Ika Mazi
Ika didn't really know why he was doing this. There was no practical reason to arrange a meeting with one of the only people powerful enough to tell him to fuck off and yet here he was, waiting at the door of the most powerful Quincy to ever live. The situation wasn't something that was lost on him, it was a uniquely foreign feeling to be in a position where he wasn't in complete control. He had to make some concessions, he wasn't unarmed and incapable of defending himself by any stretch but this wasn't a situation he could simply gun his way out of in a pinch and so he was going to have to handle this a bit more.. diplomatically than he had previously.

Ika's diplomacy skills weren't the best, he was pretty notorious for getting his way through less than socially acceptable means but it wasn't currently an option here. The human he had appointed to lead had failed. The project to assemble the Humans had been a failure, and so now Ika was going to be forced to spill the beans to the only person who might be able to maintain some balance while Ika sorted things out. Fucking Viktor, the Vaticans number one douchebag would be here any minute to speak with Ika.

It couldn't be helped, and for now all Ika could do was wait on the bench outside. Just wait for the fucking papist to make an appearance..

Ika's appearance in the Gilded City had caused quite a stir, the High Inquisitor had clearly ruffled some feathers by allowing such a powerful being into their last stronghold. He had been escorted in with a small contingent, who were mostly there to keep the peace and guide the vizard through the Webway. This was no ordinary shinigami that was walking among them, but one who had been corrupted with hollow energy. Something the Quincy would find repulsive by nature, as he stood as an existential threat to their very souls... There was an eerie silence around Viktor's office as those stationed on the same floor were too busy watching what might happen, ready to jump to action if need be.

Finally, the silence was broken when a younger quincy opened the door and called Ika through, closing it behind him to leave the two leaders alone for their meeting. Viktor was seated in the opposite side of the room at his desk, the moment the door closed he waved a hand to an empty eat opposite him. "I was quite surprised to see you had requested a meeting with me. I don't think there is a shinigami in history who has ever willingly stepped foot in the Gilded city. So I can only imagine what you have to say is important"

The Quincy had his gaze squarely locked on the vizard as he moved through the room, analyzing his every move until he had approached properly. "So how can the Inquisition help you today, Ika Mazi?"

Ika seemed to make a stir wherever he decided to appear. This wasn't exactly new to him, and while he wasn't put off by the circumstances of him arriving in places such as this there was certainly a part of him that yearned for a time where he could do this and be less noticeable. Those days were long gone though, and for now he would have to play with the cards he had been dealt. Ika was led into the Gilded City by a contingent of Quincy whom seemed to have been picked for this task on the basis of their own power. There was an eerie quiet, Quincy gawked at Ika as though he were a three headed human and yet soon enough he was welcomed into the room.

Okay, welcomed is a strong word. He was asked to enter the room and so he did, hands plunged deep into his pockets as he awaited an opportunity to extend formalities to the Quincy in front of him. As the door closed behind him Ika waited for the Quincy to motion to a seat in front of him. He wasn't exactly in a position to say no, and with that in mind he took his seat in front of the Quincy, leaving his hands loosely at his side. His fingers began to glide up and down his legs and he closed his eyes for a moment, a small smirk marked his face in betrayal to the agony he was currently experiencing while sitting here. "I'm less than surprised the Shinigami have never asked nicely to set foot here. Usually if they want to stick their nose in somewhere they just do it and ask questions later. Sort of their whole MO by this point.. Anyway, your hunch is correct. I have some information to give you that I think may interest you, and frankly I have some intentions I intend to carry out that I thought you may take an interest in.."

Ika rolled his neck a bit, finally raising his hands only to hold it in place while he stretched it. "So, I suppose you're aware of the Sinner attacks in New York, but I doubt you have much information on the current state of the Gotei..I think it'd suit both our ends to have an information exchange of sorts. I'd like you to receive certain information because you having that information will allow me to pursue my goals in the Seireitei with less to worry about. For you, it'll help you protect the Human World. Hopefully this sounds like an offer you might take interest in.." Ika awaited a response with a serious look on his face before continuing. "Obviously I'll touch on my intentions as well, fair is fair."

