So Graven went protag mode and there was seemingly little anyone could possibly hope to do about that fact. It looked like they had gotten lucky, impaling him on a spike after knocking him away with the brutal brute force that Natasha possessed. That was the hope, that was the dream, but it was not to be. Graven's Reitsu exploded within moments, igniting the battlefield with a fury Accelerator had hardly if ever seen before. It pissed him off, what did he do to deserve that level of power?.. Why didn't Accel own that level of power.. Why was there always someone stronger... and why was he not killing the man with ease?.. These questions all weighed heavily on Accel, until his anger and vitriol for the entirety of the situation bubbled over in an instant. Accelerator started laughing maniacally, and tornado-like-wings began to protrude from Accelerator's back..

As the buzz of Sonido welcomed Graven to the battlefield, the sound of Accelerator's psychotic laughter would welcome anyone else within earshot. Blood rained from the sky as the triumphant Cero Espada made his way onto the battlefield, but there sat Accelerator. Unhinged and unwilling to be denied by this bastard, and so he wouldn't be. Accelerator used Rego-Kinesis by Selica, using some nearby debris to try and trap her in the rubble, at least for long enough that Accelerator could deal with this bastard. "Don't just stand there.. FIRE. KEHEHE." Accelerator dashed in towards Graven with a plasma ball in both hands, before clapping his hands together by using shockwave. The output of force would be equivalent to a Gran Rey Cero or better, and was almost sure to at minimum blow the bastard back. Provided Natasha had done what she was told, Accelerator was going to be able to redirect her blasts towards the man as well in order to pummel him. That was the hope, at least.

Her fist collided with Graven's chest and the metal surrounding his being would shatter upon impact. She could feel the metal crunching and splitting under her robotic piece of a limb. Green eyes would pierce Graven triumphantly as she would watch his face in that moment. A small smirk would appear across her lips as she felt the weight of his being on her hand and then, it was gone. He would fly through the air leaving her with that proud smirk and emerald eyes that shined like fire. So, the Cero Espada could take damage from a mere human's punch.

She could see him in the distance as he hung from the crater of a building that was seen through the hole of another. This was why Natasha wasn't allowed to play baseball; imagine what something small and much harder than a fleshy body could do. From his hanging being, Natasha could see blood on the metal sticking out from his now revealed chest. From what she had witnessed previously, that may not have been a good thing as she wasn't sure of what his manipulation entailed. However, she would begin to fear for the worst as he would rip himself from the man made building. Graven would come closer in a much more demented looking form prompting Accelerator to release a substantial amount of his own power. This battle wouldn't last much longer so they needed to make it count more than anything now.

Natasha would watch Accelerator closly since the other woman had been blown away earlier and hadn't resurfaced yet. Her green eyes noticing how close the boy was getting to Graven and feeling ever so anxious about the proximity; however, she trusted and would listen when he screamed for her to fire. She wouldn't hold back either. Her free hand would pull out a committee created pistol from the belt of her skirt as she would begin to fire six rounds while her other hand transformed into a canon. Once it was fully transforned and ready, Natasha fire a cero level blast along with six more bullets with it. As she begin her rain of fire power, another canon had dropped out of the sky behind her, however wouldn't be fired this roun. Instead, three more ceros would be released from the first canon she introduced. All of her blasts would be aimed at Accelerator, since he seemed to be blocking the path straight to Graven. She wondered what it was he had planned, however she was sure she could figure it out.

Nonetheless, she thought that if she could get in close enough, she may be able to pull out another weapon and smash Graven into the ground. It seemed that someone else had other plans though.

---

Three ceros. Three fucking ceros. Selica found herself substantially more angry than she had been, which was hard to accomplish. She was on the ground.. again. She was not happy. As she pulled herself off of the ground, forest green eyes would look up to see her impaled king. A twinge of fear could be felt in her chest as she struggled to her feet. Once she could stand, she would begin to see him changing and she would smile maliciously knowing it wasn't over. Her gaze would look between him and the building she watched him Sonido to. Her breathing was deep and she huffed between breaths. She was feeling the damage inside of her body as her ribs seemed to move and rattle, nonetheless she felt her regeneration doing its thing. Even as Graven blocked out the sun, it would work slowly leaving Selica to grumble through the pain. She didn't have time to stand around and wait. She was done playing.

