Walking along side the humans that could not see her, it seemed like an average evening. The sun was almost down and the air was cool. Strange clouds rolled over the sky. She continued her walk, not paying much attention to the change in nature, until a droplet of water fell onto her nose. Startled a bit she slightly jumped. soon another fell on her shoulder, a few on her hair. Before too long it was a full on rain. She stood still on the sidewalk staring up as the water fell down upon her.

The day seemed to fade quickly as black clouds rolled in and replaced the once blue sky. The streets would slowly begin to thin as the sky took on it's depressed state of heart. Riku would carelessly push his way down the street with a cigarette pressed firmly betweenhis lips. His eyes would hang low as he would move foward only taking the time to look up every so often as he released the smoke from his lungs. His hair would drape over his eyes slightly creating a small sheild from the now down pour of the clouds. Riku would still allow his back to against a wall as he took refudge from the rain under a store's outside umbrella. He would allow his gaze to dance from left to right as he would watch people run and scatter to do the same. As he watched his eyes would fall upon a young woman who seemed to be taken by nature as she did not run, move or anything. It would appear as if her eyes were fixed on the clouds.

She could feel eyes upon her. No humans could see her, so she feared the situation could be dangerous. Her frozen yellow eyes drifted over and could see a man with a cigarette in his mouth, watching her. She knew the energy he have off was that of a shinigami. Her head turned to face him. With her swift movement the bell on her neck jingled. She turned in the opposite direction and began to run away. She didn't want a fight, and knew arrancars were not permitted to appear in the human world.

Riku would be thrown off by the girl's reaction, he would allow the smoke from the cigarette to fill his lungs once more before grabbing a umbrella from the basket that stood outside the door and opening it up 'I will need to remember to return this soon' Riku would lecture himself. He would causally begin to follow, while allowing his rather fast pace of walking not to look so aggressive. It would take him long to spot the girl as he would call out to her in a sort of manner hoping he could get her attention. He would allow his voice to ring out once more before allowing his feet to give chase. He would allow the umbrella to unfold as it would drop down creating less resitance as he race after the girl.

She could see the shinigami was following her she she made a sharp left turn into a back ally. Her bell jingled loudly. She thought this would be an interesting way to play Kakurenbo (Hide and Seek), at least then her fear would settle a bit, taking it as a game.

She leaped over a few trash can and ran a bit faster. Her feet splashed in the puddles made by the on going rain. She ran into the more deserted part of town to find a good hiding place.

Riku would continue to give chase as he would watch as she would make a sharp left turn into an alley his eyes would stay fixed on the girl as he would follow the best he could. He would watch as the girl would leap over a few sets of trash cans.Dammit, she is good at running away from people. Riku would think to himself as he would allow his stride to widen. With a firm push off of his back foot he would leap towards the wall and use his front to kick off allowing himself to clear the trash cans too. He would continue to press forward as he would allow his foot steps to cut through the puddles of water. Riku would attempt to call out one last time before tossing the umbrella a side, "Hey wait up why are you running?"

She heard the man speak, but didn't reply. It was hard to get her to speak if you were friends with her, let alone someone chasing her. Her left foot pressed hard off the ground to go her full sonido speed. As she lifted off her bell chimed again.

She zoomed up into an old factory and hid behind the boilers. She wondered why the man didn't give up his chase. She figured she was in deep trouble. Slowly she started to count to ten in her head: oooone, twoooo, threeee, foooour,...

Riku would continue to chase as he would allow his foot steps to match hers. He would allow his body to lean forward as he would watch as the woman almost dissappear. If it hadn't been for what Riku like to call good eyes, he would have missed the opertunity to take catch all together as he would shunpo forward and grab at the woman's arm but to his surprise she would use a similar techique to evade his grasp. He slightly copy the woman's action and follow after the mistress that continued to evade his grasp. He would allow his body land several feet behind her as he would watch as she ran into a warehouse or factory. It was surprising to him all together why she would pick a closed area like so to escape. Now his curosity was really on edge as he would slowly walk into the factory allowing his glance to flow from left to right. He would scan the room once more before catching a small trail of water that lead towards the back. He would slowly squat down as he would ring as much water from his hair and clothes as possible before following the small trail that would most likely have been made by the wet maiden.

Hearing his foot steps, she knew she had been caught. She took a peek from the side of the boiler and saw him growing nearer. Her large yellow eyes stared out at him. Droplets of water fell onto the floor off her ram-like horns. She stayed silent. She didn't know what to expect from the approaching man. No, approaching shinigami. Her heart picked up speed from her fears.

Riku would slowly make his way closer to the woman as he would allow his speed to slow as he would draw closer to the girl. He would remove his still damp jacket from his body as he would toss it towards her making sure not get to close and provoke hositly actions. Riku voice would be very smoove and plesant as he would start off by saying, "You can use my jacket to dry off as much as possible, I would hate for you to catch a cold." He would slightly take a seat about 15 meters away as his Zanpakuto would be much easier to spot as the jacket made it possible to conceal it from plain slight. His haze green eyes would slide from the girl infront of him towards a window as the storm outside would seem to pick up. Now a random pressing thought was running through his head... what am i doing?... Why did I chase her here?... Was there a reason that I even cared to speak to this girl?... Riku would allow his head to drop as he would come to one final question in his mind. Now what?