"The Shinigami lack the means to travel to this city, their senkaimon are not attuned and even if they were, the Webway is a treacherous path for those uninitiated." It seemed like quite the defensive measure to have in place, the city itself was isolated which meant that this might have gotten a little more dangerous than Ika may have first suspected. If it was impossible to get in, how could he get out? However, Viktor did not seem to have any ill intentions as far as the Vizard could tell.. As much as he could glean from the Inquisitor's rather neutral expression anyway. "But if you come with information, you are more than welcome to share it." Information was the trade the Inquisition excelled at, and the more of it they could horde for their own ends the better. It took every scrap of knowledge to ensure their survival.

The Vizard went about recounting the attacks on New York, something that Viktor had been focusing his energies on as of late. He had only recently become aware of this new threat in the form of the Sinners, perhaps the Gotei had run ins with their ilk before. "It was unfortunate that the Shinigami were not available to fend off the Sinner incursion, though I will admit we were slow on the draw too. I believe one of my Inquisitors did fend off one of the invaders though. What more do you know of these creatures?"

Perhaps with this information he could better formulate his next move. However that was apparently only half of what Ika had in mind for this exchange. The Inquisition didn't keep to close an eye on the Shinigami realm, they were generally to be avoided unless necessary and only the most diligent of Inquisitors would dare try their hand at observation. Viktor would go silent for a moment, mulling over how to respond to such a request. "Very well, you mentioned an exchange. What information do you think I might have that would be worth your time?" It was a two pronged approach, first it was simply finding out what was required to gain further knowledge. Second, it would allow Viktor to gauge just how Ika viewed the Inquisition and perhaps the Quincy race as a whole. Ika would find that the High Inquisitor didn't waste time and tended to speak in ways to maximize gain from whatever conversation he might be having. He would need to be careful on just what he gave up.

The Quincy seemed pretty assured that the city couldn't be infiltrated through normal means and frankly, Ika didn't have much of a rebuttal to this. As far as he was aware the only way he got in was by stealing a Quincies lunch money and asking nicely, he himself had no direct way in and now that he had time to think about it that made a whole helluva lot of sense whether he wanted it to or not. The defenses of the city were hard to argue with, sentries patrolled every corner and to anyone unfamiliar with how well guarded places such as this were it would appear to be for the most part impenetrable. The more unfortunate fact of him being there now was pretty obvious. He had no way out unless you counted the way he got in..

That was a situation to rectify for later.. For now, the Quincy seemed fairly content with allowing Ika to stick around and say whatever he needed to say. It was a sentiment he was thankful for, even if he did feel like there were probably more than a few trained marksman with arrows aimed at his head.. Ika first moved his attention to the Sinner invasion. "As you might be aware, many Vizards are currently holding up in Hueco Mundo given the nature of their treatment in the Gotei. Some had even taken up alliance with the Espada as a means to survive, one Vizard that had forced them towards such a path was Kaze Lisola. He's fairly notorious for having broken through the gates of hell before, and as far as I can tell he managed to do so again."

Ika clicked his tongue momentarily before retrieving a cigarette from his pocket. "You mind?" Ika would await an answer and if the man said yes he would silently cast a small Hadou 4 in his hand to light the cigarette, but he would not bother to send the beam any higher than the tip of the cigarette itself. If the answer was no, he'd simply place the cigarette back into his pocket before continuing. "The Arrancar had been making use of some newfound military might well before Kaze had wandered into their hands, but once he was there they figured they had ample opportunity to scope out the World of the Living.. I had made contact with some of the Humans there prior, yet it appears that a few of them have been killed in the ensuing conflicts. The Arrancar have acquired quite a bit of military might in their spare time.."

Ika looked at the ceiling, letting what he was saying register for the Quincy before moving to face him once more. "Graven Fel, the Cero King of Hueco Mundo is compiling an army that could push this meager force you have here to their deaths in no time flat. I can sense your strongest soldier here and he has 4 just as strong as him. The humans were forming an organization to help protect the Human World and I had originally picked a leader to take over that group of ragtag powerful folks but it seems that she has also passed away in an an attack that seems.. Arrancar and Sinner related. An unfortunate casualty of times such as these.."