Selica would sonido back to the top of the building seeing Natasha and Accelerator both attacking her king. She couldn't have it. She wouldn't have it. How shameful they both were. It was absurd. Natasha would take off towards Accelerator, but not before Selica would intercept her. Vines would burst from the building wrapping around her shoulders and slamming her backwards into the concrete rooftop. At this point, the roof had cratered and began to crack as plantes imapled the structure. The building was bound to he unstable now. Surely, it wouldn't last forever, but she didn't care.

"I will NOT be brushed aside again!" Selica would growl as more vines would erupt through the rooftop surrounding Accelerator whipping and slashing at his being. Of course, that would most likely be interrupted by his shields, but they had to give out eventually. Just as she would have to give in eventually.

Graven Fel

Graven Fel

Graven growled as the white-haired brat charged at him with hands charged with plasma. Before they could begin battling it out with fist and claw, a fight that the Arrancar was sure he'd win, the human slammed his palms together. Listening to his instincts, Graven launched backwards into a Sonido, but wasn't quite fast enough to escape the ensuing blast. As he was flung back, Graven's eyes widened and his fangs grit together as a barrage of cannon blasts impacted his body, and a hail of bullets bit into his blood-augmented Hierro before he could fully right himself.

The smoke would clear with a howl, and Graven would reappear in a buzz of Sonido. His left arm hung limply and was scorched along with a large portion of his left side, although it was worth noting that the burns were healing rapidly, and the arm was beginning to relocate itself and set the broken bones. A series of small bruises could be seen across his stomach, fading quickly, from where he was struck with the bullets. The look in his Hollow eyes was absolutely vicious, and the claws on his right arm were sparking, and the air was warped around them.

Slashing downwards, the youth would find the Espada's strike to be much, much harder and sharper than normal. The red lines across Graven's right arm were bulging slightly, showing themselves to be veins, and the energy that made up his claws seemed to be overloading as all of that power was transferred straight into those damnable shields. This, however, wasn't the end. Four chains made of blood began to join Selica's vines in stabbing and lashing out at the same boy's defenses, each striking as hard as a Cero, and Graven himself began an assault consisting of the claws on his right hand, his legs, and even his tail, which was just as hard as his claws.

Obviously, he had decided that playtime was over, and was beginning to take this seriously.

Name: Sanguine Reiatsu
Effect: Arguably, this ability places Graven among the most powerful Arrancar, perhaps even dominating in combat effectiveness. His reiatsu is…unique, in that it has the form and consistency of blood. When released, Graven is able to manipulate his own blood, along with the “blood” created by this effect. Solidifying, moulding, and shaping this blood is child’s play, along with enhancing attack or defensive power as he sees fit. Using this technique, Graven can reshape and control both his own reiatsu and any blood upon the battlefield to use against his opponent. He can control about 30 gallons at most, half of which is produced upon release of his reiatsu, gaining 5 gallons every post afterward until he hits maximum capacity. Being hit by the blood itself causes damage similar to an average Cero, allowing him to use this technique as both an effective weapon and a powerful defense.

Name: Unbound
Effect: Graven is able to power up much like an Arrancar would normally by using Resurreccion and Segunda Etapa, except there is no change beyond the wild showcasing of his massive spiritual energy. Unbound has two stages that Graven can access. Level 1 grants him power equivalent to his Resurreccion, an explosion of crimson reiatsu coming forth to reveal that his eyes and estigma have begun glowing, and he glows lightly himself. Level 2 heralds a far different change, red-trimmed black reiatsu surging outward before dissipating, showing that the red glow that previously surrounded his body had restrained itself to his blood stream - much like a Quincy's Blut in appearance - and his schlera have turned black in addition to his irises and tear-mark estigma burning red. He is able to hold any of these indefinitely and swap between them at will.

Name: Sangre Del Emperador (Blood of the Emperor)
Description: While in Unbound Level 2, Graven has an infinite supply of blood. He can never bleed out fully, his manipulation of the blood is unlimited, and he is coated in it, increasing his Hierro by 3x. His "claws" and "tail" are now as strong as a Shinigami's Toukai, able to defend against the strongest Shinigami technique without worry.

Name: Transcendent
Effect: Graven's reiatsu and reserves has become so high that he cannot seal it away, even with Unbound, and most can sense him even if they have trouble sensing. Passive x5 boost to Reiatsu and Reiryoku. As a result of this, however, he has become completely unable to sense the reiatsu of others, having to rely on his own enhanced senses.

Name: Wolf Hunt
Effect: By channeling the Ceros running through his blood into his claws and tail, Graven can overcharge them briefly, augmenting a single physical strike with a Gran Rey Cero to cause overwhelming damage. This technique has a three-post cooldown.

