Gah... Keoni mentally winced. The truth wouldn't cut it then? Should Keoni start exaggerating..? Yes... that would be the most logical choice. Go head? Show what kind of person Keoni was? He was a loyal person, someone who wouldn't bad mouth someone that transcended the abilities of a normal human... No! Keoni would never bad mouth his Cobalt! "Would you bad mouth your mom..? No, you're too nice. Way too grateful..." Keoni said quietly, forcing a sangfroid tone through layers of acid.

This guy wanted to make a joke of Cobalt! Keoni wouldn't let him... "Like your mom, my Cobalt was willing to give me a place to work... A place by his side, to make his life easier." Sure... this would have sounded perfectly sappy if that crazed look hadn't returned to those blue those. "I don't have it in me to bad mouth my Cobalt nor... could I put Lorelei in any harm..." He whimpered, as if acting like a pitiful younger teen would stab at the guy's heartstrings~ Hopefully, it would. "Please... You understand, right? Money... An apology... Anything to free Lorelei... except that." A bully... Such a bully... Why were children of today so sadistic?!

"True, I wouldn't bad mouth me mum. But, i'm not the one stuck in a ultimatum," He said, again, that quick business logic leaving his word at that.

It was time to put pressure on Keoni, "Then Mr. Cobalt is more important," He'd say and, just then the carpet would start to squeeze poor Lorelei. It would squeeze her only enough to make her grunt and, i f she didn't it would look very tight and suffocating.

"Sumtimes, you have to pick. You will be stuck with a decision that will make ya lose something you don't want, but in that moment you must decide what is the most important, mate. So then, is it Mr. Cobalt or is it Ms. Lorelei? The rock or the hard place?"

How careless... Back when Keoni was actually a child, things were... Actually things were pretty much the same. People were suspicious of each other or even despised someone simply because of the clan they were born into. However, Keoni's childhood had been simple. People had thought of him as a god! An age-defying god that could make people more beautiful... Modern people... really loved to question faith.

Lorelei let out a oink as she was squeezed. She couldn't believe... the brat was actually hurting her! He had appeared too weak, too faint of heart... Except here she was, being barely suffocated by a child with the inclination for sadistic humor.

Keoni winced. "Wait... You win..." He muttered. Was dying worth keeping his Cobalt's name pure..? Yes, death was more favorable; however, he couldn't risk Lorelei's life... Her life was not something to gamble on! Keoni... wanted to cut him... To slice through that flouting tongue... A punch... Even a slap would be nice. That would have to wait until afterwards... Once Lorelei was safely around his...

"Ha!" Keoni laughed. Why hadn't he thought of something so simple~? "Hahaha..." Tears formed at the corners of his eyes and he bent over, in laughter. "Lorelei, stop playing around~ I'll spend all of tomorrow with you! I'll even get my nails done with you~ So, stop, okay..?" A gentle smile appeared on Keoni's face. The stubborn pig in a blanket was transmuted, into a beautiful rose gold pocket watch. The pocket watch... Keoni had turned into a necklace with the brusque use of a matching, golden chain.

Now that Lorelei was safe... A devious smirk appeared on Keoni's youthful face. "You totally want me to cut you, right? Because you're really misusing that tongue of your's~" More laugter erupted from Keoni and he fell to the ground. To think... to actually think, this guy had won~ How silly... How completely silly of Keoni~!

"Ah...What?" The boy stood there bewildered. She had transformed the carpet into a watch? Was that her ability? He had assumed she wasn't just an ordinary pig in the beginning. After all, what kid would bring a regular ol' pig to a break in? Mr. Cobalt hired people with special talents and this boy, Keoni, wasn't an exception apparently.

"What did you just do?" He said, looking confused by Keoni's maniacal laughter. To tears even, when he had all that stress on his back only moments before. Did something in Keoni snap just then? Now he was even talking about cutting his tongue? Something was definitely different.

