Joshua was surrounded by a soft silvery light that grew in intensity before slowly fading revieling his bankai. He was now covered in silver armor was form fitting and very flexible, therefore allowing him normal movement. Some most of it was made of over lapping scales while other parts where smooth with a design of a dragon circiling the moon. The dragons were made of obsidian while the moons where made of white moonstone.

Amaya Smirked seeing him shunpo infront as she bent backword adjusting the stabs. She twisted out of the way out of the way of him shunnpo before she shunpoed forward Right after him. She twisted the pole above her head slaming the pole down towards him while she twisted sending a hard kick towards johua to the left

Joshua barely even flinched as he deflected her pole with his wakazashi while blocking her kick with the bladed side of his katana. Unless he reacted quickly she would end up cutting her own leg

Amaya smirked moving her leg down slightly with the kick before sending her leg up flipping quickly as she continues to move quickly striking with her legs and her pole

Joshua reacted calmly to Amaya's barrage, blocking with his two swords and letting the occasional kick land only to be absorbed by his armor, yet all the while not show any abilities, as if he thought simple defence would be enough

"I've always had to be good at close combat. My Zanpaktou was always defensive in nature and never had any ranged attacks. Therefore I always had to use Zangutsu in a fight if I was going to have any chance of winning" Joshua said, planting his katana in the ground" If I wasn't at least half-way decent at the use of my sword or limbs I'd be a dead man by now and would've never gotten Leiutenant rank. So do you truely think that I would be bad?"
