For example, my Shinigami Yuki Akies focuses heavily on her Shikai powers of Light and Sound manipulation. Would this we counted as Reiryoku when she, say, shoots a wave of sound at someone. Or is that estimated in strength?

That would be Reiryoku unless you use.physical strikes a lot mixed with your attacks