"Huh, well, why don't we see if you can cut my tongue," He said, just as a painting off the wall started to float. "Madness Play," He would say as two others would be torn off the wall, one of which was an expensive rarity, and they were sent flying at Keoni like shuriken. They were spinning fast, though not fast enough to cut into him. They would hurt a lot if they hit the boy.

As the necklace fell from the carpet, Keoni picked it up and placed it around his neck. "I replaced Lorelei for a watch~" A lie, but... telling that lie would probably get him further then saying Lorelei was the pocket watch. See? Keoni could! Keoni would. Once he dedicated himself to something, he would always see it through. Keoni wasn't above sneaking into that stunning mansion and slicing half of the guy's tongue off while he was sleeping~ Keoni's Cobalt would be avenged~

To the point, where he was rolling around in laughter, the pictures hit. "Ouch-!" He cried out between disabusing laughs. This was simple child's play. If Lorelei would do so, they could safely transport the guy away and give the coordinates to Cobalt Standing up, Keoni made his way back to the window. "It was fun~ You'll regret trying to make me say something so horrid~" Why should Keoni fear a few pictures that were chucked at him? No... The window seemed more favorable at the moment. If undisturbed, Keoni would slide out of the window and onto the ledge.

"So then you have the ability to switch the place of things or change them into something else?" Keoni didn't look like he was going to stay and make this into the fight that it was supposed to be.

"I guess, I've got no choice then," He would say, looking at his watch.

As Keoni was running out of the museum in the darkness of night, the street lights would be buzzing and, in the distance, the sirens of police cars rang through the quiet, calm night. How long until Keoni made it? Where was he headed exactly? It didn't look like the guy was giving chase, at least he wasn't on the streets following. Maybe the police sirens scared him off?

Swoosh. Swish.
Something was flying at Keoni's back and, as he was running, the practically invisible weapons would have ran into the back of his legs. It was glass, large enough pieces that would make running impossible. Up in the air, soaring on an enormous flying carpet was that boy.

"My names Rosario, by the way," He would say, about 20 feet in the air and off to the side. He had sent glass shards from the museum into Keoni? Wasn't that a little much? "I guess I'll leave it at this. I think it's a fair enough trade...For now," He would say, his magic carpet getting higher and higher.

If his own plan went right, Keoni would be unable to run anymore. Keoni would fall to the floor, glass painfully lodged into his leg and, likely, broken inside if he moved too much. The cops would arrest him and it would be a good enough waste of Keoni's time and would damage Cobalt's own business reputation. It was a fair enough blow, right?

Keoni looked down towards towards the ground... A painful jump or a tricky climb... He decided on the climb. Halfway down the building, those deafening sounds reverberated through his ears. He didn't! That's playing dirty... No... Keoni shouldn't assume the worst out of people. Maybe the police were just chasing after a car... Or so... he hoped

Once Keoni got safely to the ground, he went to reach for Lorelei. Now... was probably a time to use her transportation... Even if those police cars weren't for him, it was better to be safe then sorry. "Alright, Lore-" Slice. Bright blue eyes widened in pain as something sharp and jagged was impaled into his leg. That d..! Keoni looked over his shoulder, eye blazing. "You are really silly, you know that? Rosario~" Keoni chimed. Still standing... Keoni couldn't afford to get caight by the police. What would they do when they realized he "didn't exist". No social security number...

Finding a nice bush to hide in, Keoni removed Lorelei from around his neck. With a soft oink, Keoni was transported would be teleported to his apartment. A split second later, Lorelei would also arrive. Deciding to not use his hacked phone, Keoni picked up his house phone and called Cobalt~ If Cobalt answered, Keoni would give him every bit of information.

"Silly?" Rosario was impressed that Keoni was able to get up after that. The pain had to be excruciating and, despite being hit in the back of the knees, he was still able to even run? That was...Weird. It wasn't normal that that could happen. Rosario recalled accidentally smashing his finger. He smashed it so hard that it was difficult to move, at least for a while, and especially while the pain was shooting through that finger. Wasn't this the same, if not worse?