Name: Enhanced High-Speed Regeneration
Effect: Graven has discovered how to hasten his natural regeneration and the regeneration he previously gained in Segunda Etapa with his blood manipulation, shaving a significant period of time off of the healing process. This works one post faster than normal, meaning most injuries will be healed in less than a post, medium injuries will be healed in a post, and the most severe of injuries, such as limb loss, take two posts.

The girls seemed to be handling themselves even though that nuisance Selica was doing a number on Accelerators shields. There was no doubt in his mind that he couldn't keep them up much longer and so he was going to have to make this quick, or he was going to be in some serious danger. His initial volley of offense went pretty well, Graven was caught with a lot of damage right off the bat and smoke began to fill the air around them. For a minute, Accelerator thought there was a chance he had put the monstrous Arrancar down but it was simply not meant to be. Graven howled as he reappeared using Sonido, his left arm hung limp and was scorched along with most of his left side. He was healing rapidly, and the air around him distorted and crackled. His claws twitched with blood-lusted rage and Accel knew he had no way to deal with this without shields. He would just have to hope he could hold out..

Accelerators shields were being pressed by the Cero Espada now, they simply couldn't hold up under the pressure of the vines, the blood, and the claws. He was redirecting it away as quickly as he could but there were limits even Accel couldn't overcome. As his shields wore themselves down Accelerator knew he had one last chance. He consciously allowed for one claw to slip through his guard, gashing him across the chest. The pain was agonizing, Kokoro had never been hurt before and if it weren't for the heat of battle Accelerator would be beside himself, unsure as to what he should do about the situation. But the reason he had allowed the claw through was so that he could preserve one of his shields for his grand finale. He formed a gran Rey Cero in one hand and an Oscuras level plasma blast in the other, he smashed his hands together with shockwave and blew himself away. He redirected all the force outwards towards Graven, but doing so ate up what was left of Accelerator's shields and propelled him towards the gravel behind him. The pain was excruciating, but before Accelerator could truly begin to scream out in agony he began to fall unconscious, his fate was no longer in his own hands..

Natasha would feel the vines wrap around her shoulders dragging her to the rooftop in a hard thump. The breath would temporarily be knocked out of her as Selica decided she was through with Natasha. She wanted her dead. She wanted her gone, but she also wanted to hear her scream. She wanted to see how much more damage this woman could possibly take before she gave up. Sadly, it seemed that her arm could fix itself up perfectly fine, so she would aim for something more fleshy. A thorn would find its way impaling her through her stomach area leaving Natasha to grit her teeth and groan heavily.

Natasha didn't have time to worry about being tortured, she didn't have time to worry about pain, and she didn't have time to waste. Accelerator's shields were being attacked from all sides and he wouldn't be able to last much longer. What was she to do? Well, for starters, she still had her canons in play. As she would find herself ready to fire one off at Selica, she would realize Accelerator had something up his sleeve. What was he doing? Whatever it was, she was going to make it worse for the woman at least. As the blast went off, Natasha would fire off her three ceros again in Selica's direction. Then, she would be forced to take the blast from the ground, which was mostly high pressure, debris, and lots of wind. The vines would keep her pretty well placed on the rooftop, however the Espada didn't seem to take it so well.

Selica had been blown across the building by the blast and taken additional damage from the three cero's, however her giant wooden shield had saved her from a majority of the damage. Nonetheless, she was practically unconscious, broken, and bleeding at this point. She struggled to move, but couldn't do so effectively. It seemed that she was growing panicked as she couldn't even bring herself to escape the area. She couldn't find her king. Her vision was blurred and growing dark. What would happen to her?

Natasha on the other hand, had found herself released from the vines as Selica had grown disoriented. The woman bruised, cut up, imapled, and bleeding would force herself to her feet as she struggled to make her way to Accelerator quickly. Nonetheless, she would do so finding herself standing between him and the Espada, although not very sturdy. Her breathing was labored and her knees shook. Still, she wouldn't let anything else happen to Accel. He had done all that he could, he had done so great, and he had fought so hard. Where was Graven? Her canons still stood at the ready and she would so everything she could to blow him away if possible.

Graven Fel

Graven Fel

Graven felt the moment that the white-haired youth's shields let up, and his claws bit into the kid's chest. Bringing his arm back to continue the assault, the Arrancar's eyes widened as he seemed to build up two massive balls of energy in his palms, slamming them together as fast as he could. He didn't have enough time to bring up a shield of blood. He was too close to avoid the blast radius, even with his prodigious speed. He threw his already-damaged left arm in front of his face, forcing himself to rely on his blood-augmented Hierro to make his way through this.

