Keoni usually had no problems with running earns, but... Cobalt. Keoni would much rather be following after the man, catching his every movement and thought with his camera... However, all those pictures stole space on his memory card and he couldn't bring himself to mercilessly delete any pictures of Cobalt. So, Keoni had gotten dress in a nice pair of light wash skinny jeans, a few decorating the left knee; a violet and electric blue plaid shirt, unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up; and a black undershirt. On his feet was a comfortable pair of blue-and-black checkered vans.

"That store~" Lorelei insisted, glad her voice was masked by the loud ramblings of other people. She had noticed a shop filled with adorable pet clothes. The pet models wearing adorable outfits from the windows were taunting Lorelei, brainwashing her to shop there.

Keoni bit his lip, chewing on it out of habit. "Buuut, Lorelei-! I want to get this pictures in first; that way there'll be done by the time you're done shopping.." Keoni whined while staring up at Lorelei with puppy dog eyes. "Please~"

Lorelei shook her head. She had gone weeks without a new outfit! She would not allow her bount's latest obsession get in the way of her shopping. "No. I want new clothes now. You promised-!" She growled.

Fiery gazes meet, trying to get the other to back down. Eventually, Keoni looked away and sighed. "Fine... Fine... You win."

Keoni's company issue cellphone would ring and/or vibrate depending on the settings he had on it. Whenever he would look down to it he would see that he had a new text message. The message was from Cobalt.

There is someone I would like for you to meet. There won't be any danger and there's nothing to worry about, she's completely human. The address will come in a following message.

Just after he finished reading that text message another message would appear with an address that was only a mile and a half away from where Keoni was now. There wasn't any time on it, meaning that it probably wasn't immediate or absolutely necessary, but it was a request straight from Cobalt.

"Catnip and honey, teatime and all over town
(all over town, all over town)
houses of candy, build 'em up and then burn 'em down-"

The work phone was immediately ripped out of a jean pocket and brought to Keoni's face. Cobalt was trying to get ahold of him~ Cobalt. A smile warm enough to melt a snowman greedily graced Keoni's face and he felt compelled to hug the phone. "A text message..." He mumbled in disappointment. Wait! Cobalt hadn't texted because he didn't want to talk to Keoni. No... He had texted because he was busy; an important man like Cobalt must always be busy... Or... maybe he was practicing his old circus routine?! Yeah, that had to be it! There was no other explanation. "Of course!" Keoni texted back dreamily as he held the phone in front of his face. "For you~"

"Heck no. You promised me a shopping day, Keoni." A ticked off woman said from within his arms.

"But, Lorelei, Cobalt asked me to do something for him-!" Keoni protested, not wanting to let Cobalt down. "Next time, I promise." Keoni said with a sweet smile, gently placing a hand over his heart.

Lorelei looked away and let out a huff. "Outfits from this store first!" She ordered. Keoni let out a sigh; Lorelei always insisted on trying on the outfits she liked...

Thirty minutes later, Keoni walked out of the store with five bags and a teacup pig rested in a black purse she had insisted she needed. Oh well, if this made her happy... After all, Lorelei had helped save Cobalt... She deserved the three-hundred dollars worth of clothes and accessories~ Deciding waiting around for a bus would waste too much time, Keoni went off into a sprint. The address... Hopefully Keoni would reach the address soon and make Cobalt overjoyed~

Keoni would have sprinted up to an enormous estate. The three story mansion was giant and it had to be on more than a few acres of land. There was a large iron gate that blocked entry and a small little buzz-pad with a only 4 keys on it. It was all touch and looked like it had some slot for a key to go in. The gate stood 3 feet taller than Keoni and had a pair of onyx gargoyles at each corner of the the walls far ends ways to the side of Keoni and his doll.

The building looked completely lit up, as if it were Christmas. There were lights decorating the trees, the mansion, and the bushes that bordered the mansion at it's center all around. All the lights were crystal white and gave a warm, if not overly bright, glow to the place.