Ika was by this point a bit resigned to his fate and thus getting a bit more comfortable in his position. "I believe the Espada intend to strike an alliance with the Sinners, if they succeed in doing this you will not have the manpower to defeat them. Even to defeat the Espada you will need to try and join up with this Human force that is forming and try to give it some direction and leadership. There simply isn't a direction for them otherwise and they will be systematically ripped apart by whatever forces opt to give it a shot. Under normal circumstances I'd love to help but there is a problem.. I intend to take the Gotei back by force. Their Captain Commander is a cowardly dictator and I finally have the leverage I need to take it back for others like me. As you can imagine, a coup such as this has the chance to be ill received so it is with that in mind I have decided that I needed to make.. contingencies."

Ika leaned over the table, seemingly aware of his current position. "I am the only thing preventing an alliance between Vizards, Arrancar, and Sinners. The Gotei will not survive such an alliance and nor will you. The most responsible thing I can do is take the Gotei back and allow you the time you need to prepare for the onslaught coming your way. As a token of good-will I'm even offering to ride into hell and wipe the Sinners out with you. I know how to get to them, I was the Captain Commanders son after all.." A small smirk interrupted the otherwise serious tone of the conversation and prompted Ika to lean back in his seat. "As for what I'd like in exchange.. to be blunt I just want to know what you'll do with the information I've just given you and I'd like to see if you could help me locate my father. He was excommunicated by the Gotei several years ago and I haven't a clue where to find him these days. I'd also like to know you won't get involved when I go to take over the Gotei. It'll be enough irritation without you being there. I have saved some of the juicer bits of useful information for the end here, but for now.. what're your thoughts Viktor?.."

Provided he had been allowed to do so, Ika would be leaning back in his seat by now taking a long and seemingly pleasant drag off his freshly lit cigarette. His mind was for the first time in a while back at ease as he was able to act in the interest of someone other than himself for the first time in a while. His time as pseudo Cero King had been fun, but it was time for a new age.. He did need these loose ends wrapped up first though, and this was certainly one of them..

Viktor was rather content with the defenses of the city, they were separated in a way that made it difficult to even consider trying to invade. If one of these parties did manage to find a quincy and force them to open a portal to the webway, it was just as likely they would lead them into one of the treacherous passages in the dimension. Of course he couldn't count on all of his soldiers to be so willing to sacrifice themselves, most knew that this natural barrier was the one thing that stood between them and the chance of complete extinction as a race. For now though, that wasn't an issue.

Ika went on to describe what had been happening with the visored and their alliance with the Espada of Hueco Mundo. He wasn't going to deny that it was probably one of the only ways to avoid the persecution of their race, and not everyone had "Less aware than you might think, outside a few of our more specialized Inquisitors, most leave the Shinigami to their own devices." It was no secret the Quincy didn't want outright conflict with the Gotei, so it made sense they would avoid them rather than meddling. "Very well, make yourself at home" Viktor found it odd that a vizard would have a vice like that, though it obviously didn't have the usual chance of personal harm that it would to a human.

"So the Espada are planning on moving upon the human world?" It seemed ill advised for them, despite their numbers that would mean conflict on at least two fronts, and with the seemingly recent increase in humans with supernatural power there was all the chance such a force would be decimated before they could make any real headway. Though their dealings with the Espada had been constrained too, in the hopes of staving off retribution for destabilizing the soul cycle. It seemed like perhaps this was going to force their hand on the matter. The human world needed protection, and with the loss of this mysterious leader there was all the chance High Inquisitor may need to delay his own plans.

"Graven Fel? Interesting, my sources said he was inactive... Regardless, we do not fight pitched battles. Numbers do not determine the victor in war. If he has woken up, I may need to step in personally... But please, continue" The Quincy had been lacking the numbers for fighting direct wars for some time now, instead they relied on hit and run tactics. The Espada were a loose enough organization that killing their king could send them back a few centuries, particularly one such as Graven Fel. It wasn't Viktor's preferred strategy in this of course, but he was clearly willing to dispatch this hollow personally if he was given no other option.