"I'll have to force you to stop moving then," Rosario said, waving his hand. Behind him the difficult to see glass shards all aimed at Keoni. They were going to fire at him and make sure that he would be immobile, though ensure that he wouldn't die or bleed out too much.

Just as Rosario was going to send them shooting to the brush that Keoni though he was safe behind, he felt something. Something unusual. "Madness Play-" He said, pointing and, the glass shards all flew like honed arrows for Keoni. That would have made Keoni unable to move...No sound.

Rosario looked down the street where he could see the sirens blaring. He quickly flew over to where Keoni had been...But he was gone?

"Huh?"

------------------------------

After the second ring Cobalt would have picked up. In the background there was another voice. A female voice.

"And then he! He! He did it! Can you believe it Coby!?" Keoni would recognize that voice. Unfortunately for Keoni, he called too late.

"You should come to my office." Cobalt would have cut anything Keoni would have said from there short. He wouldn't have heard any side of Keoni's side of the story before he hung up on Keoni.

Oh no... Not her voice.. That hideous woman was being a tattle tell! Well, two could play at that game... Who would seem worse? The woman making fun of a child or a child defending his boss~? "Cobalt, she's just ex-" Cobalt hanged up... Woozy from blood lost and steaming with rage, Keoni fell into a nearby chair... Certainly, showing up to Cobalt's office in such a condition would be trashy...

Keoni forced himself back up and wobbled to his bathroom... "What to do..? What to do..?" Cobalt had went to the trouble of inviting Keoni to his office, so Keoni had to show up... without dripping blood. Creating a pile of: bandages, glue, a towel, and disinfectant, Keoni got to work.

Hesitantly, he grabbed onto the shard of glass and yanked it out. Blood... So much blood... He would have to mop his bathroom later. Maybe... he's kidnap rude Rosario and force him to clean his bathroom. "And... the carpet... the wooden floor..." Oh well, all those stains were worth getting the information for Cobalt~! Spraying the cut with disinfectant, he took the lid off of the bottle of Elmer's glue and poured it over the cut... Keoni vaguely remembered that glue made glass rise to the surface... Oh well, Keoni could always dig out the smaller shards of glass later~

Quickly wrapping the bandages with wrap, Keoni scurried to his bedroom. What to wear? What would make Cobalt happy? The disregarded jeans in the bathroom wouldn't cut it~ A small giggle left Keoni's mouth. Rosario would pay and his mother would pay... Such wait until Keoni told Cobalt about the attempted wheedling to tarnish his name! Keoni found a nice pair of khaki shorts, long pants would just rub against the slice, and a cobalt-colored polo. Stepping into black dress shoes, Keoni left his room. Catching a glimpse at himself in the mirror, Keoni decided to wash his face. Sweat was so... gross... With a quick splash of water, Keoni left his apartment and scurried to the company. Keoni even spared money to take a taxi~

Once the young bount arrived, he wasted no time to get to Cobalt's office. What was a limp or scarlet liquid dripping through his bandages~? No... none of that mattered because Keoni was going to see Cobalt. He knocked on the door impatiently and a childish smile appeared on his face. "Cobalt, I'm here~" He chimed in heavily accented English.

The door was opened by a man in a tuxedo. He would stand aside so that Keoni could walk in. Cobalt was behind a desk in a grand office. The office was large with the typical glass window at his back, book shelves of important looking books, a television in the corner and smooth, clean carpet underfoot. It almost looked like a room out of an apartment.

Cobalt was resting his head in his hand, his elbow on the desk, with what looked like a mix of disappointment and being bored. He had his palm over his mouth and his eyes had been on the large woman in the chair before Keoni came in. She looked over towards Keoni, tears in her eyes and she smiled, like a deviant, before looking back to Cobalt with a sad, tearful whine.

"That's him! That's the very one!" She exclaimed, and Cobalt closed his eyes a moment before he sat straight up. Now wasn't this going to be a chore? If Keoni had anything to say in his own defense, now was the time.
