't looked in the mirror in a while and that ignorance, or was it naivety, just made Cubix want to smash his skull.
"You said that as if any of us trust you, fool," Cubix would have countered Blade's attempt at compassionate logic with one of the clearest truths. Someone in his position should know that well enough to not go telling others the opposite. He was in the very predicament that he was telling others to avoid and he made no effort to hop out of it.
With Jia gone, Blade and Divus dedicated to battle, that really left Cubix with the two Espada. Cubix decided to make his own side of things clear, still swishing the statuette, "I have no interest in this war or your endeavors, so don't expect my participating in anything other than what I wish to do and what I will directly benefit from, however, I will not stand in your way either. As long as whatever this is remains solid, Espada will not be barred from Hell nor will I meddle in their affairs. Consider that my act of goodwill," He would say, looking over towards Blade. He wanted an audience? What was he trying to do? Show off in front of others? Well, it didn't matter much, Cubix was going to watch anyway.
Really, the Espada had done their part. They didn't have to stay from here on if they didn't want too. Well, that was if they didn't have anything more to do or say from here on out. Then, finally, the guest of honor. The creature named Lilith. Cubix's eyes settled on her form. What was she going to do about all this?