"I think I can see what you are asking for here, and I tend to agree. Recently one of my own soldiers requested leave to strike out on his own. I couldn't deny his reasoning, and with this information I think it is more important now that the human world gets a true defense force against those that want to do it harm. I believed the Sinner's to be a greater threat than they could have been" He pondered for a moment, standing from his desk to walk over to the side wall, which seemed to be a personal library of sorts. Filled to the brim with tomes. "That is an admirable goal, tyranny has a knack of growing when left unchecked. I'd expect little more from a man going be 'Demise'" He seemed preoccupied with the books he was browsing through as he spoke, plucking a particularly ancient looking one out of its place before returning. "I don't know if you're serious about assisting us eradicate the Sinner threat, but I do have a plan regarding that" He placed the tome on the desk and turned it towards Ika. It was rather grotesque, bound in some unknown leather and carved with ancient runes of indecipherable origin. He flipped it open to a double page spread. "The cursed city of Babylon, home to the Sinners and, if I'm right, the key to ensuring they can never escape their prison again"

He let the vizard review this page, most of which was just gibberish to someone who hadn't been spending their time learning dead and possibly profane languages, but it did have a pretty picture of a city of sorts, with a central figure that looked to be a gate of sorts. "If you have contacts, I will begin work on unifying the remains of this organization you attempted to create. The Vatican's funding will give me all the resources I need to expand as a home base in the Human world. Once unified, I believe we will have the strength to properly defend the world while you deal with whatever threat may come" he considered the rest that Ika has said. "As for your father, I can set one of my Inquisitors to assist in finding him. Finally, I have no interest in combating the Gotei regardless of who is in charge. So you won't need to worry about that"

"Though I will have to warn you, I am going to expect the same from you and your allies. I do not abide by betrayal and there will be retribution" His eyes narrowed as he spoke the words. It was a direct threat from a man who seemed to be otherwise rather reasonable all things considered. Though it did seem odd, they had already agreed he didn't have the numbers to really be threatening anyone, so perhaps it was more on a personal level this retribution would be dealt. "So, if that's acceptable to you, what is left to discuss?"

Viktor sat and appeared to be stern, confident in his position since he was currently residing within a giant fuck off fortress Ika didn't have a particularly strong way out of. Ika had his ideas as to how to escape, but who the hell knew whether or not they could really come to fruition given his current circumstances?.. After giving it a bit of thought, he figured it was probably best to avoid the situation all together and hope for the best. That best being him getting out of here in one piece without having to kill anyone or commit some vague and unnecessary act of sabotage/espionage, and so far it appeared that was a reality he could find himself in.

Viktor pointed out that he was less aware of the situation in Hueco Mundo than Ika might've expected and to these ends Ika was pretty okay with having given the man the information he had. There was nothing that was going to incriminate him or come back on him, and he wasn't particularly enthralled with the idea of sticking around anyway. He had planned to retire soon, and setting up a counter-force to the army he had created was something he saw as being fairly important to the world he wanted to reside in. Once Viktor gave Ika the go ahead to smoke, Ika returned a small grin and took a heavy drag off his now freshly lit cigarette. "Good, tense situations such as this occasionally call for a.. relaxer you could say. Anyways, I'm afraid I have more problems to make note of.."

"The Espada are poised to attack pretty much whoever they want. After I kill Demise the Gotei will have to find themselves a new Captain Commander and I won't lie to you, I don't intend to be around for much beyond that. I want to assure a survivable future for my kind and then I want to go do my own thing for a while. I'm tired of being a foot-soldier in perpetual wars with no real end in sight. I'm very old, and I'm growing a bit tired of my current situation and I think I need a break from the whole.. well everything really." Ika leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes as he took another drag on his cigarette. "I can't really promise what the Gotei will look like, and I can't promise that the Espada won't capitalize on their turmoil to advance on you guys. Not that it seems to matter anyway, the Sinners attacked and they sent no one. That lack of response alone served to give the Espada confidence.."

Viktor's tone had grown dull and bored for a period of time, but hearing the name Graven Fel was enough to shake him back to attention in a time of tense tedium. "He was asleep, he recently opted to leave the grave for unspecified reasons, I wish I could give you more on the issue. Best speculation I can muster is that their garden variety numbers are pretty low, and Hollows don't reproduce so.." Ika paused for a moment, letting his words hang in the air as he exhaled. "I think you know what that means for the inhabitants of this world so I won't go in to grim detail on the matter. That is of course purely speculative, but his existence and reclaiming of the former Espada is not. He is dangerous, just as dangerous as he's ever been and I would confidently say there are only two to three people capable of handling him right now.."

