AR Bonuses
Each race, has some factor that increases its power be it releasing or their environment. These factors can increase your AR. It is important to note that increasing the AR does NOT increase your rank. This means you don't get the +1 AR tier bonus even if your release puts on on equal footing with someone in the next tier higher than your own. These boost also do not stack unless stated.
Rather I believe the AR boost SHOULD count when you reach a new tier bracket. I don't see much point in having that AR gap between tiers without that AR boost.
Shinigami:Shikai - The initial release. It unlocks and draws upon the power of your zanpakutou. AR +1
Bankai - The final release. It is the peak of a pure shinigami's power. AR +2
Visoreds:Donned Mask - Your hollow powers manifested and summoned. This stacks with shikai and bankai. AR + 1
Hollows:Spiritual Environment - The nature of Hollow powers allows them to gain power in environments rich in reishi such as Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. This stacks with other boosts. AR +1
Sated Hunger - A hollow that has recently devoured a soul of equal or greater strength than its own will gain a temporary boost that lasts 3 threads. For every additional soul of equal or greater strength devoured, the time limit resets to 5 threads but the boost does not get stronger. This boost stacks onto other boosts +1 AR
Arrancar:Racial Bonus - Arrancar get an innate boost due to hierro, but ONLY for defense. AR +1
Resurrección - The manifestation of your sealed hollow powers revived. AR +2
Segunda Etapa - A deeper manifestation of your sealed hollow powers. AR +3
Quincy:Human Body - Your body isn't as tough as a spiritual one. You actually lose advantage, but ONLY when it comes to your own defense. AR -1
Vollständig - A form that allows subjugation of the reishi around the user. AR +2
Spiritual Environment - The nature of Quincy powers allows them to gain power in environments rich in reishi such as Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. This stacks with other boosts. AR +1
Fullbringers:Human Body - Your body isn't as tough as a spiritual one. You actually lose advantage, but ONLY when it comes to your own defense. AR -1
Evoked Fullbring - This is when your powers are manifested through your fullbring medium. AR +1
Evolved Fullbring - This is the peak of your powers manifested. AR +2
Mastered Fullbring - Your powers have not only peaked, but you've fully mastered their use. AR +3
Bounto:Spiritual Environment - The nature of Quincy powers allows them to gain power in environments rich in reishi such as Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. This stacks with other boosts. AR +1
Doll Summoning - Your doll has been called forth to serve you. Your doll gains AR +1
Doll Fusion - You have combined with your doll and become a new life form with incredible powers. AR +2
Mod Souls:Vessel - As mod souls are made to boost the human physiology to make them strong enough to stand on equal grounds with a hollow. Inside a human body/gigai they get AR+1 physical attributes, that is both in the case of physical offense and defense.
Type - If the mod soul is a shinigami type, then it has the AR boosts for both shikai and bankai. That is AR+1 in shikai and AR+2 in bankai.
In light or re-evaluating this racial bonus information. I see a couple areas I myself was confused in. First of all, I recommend rewording the very first paragraph that states someone doesn't get an AR boost when crossing a new tier bracket. The sentence simply says tier, which is highly misleading.
Second- I believe we should alter the boost phrasing to a +1 for each subsequent release form. Right now, we have +2 & +3 which looks like it stacks for a +5. Instead, it should all be +1 and stack appropriately.
Shinigami: While their 3 release forms are included, I believe there needs to be some clarification and division here. Currently, all shinigami are prevented from becoming Vizard: however, what happens when one can become a Vizard? That gives an unfair advantage to shinigami who choose Vizard over not choosing Vizard. I believe that a shinigami who is not a vizard should be allowed an additional AR advantage, this would be as follows.
- Incantation Kido: Shinigami of a pure soul can channel their reiatsu into concentrated spells. These kido are passively boosted by +1AR only when used in incantations.
If we do this, if levels out the unfairness of Arrancar simply having the passive +1AR in defense because of their hierro while still possessing all 3 forms. Also, the Segunda Etapa is limited to tier 2-1, the shinigami's Vizard mask should also be limited to tier 2-1 because it is the equivelant of the Arrancar's Seguna Etapa. A shinigami with a Vizard power cannot & will not be able to benefit from the
Incanted Kido boost.
Hollows: There needs to be a clear limitation here. Arrancar are still the hollow classification & the AR boost of spiritual environments SHOULD still apply to arrancar. It's uncanon to omit that from arrancar. However, that gives arrancar a clear advantage. I recently did a thread under the impression of the AR boost in spiritual enviroments, looking back on it- I realize that site guide states the opposite of the intended effect. So if we want to limit this spiritual enviroment boost to JUSt hollow, it needs to be clear it is just for hollow, not Arrancar.
Fullbringers: As far as I know, the only Fulbring with an Advanced Fulbring form was my old Yoon In Gyi(Leader of Esper) The Evolved Fulbring is equivalent to the Segunda Etapa/Vizard mask and should be limited to tier 2-1.
Bounto: Doll Fusion should be a +3 instead of +2, Bounts get shorted on this end with their release forms(This is why we have no Bounts)
Mod Souls: I bleieve this ability should b limited to tier 2-1, any rank stronger than this tier would not recieve a benefit from a Mod Soul.