It was enough, but barely.

After the dust and ashes cleared from the air, he could be seen at the end of two trenches, each carved by one of his feet in an attempt to prevent being blasted into the air. His left arm was gone, and the left side of his body was black and charred, the smoking, carbonized flesh even extending to his face. Spitting out a glob of blood, Graven idly noticed that it sizzled and boiled in the heat left over from the brat's attack, even as his flesh began to knit itself back together, still-burning flesh sloughing off to reveal fresh skin, looking more and more like a particularly vicious case of sunburn. Walking forward, he would kneel next to Selica's battered form, reaching out and running his clawed right hand through her hair gently. "It's okay, little rose. You did wonderfully. Now, rest. You've more than earned it."

Standing back up, his red eyes would turn lazily towards Natasha, his mind trying to find the best way to win this. Neither of them were truly in the condition to fight. She was barely standing, and his reserves were at around 30% after that blast, and he was still healing the damage caused by that damnable kid, meaning it would drop even lower. Damn, he needed a nap...Yawning, he would speak up loud enough for the Committee's valiant leader to hear. "I doubt either of us are actually in any condition to continue. You should give that brat a raise, as it's been a while since I've been pushed quite so hard. Regardless, I think I've made my point. Tit for tat, an eye for an eye and all that. This has definitely been fun, but I think that next time we should just get dinner or something. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think it's time for a nap..."

Bending down, Graven would deactivate his Unbound state and gently pick up Selica, shifting her ever so slightly onto his shoulder so as not to aggravate her wounds. Letting out a low whistle, a Garganta opened for him and he stepped through, tossing a cheeky grin back at his human counterpart.

Smartass.

Denver survey'd the carnage beneath him, having finally succeeded in accomplishing precisely what he had set out to do. He had opened the flood-gates from hell and out poured each and every Sinner who wanted a piece of humanities decaying carcass. Denver's smile was apparent as he looked out over the battlefield, Hollows, Sinners, and Humans alike all dying in equal measure. The screams and cries of agony were sensual and intoxicating for Denver and he couldn't help but want to get in on the fun. "And every soldier's face is burnt, it's a mask of withered flesh, allow their hands to turn to rifles now,and they'll kill everything and anything that they touch.. Yes!" Denver quickly appeared by Natasha's bruised and battered body, planting a blade into her back the moment he arrived. He grabbed her limp body and Blurred to the hilltop he had his view from.

Denver held her barely conscious body in place for a while as he watched his children do their work. The city was aflame, and the night had only just begun. Not a soul was to be left when the work there was done.. That was what he had agreed upon and so that was what was going to pass but for now.. The bigger issue to deal with was in his hands and he was very excited to finish the job he had started nearly a year ago.. "I regret.. Not killing you while I had the chance.." Denver smiled, patting the girl lightly on the cheeks twice before punching her to the ground as a blade protruded from his hand. He buried into the flesh of her cheek until it came out the other end leaving her marred and bleeding. Denver once again snatched her up by the hair and buried a blade into her spine, twisting it as deep as he could muster until the shrieking was such that his ears could never stop ringing. It was a pleasure he never wanted to forget but he knew better than to rush things, after-all the best things take time and so while Natasha was going to be dealt with she was going to be dealt with..slowly. Still it appeared that she was attempting to crawl away, crawling towards her home yet again, blood spewing from her mouth with every movement. In truth, Denver could've probably just left her to die but that wouldn't.. Quite.. be satisfying enough. "Maybe I will always haunt you, mark the somnolence with truth.. better hang your dead palace, than have a living home to lose." As he finished his statement the once renowned Committee HQ exploded in front of her very eyes.

All hope was lost, and as he saw the light fading from Natasha's eyes he knew he had accomplished what he set out to do. He wanted to end her now, as a message to the world. As video cameras rolled over head capturing the live destruction of organization the Human World had entrusted with their protection.. Denver pulled his gun out and aimed it at the back of the woman's head, ready to fire. Ready to end her miserable fucking existence, but something had shown it's face and it was something he was completely unfamiliar with.. It was a Vizard, and it was heading his way.. interesting.