Ika took another drag on his cigarette before smirking arrogantly in Viktor's direction. "Thankfully, two of the three are in this room right now so I'm not that concerned, but sending anyone else to deal with him could be.. dire to put it lightly. Anyway, I trust in your competence and believe you'll make the proper decisions in regards to dispatching him if the need presents itself." Ika leaned back now and returned to a more relaxed demeanor as he began to listen to the Quincy speak. As he continued on Ika's eyes began to follow the man to a shelf, a personal library filled with books Ika kind of wished he could read at some point. "Don't suppose that library over there is public access eh?.. Anyway yes, Demise is an asshole and needs to be removed, and as for the Sinner bit I'm about as serious as it gets. A world without having to worry about those cunts returning is a better world for me to live out my days in so.. count me in to whatever plan- what the hell is..

Ika's eyes grew wide as the tome was set on the desk in front of him, a plan to eradicate the Sinners was apparently inside but for now Ika was distracted by the age of the text in front of him and the fucking size of it. The only real bits Ika could get out of it was the pictures seeing as he hadn't spent much time learning dead irrelevant languages. He did however recognize the picture, and in his head the plan began to become a bit more clear than it was initially. The grotesque imagery in the book was enough for Ika to get the hint and after another small drag on his cigarette he'd lean back and look up at Viktor. "So.. the Catholics want to destroy Babylon.. You know, I never thought you'd have Persian sympathies but I'm not complaining man.. In all seriousness though.. If we could seal them off there the odds that they break out in the near to immediate future are pretty slim. You're probably onto something here and I'm plenty interested in helping out so count me in."

Ika took one last look at the two page spread in the book before closing it and sliding it back to Viktor. "Now to the rest of it.. I'm thankful that you think you can make the unity effort a success and if there's anything I can do to help I'm very open to suggestions. You helping me locate my father is also a big help and one I probably can't amply repay you for. There will be no betrayal and my people won't come for you but.. I guess now would be the time for me to reveal one of the.. juicier bits of information." Ika squirmed in his seat a bit, taking another drag off his cigarette before realizing that it had pretty much burned down to the end.. "While I don't think Demise is suitable for a leadership position I know that I'm not. I will not by choice be leading the Gotei, if I had to guess the organization will fall to Kokoro Nashi which is fine by me. As crazy as he can be he'd be their most stable leader in years.. I will probably take up residence primarily in the jungles of Bogota with the remaining Vizard who do not wish to go back to the Gotei."

Ika would allow this to register for a moment before continuing. "Obviously, we don't intend to start any trouble and you'll be unbothered by us. That much I can promise."

Ika might not realize it, but this air of confidence was Viktor's default state of being, he rarely found himself in a situation where any other emotion might help him. Taking a pragmatic look at things, there were very few individuals that could threaten him, and he had something of a superiority complex about him. So face to face with someone at his level, he still felt that he would pull out in front. Not that it was going to be an issue here, all things considered the two had gotten on quite well so far, so he felt there was no reason to worry.

For now his focus was at how he might be able to spin this new path forward for his race, he was sure some would have issues but if all went to plan they wouldn't have the confidence to voice those opinions. Those issues could be worked out later on, considering the time-frame they had it was no time to dawdle about pondering the least offensive way to go about this. Particularly with an unknown like Graven Fel on the loose, it didn't bode well for their operations to be facing a hollow with that much power without some way to protect the Human World.

"The Espada would be wise to continue mustering their forces while their enemies scramble. Like the Sinners, I'm sure a blow to their leadership would send them reeling too.." He had no real comment on the vizard's mention of his age and wishing to stay outside these wars. It was a good thing really, one less variable to take into consideration. It was interesting he seemingly just wanted to remove Demise and just leave the Gote to their own devices, normally a coup such as this would be aimed to wrest control from a dictator, not just a show of strength. This could be ignorance on his own part though, and in the long run had less impact than the looming threat of hollow invasion. Should Ika's plan work out as he hoped the Gotei would be years away from bothering with the Quincy, but perhaps that would help the hollows in their own endeavors. It was a lot to take in and plan for.

