Cubix stopped there and sighed, "Power you say?" He would ask, looking over his shoulder at the completely serious Blade. "Even if you came at me with all your ability, I don't see any reason to take you seriously. I have no interest in your small existence, old man," To be honest, Cubix had been a bit surprised by just how old Blade was. However, it wasn't any more of a surprise than to find that a gnat was slamming itself against the television or that it was windy outside on an overcast day.
Cubix compared to Blade. It was like comparing two different brands. Blade was older, more experienced, and one that seemed to carry a sense of duty, honor, and respect. Cubix was young, in a sense, with a mere 200 years of tangible life, inexperienced when it came to combat, and valued this world in an entirely different sense than duty, honor or respect. Cubix lived by the laws of nature, his own interest, and whatever the leader said was necessary. They were very different and hardly comparable. Even if Cubix killed many, it wasn't in a combat situation and, even if it were, he wouldn't care to boast it. How many you swing your sword at or into was such an unimportant detail to Cubix. It was as useful as knowing just how old Blade was.
"I don't care about your want or desire to fight me to prove a point. You don't interest me in the slightest. As for that Elder comment, you are still young yourself compared to this world. Until you exceed the age of this world, don't go flaunting your insignificant age," There was an even larger cocky smile on that face. Despite being uninterested, he looked like he was enjoying himself. Perhaps it was Blade was attempting to be intimidating or maybe it was simply because everything that came out of Blade's mouth was impossible to take seriously. Either way, Cubix stood there, turned around, his eyes glancing at the damage and the flames occasionally.