It seemed that Selica's panick had settled as she had felt the hand of her king upon her head and the gentle touch that ran through her hair. Not long after, she was out and she didn't seem to be getting back up any time soon. Natasha was glad that they had at least incapacitated one of the two. They were vicious together. She was a nutcase and he was cold blooded. If she had to deal with one, she would much rather it be him. However, it didn't seem that he was much in the mood, nor the condition to continue fighting. Instead, he would pick up the plant woman that had fought beside him, which was surprising to Natasha. Why would he take the time to care for her? Perhaps, it was just because of her strength. No matter, they were leaving, although Natasha wanted them to die right there, she wasn't able to complete such a task in her state. So, they would disappear behind the closing garganta, as a set of pearly whites would show themselves in her direction. Monsters. They were all monsters.

She would stand still a moment longer as the atmosphere settled where the garganta had closed. Finally. Natasha would take a deep breath in before a sharp pain would be felt in her back. A cry would escape her mouth. Was it Graven? Did he decide to sneak attack her? Was that what the grin was about? No. No, it wasn't him. It couldn't be. He had too much pride. In a matter of moments, she would find herself staring off a hillside. A clear view of the city in front of them as smoke, debris, cries of agony, screams, and death could be seen as well as heard throughout the area. Her body pulsated with pain, her heart beat hard against her chest, yet her breathing was labored. She was so busy dealing with the hollows that she hadn't noticed the Sinners sneaking up on the city. They were finishing a war that they hadn't started. They were finishing a battle that should have never taken place. She couldn't do anything about it. She couldn't stop it. She couldn't save them. She was failing. The despair that filled her being she had only felt one other time. Then, he decided to speak. His voice sent shivers down her spine. His touch sent fear through every fiber of who she was.

He would land a punch straight to her stomach as she would cough and buckle under the weight of her suffering. She couldn't take much more. She could hardly stand and now she was forced to the dirt. What more could possibly go wrong? In mere seconds, a knife would find its way impaling her cheek, sliding through her mouth, and exiting out the other cheek. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to move. She didn't want to scream. She didn't want to rip her mouth open. Tears would roll down over the bloodied holes now in her face burning her wounds as her body trembled. At this point, she was stuck on her hands and knees. The only movement she could muster was the involuntary tremble of her flesh and bones under the murderous torture of Denver.

His hands grasped her hair and yanked her head up as she would let out a whimpered groan before screams of pain would be forced from her mouth. The pain of the blade twisting in her spine, the holes of her cheeks splitting the wider she opened her mouth, and the tears burning her wounds all causing her to be incapable of functioning properly. When the blade was released from her back, she would try to crawl away from him. She had to get out. She had to get to the Committee. Crimson liquid stained her back, her stomach, her cheeks and chin. It was slathered along her neck and chest with every motion she made that resembled crawling. She had to get away. She had to help them. He was a demon. The Committee needed her. He was going to kill her. Her people were dying.

His voice was agonizing enough. His voice echoed through her mind every day since that one day a year ago. His words rang through her nightmares. She was paranoid. She was terrified. She was mortified. Then, her worst fear. The Committee building was no more. Exploded into ash, dust, and rubble. Who was inside? Was everyone safe? That part of New York had been evacuated, right? Yeah, it had to have been. That's where she just was. What about Accel? He was in that area wasn't he? It was gone. It was all gone. She couldn't even save the building. Was she really worth it? Was she really the leader they needed? Tears streamed from her face as she struggled to move. She couldn't. She grunted, she cried, and she winced. Her vision was doubled, her senses were off balance, and her body was growing cold. Blood smothered the ground around her body. Was she going to die? She had been close to death so many times. Perhaps, this time she could be happy. Maybe, she would be able to meet him this time. Nothing would make her happier. Her body would cease movement as the hope she once held onto spilled out onto the ground, along with her blood.

The girls pulsating breath and beating heart was enough to bring Denver out of his skin, and the pleasure he felt from this was only compounded by her mental and physical agony. As his fist made direct contact with her stomach he felt her body convulse and buckle under the weight of her suffering, or perhaps it was the feeling of failure that weighed more heavily on her mind now. Nonetheless she convulsed, she convulsed and squirmed in her only possible act of defiance against death and no one else. As Denver's excited hands found their hold on her pretty head and hair, he could feel her body rag-dolling at his will. The power he felt over her was indescribable, it was intoxicating. As the blade was buried in her spine he watched her cheeks open themselves even wider as she screamed, and her tears acted as encouragement for Denver to continue on.