"Indeed, there are tales of him in the archives of course... Though how long he has been in stasis I can't say if it was before or after the fall of the Quincy. I'm sure the man who decided his pride was worth more than his people would have attempted to slay such a powerful hollow himself" Ika might be one of the few beings to still be around since that point in history in fact, perhaps even taking part on the slaughter of the ancient Quincy. That could be a line of questioning for later, as Viktor essentially had second-hand accounts for all of these events, the curse of youth in this case. "If it comes to it, I can ensure that he is taken out of the cycle permanently. Better that than a shinigami sending him back through it"

It seemed like it would counter his own goals to ensure the stability of the soul cycle, but Viktor had quickly decided such a threat was worth the risk. "Indeed, I will ensure my Inquisitors keep away from him until the time is right. I can't afford to lose them at this point" He looks to the library in concern to Ika's question "Unfortunately not, that would be my private collection. As a gesture of good will though, feel free to take a look, you might find something worth reading" It was mostly a library to sate his own curiosity, each volume he had collected personally. Though where he would find such treasures was a mystery to be sure. "Once I have this plan in motion I will send for you again. The City itself has a connection to the Human World, allowing those inside to bypass the guardians. It won't guarantee those creatures will not be able to escape once more, but it will keep most of them at bay" A simple plan, though the book did go into extra details that Viktor figured wouldn't add all that much to the conversation, all he really needed was firepower and he was certain Ika could provide that in droves.

"You said you had someone in mind previously, so I suppose that means there is a list of people I can expect might be useful to such an organization? Other than that, I should be able to handle the rest on my own. I'll have construction begin immediately in New York to act as a base of operations." His head was already full of plans for the future, and he had his own list forming for those he would invite alongside his own people. "Kokoro Nashi... I believe I have heard of him. I might need to get into contact once things have settled down." While a majority of the Gotei's dealings were little more than reports, someone who had been with the Organization for so long had quite a profile on them. He wasn't sure how keen he was at the idea of a 'mad scientist" taking over the Shinigami leadership, there were perhaps ways they too could help each other. Moving forward didn't just mean forming alliances but growing as a race, and there was one thing that stood between the Shinigami and Quincy from ever managing to cooperate. Perhaps this Kokoro might be able to assist him in another little side project he had been working on.

"And we can promise to leave you be unless we're given a reason to intervene..." He figured that it was only fair, he didn't forsee any major troubles with the visored who would take to their jungle, and anything less than mass slaughter of the human populations around the area was going to be a blip on their radar.

There was a bit of smugness to Viktor's nature, nothing egregious enough to make Ika recoil but it was definitely enough for Ika to see something of a reflection through the powerful Quincy in front of him. Perhaps a certain level of power lent itself towards some rather unsavory default personality traits, or perhaps the issue was something else entirely..

Nonetheless, Ika was satisfied with how the conversation had went for the most part. He had absolved himself of any potential sins and left the Human World in a position to where it was significantly more capable of defending itself than it was prior to him becoming involved in it's affairs. Viktor's confidence was also in a way serving to ease Ika's mind on the matter, for a moment making him forget what he might be up against going forward.. Nonetheless, the continuation of their conversation snapped him back to reality as he decided to open his ears and listen eagerly to the Quincies response.

Ika simply nodded along in response to the braggarts comments regarding Graven, the task was easier said than done to be sure but for now that wasn't exactly Ika's problem. Viktor was almost certainly still baffled by Ika's motives and the situation that had been laid out in front of him, and perhaps a bit relieved to hear Ika wouldn't be involved much. "I guess for clarity sake I should point out that while I'm not incredibly interested in this next wave of war, if something were to come to Earth that threatened it greatly I'd have no problem lending a hand if I was asked politely. Or if they decided to land in the wrong location.. To be honest, I'll probably be around if anything earth shattering occurs, no pun intended.."

A wry smirk was occupying Ika's face following that comment and for the first time in this particular conversation he had begun to work out a vision of the world he would soon inhabit.. As Viktor spoke, Ika leaned back in his chair and listened intently, somewhat curious as to what exactly the Quincies were capable of mustering as a reactive force. More importantly he heard about the archives, and all that hidden knowledge was of pretty strong interest to a historian such as Ika. The comments about removing Graven from the cycle were welcomed, friend or no friend he was a danger to the structure of things and powerful Hollows such as him needed to be dealt with as such. Ika nodded along, not having much to add on the topic at hand. "Taking him out is almost certainly our best option, and I'm thankful you'd let me examine the archives. If possible, I'd like to be able to make appointments to see them more often. Such historic texts interest me, just a hobby of mine."

