I quickly drop my stance to,compensate for the downward force of the slash. I,bring up my bokken to block the attack. When contact is made I grab tenjus wrist with my left hand and roll backwards placing my foot into his stomich and throwing him behind me. I use my momentum to carry myself over and stand quickly,turning to,face tenju on once again. the point,of the bokken facing tenju. I bring my,left hand to grab the hilt.

As Tenju felt the satisfying clash of wood on wood his left hand would let go of his bokken and start to reach for Tazuma's own weapon however the captain was faster and before Tenju could react his wrist had been captured. As Tazuma lowered further and rolled back his actions would be obvious and seeing this is perhaps what allowed Tenju to react before the predictable kick would come however he hardly had time to do so. As Tenju was pulled forwards he would jump up into the air letting his feet rise up and past his body until he was upside down in the air arm fully extended as he rose up and over the range of Tazuma's kick.

With an acrobatic mid air flip Tenju would land on his feet facing away from Tazuma and would instantly spring into a counter attack turning on his heel and using that momentum to support a horizontal slash aimed for Tazuma's right shoulder. This attack would not end his movements however, he already knew powerful blows would do no good so he would try to break Tazuma's defense with speed. Whether the blow landed or was blocked he would immediately retract his bokken before swiftly launching into two more slashes. Assuming Tazuma didn't grab him again or counter fast enough to stop him the second blow would come from the top straight down as if to cut Tazume in half down the middle. This too would not be a committed strike swiftly being retracted only to move fluidly into a third strike.

So far the pattern Tenju was setting had been from right to left, logically the next was likely to be a horizontal slash to the right aimed for Tazuma's left shoulder. Tenju was counting on this however moving his blade into position for the horizontal slash only for Tenju to suddenly drop his stance and slash downwards aiming for Tazuma's knee seeking to cripple his mobility.

Turning to see an incoming counter attack before I,coyld react fully.i bring up my sword in time to just block the first strike,i took a,half blow in the shoulder.i can see the next strike,coming from over head that I block with an over head block.i then cartwheel to the,right using,my,free left hand to,base barely avoiding a low attack.i land on my feet"that might have injured my leg seriously tenju." I prepare for his next attacks

Tenju missed his chance, he just wasn't fast enough to keep up with the taichou and land a solid hit, "If the knee cap is hit from the side it can heal easily enough, it's only when it is hit upwards straight into the thigh bone that the injury becomes serious with permanent effects. I warned you that I don't spar lightly although....maybe I should apologize. I've been around violent surroundings for too long, a fight that isn't to the death has become strange for me..." Tenju would let his stance break and he took a more relaxed pose with his wooden sword hanging down at one side,"Maybe soul society really isn't the right place for me anymore."

"no need to apolige my friend. To be honest I was going to do the same to you.we are not so different you and I.(i relax my stance) come how about,some tea or my famous sake?" I stand and await tenju's response.i am ready to block or counter just in case he decides to change.

Tenju would look up from his sulking a bit surprised and noticed that Tazuma was probably trying to change the subject of seireitei being wrong for him. That was probably for the best and so Tenju tried to put a fake smile on his face as he made his way over towards Tazuma moving his own bokken into his other hand held along the "blade" as if it were a sheathed sword to show he was done fighting, "Yes I think a drink would be best right now."

I chucke "well then we have more I common then just our love of the sword I see. Would you,like sake or tea my friend. Both are made by my own hands." I sit at a near by,table and offer tenju a chair"would you care to sit friend?"

"Oh um, tea thank you...I've never had alcohol before." He moved over to take his seat and stabbed his wooden sword into the ground leaving it to stand on it's own before sitting down resting one arm on the table, "So what do you do as captain of 10th squad, I'm curious if the positions duties have changed at all in the past 100 years."

"the tenth division is in,charge of all large scale plans,involving shinigami as captain of squad ten,i am I,charge,of putting said plans into motion by selecting the correct shinigami for the operation in question. I hope green tea is ok it is ask I have fresh at the moment." I,say while getting the tea from the near by serving area.i also grab a small bottle of sake.plum sake to be specific. I also grab two small black glasses with the handle and set them down in front,of where tenju and I are seated. I pour,tenju's tea first then I pour the plum sake into my cup. I place the tea pot and sake bottle on the table and sit. I,lift my glass in a toast"to the way of the sword." I say,while holding my glass up

Tenju was staring off into the distance all the while listening and yet at the same time trapped in his own mind as he pondered the prospect of staying in soul society. He still wasn't sure and nothing was keeping him here at all aside from Tazuma's company.

The words spoken by the captain brought Tenju back to reality and he reached over grabbing the sake bottle by mistake having not looked at the table with anything more than the corner of his eye, "To the way of the sword." He said raising the bottle before taking a big swig of the sake. He would immediately begin coughing and set the bottle down, "Wow! That is some strong..." He blinked and wavered from side to side a bit "...tea" The man hiccuped and looked at the bottles as his face started to flush. It was obvious that he couldn't hold his liquor at all.
