Sumoki had never been here before, that much was apparent and written across his face. He was bewildered, baffled, befuddled, pick a fucking synonym and it'd fit his current mood pretty accurately. As he glared out at the arena around him he was confronted almost immediately by a familiar face, Captain Amaya Nanashi. What the hell was she doing here?..
His situation was then made drastically worse as the rules immediately flashed across the screen in the arena. He and Amaya were going to need to fight to the death, and the survivor would move on to fight the winner of whatever confrontation these sadistic matchmakers had decided on. A small frown formed across Sumoki's face as he glared across the sand towards Amaya. "I'm sorry in advance for whatever happens." As he said this, he figured he could look towards his Zanpakuto Spirit for guidance. Maybe in this parallel universe of sorts it would decide to bless him with some kind of wisdom. He listened intently..
"Sumoki.." Upon hearing his name Sumoki's ears perked up, this was going to be it. The golden opportunity, it was finally going to say something worthwhile- "Only you can prevent wildfires.."
... "Fucking bear.."