Ika would await an answer then continue to listen. The man mentioned reconvening once his plan had been set in motion, seemingly ready and willing to seek Ika out once more to come and assist him with future deeds. Viktor mentioned his plan to exterminate the Sinners and if all he was saying was true, it was genius to say the very least. The tactical mind of Quincies was pretty well known by this point in time though, and historically Ika was always a bit envious of their ability to do a lot with very little. As the conversation progressed Viktor zipped it back towards the Humans and the available Advent Humans of the lands. Ika raised a finger, retrieving the list from his pocket.

"Ignore the blood-splatter, the original pick I made to lead the org met a rather unfortunate end as I've mentioned. Beyond that, I trust that the Vatican is more than capable of handling the construction of an organization and group such as this so I won't comment on much regarding that.."

Once that topic had advanced it came to the more difficult topic. Kokoro.. He was a wildcard in all of this and Ika wasn't exactly thrilled about him taking over the Gotei. "Between you and me, I think Kokoro is significantly scarier than Demise ever was in terms of combat prowess and reputation. Demise is a powerhouse, but Kokoro is a different beast entirely. His time as Captain Commander is something I intend to monitor myself, and if he's in charge they're probably going to rebound from the whole Demise execution just fine." Ika sighed, he was staring at the ceiling as he talked by this point, more than a bit annoyed with the current state of play. "Can't be helped though, Kokoro in charge is undoubtedly better for the world than Demise in charge so.. That's what's going to need to happen."

Finally, the conversation moved towards an amicable end as Ika and his friends were given a bit of.. Diplomatic immunity from the Quincy and Human occupants of Earth. "I appreciate your trust and good-will Vitkor.. If there's nothing else to discuss, I'd love to see a tour of the archives if it's all the same to you."

Viktor could hardly be blamed for the pride in his own abilities, reaching this level of power was not something that all people could hope to achieve in their lifetimes, even creatures considered immortal by any other means. And he had done this within his thus far limited time on the earth. Though he wasn't so foolish as to think he was invincible, the history of the Quincy race was too good a teacher to let any of them forget that they still teetered on the edge of extinction. It was partly the reason he was on board with this plan. Not only would reintroducing the Quincy at large promote the spread of their race due to contact to the outside world, but it provided a strength in numbers that they hadn't been able to count on for quite some time.

"If all goes to plan there shouldn't be much of a war. Those creatures will hardly be willing to fight when they see what happens to those who decide to attack a world I am protecting." It was foreboding to say the least, but it was clear the High Inquisitor was not a man who intended to accept a white peace. "The standing order is to slay any hollows that come to this world, and that isn't going to change when I form this new organization."

"It will certainly send the message I want. Hollows and Quincies both know the risk of fighting, and to see that their greatest can fall will break them" He didn't bother to mention that his own defeat could cause a similar situation for the Quincy. But with this plan they had more than the Quincy. Humanity as a whole was far more resilient than many gave it credit for, and he was willing to stake his life that even if he were to die, they would continue on using the foundations set for them. ]b]"We can make arrangements to visit the Archives once everything is in place. I see no harm in allowing that" [/b]The others might certainly think allowing the most powerful visored the chance to read through their libraries was a bad idea, but if that's what it took to get the man on-side than it was more than worth it.

He took the paper and began reading through it, a list of names to get in contact with. It was rather extensive really, he hadn't expected there would be quite this many who might be convinced, but he folded it neatly and pocketed it. "The Vatican has gold in its coffers for this, and I assume the world governments will find they have their own to spare when I show them the alternatives. This is very helpful" He nodded in approval as Ika went on to speak on Kokoro taking over Demise's old position. "We can only see what happens for now, Demise is unfit for leading considering the damage done to the human world. Hopefully Kokoro will take a more active role in it's defense once he has cleaned up the mess"

"You have earned my trust for now, and I will have to assume you intend on keeping the peace." He stood up and walked around his desk. "Very well, follow me" He strode out of the office, leaving Ika to follow in his own time while he had a quick word with the girl out the front, giving her the list. She immediately went about going on to arrange for contact as Viktor moved off towards the grand staircase. A few floors down, set behind an opaque glass wall was a rather massive room. "This is the archive, every scrap of knowledge we have gathered over the years"
