[OoC: Thank you all for joining! Prepare yourselves! Sorry for the slight absents my internet was acting up!]
Tomoko's attention quickly dispersed from the second presence as she retreated into her own mind. The words of the hollow had made a home in her mind This is only the beginning it had warned her but to what extent? The obvious was the hollow had been a scout. Tomoko, as she had always been raised, started to think about all the possibilities. What if the words meant so much more? It was only then did she realize she was being spoken too.
Her blue eyes had been in a daze probably the whole time that she had been spoken to. Almost feeling rude she adjusted her position and turned her attention to the onlooker she had sensed. With a raise of her eyebrows she turned her full attention to Minoru a soft smile placed her lips. "No need for apologies, it was I who's mind was not in the present," she giggled out before the smell of cherry blossoms tickled her nose. This time, she had truly been startled.
As the captain approached them Tomo's mind started to race. C-captain Tazuma! her mind stuttered her body slowly turning tense as he approached. What was the occasion that a captain had to join her? When he spoke out of respect Tomo bowed herself at her waste towards the captain and answered, "I am Tomoko Kokoru recently appointed fourth seat of the sixth division, Captain Tazuma." When she finished speaking she straightened herself keeping her face towards the captain but turning her eyes to the side, "but Captain-" she started before Minoru had spoken up asking dibs on the next hollow. A request she had no issue with complying with before she had managed to say yes, however, he had perched himself on top of the nearest tree in hopes to spot the next hollow first she was sure.
Returning her attention to the captain to finish her sentence she opened her mouth to continue, but at that time a third person had joined them. This one, however, was no shinigami. A human? Tomoko hadn't heard of many humans who were able to see them. Ichigo and his gang aside. With her mouth hanging open like an idiot she stopped to stare at him. Although she was not trying to be rude, Tomoko personally had only been to the human world a handful of times, and she had never been approached by any being other then hollows. How can this man see us? she asked herself curiously. With all thoughts of the hollow pushed aside she moved in front of Ash placing her hands on his face as he spoke. With those curious blue eyes she squinted at him. There was no threat to her squint, just curiosity.
"You can see us..." she stated the obvious her hands moving over his forehead. Minoru was the one to ask her next question. When he did, she withdrew her hands and quickly held them against her as though a little embarrassed she had become so enthralled with a human who could see them. With a shake of her head letting the two return to their conversation she turned her attention back to Tazuma. "Captain, before I forget, the Hollow it-" Once again she was cut off, this time not by a person, but a strong shift in riatsu.
Behind the four of them a tear in the sky appeared and a pressure began to push down hard on the town. From the rip two more hollow fell from the sky and presented itself before them. The first was about the size of the captain standing at about 5'11' with that face that reminded Tomo of a Tiki mask. The second didn't really have a form as it looked more like a massive blob with a face that looked like someone had taken a flametorch to a plastic container.
This seems a bit unfair she thought to herself, but as soon as the thought disappeared in her mind the blobbed hollow began to ooze out over the pavement, and from that ooze, morphed what Tomo put in her mind as three little minion hollows. Instead of hands, they had pointed spear-like arms and probably half the size of Tomo herself. Surely no match for any one of the towering men standing beside her, and soon the tables had turned.
"Shinigami, the world as you know it will soon be changed. We will rule sooner than you think!" the blob yelled as the ooze began to multiply making the blobs mass slightly bigger with each second.
Tomo placed her hand on her sword once more ready to draw when the taller hollow tilted it's head to the left making a painful snapping noise. It wasn't until Tomo was about to attack that it's head snapped back and rattled back and forth releasing a high pitched noise so ear shattering and mind boggling it had Tomo covering her ears and taking several steps back. The hollow didn't let up on shaking its head, and as though they were taking formation the three little minion hollows that the blob had made surrounded the taller one making the noise.
Formation? Tomo asked herself over the deafening sound the one hollow was producing Since when did hollow work together?! She turned to her two fellow shinigami and the third she would have to consider ally for now and opened her mouth to speak, but as she formed her words to speak there was no sound that left her mouth. The high pitched noise was canceling the vocals of their voice!
With anger, and a pounding headache, Tomo once more pointed her sword and immediately rushed towards the hollow making the noise in order to stop it. In her anger, she had taken her mind off the blob as she thought it would be easily taken care of by the other three. It was this mistake that progressed the next action. The blob, while Tomo's attention was turned, had made a hacking sound bringing up a pile of its own ooze and spit it at Tomo! Unable to hear any warning due to the noise the ooze hit her smack dab on the side of the face and promptly seeped into her ear.
Tomoko's body stopped immediately and the sword from her hand dropped to the ground. With her body slightly hunching over it twitched for several minutes before Tomo had turned towards her allies. The baby blue of her hues had turned gray and lifeless. The blob had snatched her body! After picking up her blade Tomo had placed herself in front of the blob she had tried to attack only seconds before raising her sword in its defense against a captain she had bowed to, a new friendly acquaintance, and a human she was baffled by.
