I had a question concerning site lore on Shinigami/Hollows/Arrancar, if I am correct manga/anime canon states that both are the souls of former humans correct? Shinigami being the souls of humans reincarnated enough that they became strong enough to become Shinigami and Hollows/Arrancar being souls that were never allowed into the Soul Society and became hollowfied because of it. My question is, could I start a character as a human and then choose what he/she becomes once his/her human form dies? If this makes me start at the lowest "tiers" of power I understand and I am fine with it, I would just prefer to actually undergo the training process and get a feel of it as opposed to starting off with a character that was already a member of one of the two representative factions.

Sure you can I believe there is a sector for Human characters and there have been people who have started as humans, then passed on and become either/or so it's your choice to make and I think it would be interesting to see how you would go about that

Tier is more about the quality, detail and so on that goes into your app, just because your a human, doesn't mean you can't get a high tier, it's more how you do it and how much effort you want to put into it so just do a good job on your app and aim for whatever tier you want ^^

I was looking over the banned powers and saw nothing along the lines of Analysis and Adaptation as a form of combat. Do you guys consider that a memory based power here? Or is that a theme that is acceptable to use for a character? Also, since I am wanting to start on the ground level as far as a character goes, starting with nothing and working my way up. Does this mean I can only learn and train three abilities?

I think he means more so to be able to analyse the technique and locate weak points and then he naturally adapts to use these weaknesses.

But initially my character will be a human, I intend to eventually have him become a Shinigami or Hollow/Arrancar. I have a general grasp of his theme but if it is a banned power I can adapt my character to fall within the rules of the site