She was trying to crawl and get away, she was trying to escape his grasp and more importantly she was trying to escape the torment he was inflicting on her but she couldn't, she was never able to escape him. Was never going to be able to escape him.. As Denver watched her accept her fate, accept her failures as a leader he couldn't be happier. He had broken her physically, and now he had broken her mentally. Even her spirit by this point was a marred corpse, probably littered with the rest of the corpses in the surrounding streets. As he went to finish her however, an unfamiliar man stopped him, prompting Denver to scowl with relative contempt. "It's always nice to see someone else volunteer to die but I'm afraid me and the girl were having a private moment.. If you'll excuse us I'll be taking her with me.."

Ika came to the scene and what he felt was nothing like what he had felt before, when he was near this man he felt a sense of dread, a sense of doom and death that was frankly indescribable. For the first time in 1500 years Ika's blood ran cold with undeniable fear, it was only by a miracle that he was able to pull the mutilated woman free and cast her aside, long enough to launch a straight right towards Denver's jaw, sending him backwards with ease in one quick motion. It wasn't a fist however, Ika had used his claws and pushed them into Denver's face, he knew he hit when he saw the blood all over them and he saw the mans mangled face. The force alone was enough to concuss him and Ika scowled with irritation as he looked around. He couldn't stay here and fight this man, if he did the girl was going to die. He felt a few other faint presences around the area as well, but he knew he'd need to come back for them.

"A punch from the man with the silver tongue, golden throne and a heart of diamonds.. What on earth would you want with a useless item such as the one you're carrying there?.. She's dead anyway, and if not she'll certainly wish she was.. I only hope she lives long enough to see the televisions, panned in on her scared dying face kehehe.. Not funny? Maybe you needed to be there." Denver's face was twisted and contorted, and his jaw hung loosely, seemingly moving mechanically via strings since it had been left hanging after the claws had cut his face. One of his cheeks laid limply on it's side, revealing the inside of his mouth similar to the girl he had mutilated minutes prior. He knew it was a losing fight, and so begrudgingly, he relented. Stepping back and away using Ranzig as Ika was left wondering what exactly he had run into.

Ika turned to leave and found at least 30 bodies strung up behind him, bodies that had to have been strung up there after he had arrived. It was a chilling visual, but the fear he had felt prior seemed to be subsiding as Denver got further and further away. Ika opened a Gargantua, and quickly appeared in Bogota knowing that Natasha was going to need all the help she could get. Even then it looked unlikely that she would survive but.. well.. it was better than nothing. He smiled glibly at the nurse who could tell he was a bit shaken up before he proceeded to turn back towards the Gargantua. "I'll be back with others soon, just be sure she's taken care of."

Makishima
- Enter, angry assassin! -

Her initial bout of combat had ended swiftly, a foolish arrancar unprepared for the embodiment of death he had unleashed upon himself. The young assassin was walking a thin red path, where any misstep would leave the girl in a state she might not be able to return from. From this initial conflict the girl had carved a path through her enemies, falling to her blades and bullets before they could even tell what had happened. Each kill stirring her very soul with vengeance for her fallen comrades, and the citizens that had been caught up in the attack.

She came across the center of the devastation, finally pausing to see the horror before her. Bodies strung up like some sort of grotesque calling card of whoever it was that was responsible. It seemed like she was blindsided, which some remaining sinners had decided to take advantage of. Gleefully rushing the maid with the intent to continue their little killing spree.

Of course, this glee was replaced with what could only be despair as the 'leader' of this little group lunged forward with his blade, only to meet the cold crimson stare. Before he could even think to retreat the girl had stepped in to duck under his strike. There was a sharp pain in the back of his neck as he fell limp to the ground, his spine severed cleanly as he lay helpless, his regeneration enough to stop him from bleeding out, but unable to push the blade from his neck.

His comrades didn't fare much better as this veritable angel of death slaughtered their number. Blade and bullet piercing flesh to leave nothing but a pile of bodies in her wake. With the coast cleared, she came back to the ringleader of this whole party, still motionless where she had left him. She withdrew the blade, lifting her fallen foe by the throat to slam him back against the crumbling wall of a destroyed building. Before he could muster the strength to fight back, Rei had rammed the muzzle of her gun through his teeth before pulling the trigger, blasting what little thought he had left over the ruined structure behind him.

Only now would she notice the familiar form of her newest recruit. Discarding the ruined corpse of her last foe, she would find Accelerator buried in rubble. Quickly, she would throw him over her shoulder and decide this city was lost... they would have to regroup. Retreating, she sighed... they were going to have to get him a new suit.

- Rei exits with Accelerator! -