Keoni needed to get passed the gate and to that mansion, probably.

"Wow~" A feminine voice chimed. "Why don't we live in such a nice place?!" Lorelei complained. Her awe had actually turned into bitterness. Being alive for so long allowed one to collect quite a sum of money, but yet... they lived in a small house. The child could afford an elegant house; a house Lorelei deserved!

A warm glow, perfectly imitating the Christmas lights covering the gorgeousness house, adorned Keoni's face. "They already have their Christmas lights up..~" He dreamily whispered. With a little bit of snow, this mansion would be the epitome of 'Christmas Wonderland'. Just like Cobalt, to have Keoni meet someone drowning in money; surely Cobalt had the richest costumers~ His mind began trailing away and soon Keoni was picturing himself in a stunning living room with a stone fireplace where a vivacious fire was dancing. Of course, Cobalt would be there... lion-heartedly, fueling the fire. There wouldn't even be a need for firewood!

"Keoni-!" That snark voice snapped once she realized the child had disappeared into that mind of his. Really... why couldn't the child realize the pattern?! This man.. this man... wasn't even a circus performer anymore! Besides, back in the day, his act wasn't even that good... Lorelei huffed. "Why don't I have a mansion like this...?"

Keoni blinked. Didn't Lorelei understand how complicated the modern world was? Such things as birth certificates and social security numbers made it difficult for a teenage-looking guy living on his own. "It'd be suspicious. Anyway~! We should go look at Christmas lights this year, surely Cobalt-"

"You see that buzz thing?" Lorelei said to keep the boy on subject. Besides, she got sick of his Cobalt-rambles. "In movies, it let's people talk to the people instead the house. Press it."

With that crass smile on his face, Keoni went to play with the key pad; pressing any and every button he saw. "Hello? Hi..? Hey..?" He said with every push of a button.

"bshht...bshht.." There was static as Keoni pushed the button. When he would release his finger from the button the static would disappear.

The gates would open slowly. They creaked ominously with each slow second that they were opening. After they were completely opened the walkway lit up with bigger, cylindrical lights at the sides. Now that there was nothing in the way all they had was a straight path up to the mansion.

When they would finally get up there a butler in a fancy suit and buttoned vest would be waiting for them. Draped over his left hand would be a handkerchief and over that would be a small, silver tray that had a single wineglass.

Keoni blinked, eyelashes fluttering as the box made robotic sounds. What would they have done with such boxes when Keoni was an actual child..? Ninja... samurais... How would they have used robotic boxes against each other? Or would these boxes have caused a less bitter peace between clans and families..? Electricity would have been so useful, but... Keoni was sure he had been happy with his life! After all, he had wonderful parents, a wife, and a lifelong friend. And... what was electricity compared then fam-

"The gate opened! Why are you looking at the box like that? It's a freakin' box." Lorelei said impatiently. As soon as they were done with this, she could visit the Pet Salon and get his nails painted... What color this time? A sexy scarlet or even a stunning purple.

As Lorelei took her own hiatus to Lala Land, Keoni scurried through the gate and made his way through Wonderland. He would have loved to bask in the surroundings of this yard, but... Cobalt had given him a job; what was more important then that~? A small blush appeared on Keoni's face as he stared at the butler. Did people actually live like that..? Butlers, a beautiful yard, a stunning house... This was pretty overwhelming. Wine? That couldn't be for me, right? What's... the drinking age here again..? He pondered. Keoni had no problem with drinking responsibly. Keoni had been born in a time where alcohol was simply a beverage safer then water. "Hello. I'm Keoni. My boss sent me here." He greeted with a blaring smile.

"The Master assumed so," The butler would say, offering Keoni a glass then ushering a hand towards the inside of the home. The clean scent of cherry lavender flooded the doorway. It was a feminine scent, though one that was seductive and alluring to all scents. Keoni may be unfamiliar with the smell.

Inside there were candles lit here and there, all of them a raspberry red and all looked like they were only recently lit. There was mahogany red carpet that was without even a speck of white lint and had the crisp lines of being recently vacuumed. There was a coat rack at the door and a closet next to it and, if Keoni had a jacket he would have been asked if he wished to leave it behind. There wasn't any reason to wear it in here. It was almost uncomfortably warm in this house.

There were many paintings on the walls, of various different men and woman all wearing formal attire and serious expressions. There weren't any rooms in the entrance, only a pair of halls with one on the right and one on the left.

"Come on in, dear~" Said a sweet, young voice of a young woman. The voice was happy and, though it tried to sound calm, excited. She called from a room to Keoni's right. There was a short hall with some drawers and closets, but there was a single room opened and it there was some noise coming from that room like things were being moved around.

Deciding not to be rude, Keoni accepted the glass. "Thank you." He said sweetly. Even if he listened to those caveats and actually not drink the wine -if it was even wine- he didn't want to appear rude to Cobalt's costumer. Wait... Keoni shouldn't assume that the woman was a costumer..? When you assume things you make... Oh well, he'd just refrain from drinking the -he sniffed the liquid- wine so he could maintain a sangfroid composer during this meeting or what-not. Being ushered into the mansion, he quickly entered... The floral smell that permeated the house started its attack on Keoni's vulnerable nose. He was sure the scent would have been lovely, if it wasn't so overwhelming.

After Keoni's nose got used to the smell, he became awestruck by the decor of the house. The vibrant reds... Those blazing candles... With a smile that mirrored the small flames, Keoni glanced down at Lorelei, whom was freaking out. She totally wanted to explore this mansion, but... the poor little pig had to act like a cute little teacup pig. That red cupcake dress, red bow on his ear, and the red pet shows on her feet... could possibly make Keoni looked like someone obsessed with animals. Hearing a lovely, melodic voice... he headed in that direction. That voice could only belong to a wonderful woman~ "Coming~" Keoni answered as he followed the chime.

When Keoni smelled the drink it would smell like wine. It was a strong smell of alcohol and berry? As he headed over to the room, saying he was coming, the shuffling stopped.

"Coming?" The voice repeated, confused apparently. Who was coming? She didn't recognize the voice. Keoni walked into the room just as she was putting down a bottle of perfume.

She was beautiful...Well, for a 315lb woman anyway. She had long brown hair that was a golden brown and was curls that fell down her face and back. She wore an elegant red, violet, magenta and black dress that had flowers and waves dancing on them and was sleeveless. She had on a pair of broad, slim heels that looked uncomfortably tight for her bigger feet. She had a pair of light brown eyes that glistened behind heavy, yet complimenting, make-up. She had a lot of make-up on, but it was not over done and she didn't look like a clown. The woman had teeth whiter than marble, nails painted a pink and magenta tie-dye and she had pink diamond necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets.

The foyer that she was waiting in was red on black. The furniture was black with red and black pillows, a red and black stripped rug and there were elegant sculptures of onyx stone of birds all around the room and a few were black ceramic, either pottery or glass, and each and every piece of art in here was heavily detailed and looked expensive. The smell of the candles was strong in here, thanks to a few on a glossy black table. There was a briefcase next to the woman that stood out with it's torn, tattered, leather brown exterior.

"You are not my Coby...Where is Mr. Baltic?" She asked, grabbing a black, red, and light pink hand-knit cover and covered her front with it. She didn't want to be seen like this by some...Non-Cobalt. "What is the meaning of this? Who are you? How did you get in!" She was starting to panic, it could be seen in her eyes and heard in her voice. She was disappointed that she had been worked up so much, moving around pillows and shifting the table perfectly thinking that Cobalt would be the one to walk in. But, instead, here came Keoni as if to mock her enthusiasm. She was moving from surprise to insulted.

"You have less than 10 seconds to being talking!" That pretty voice shrieking in an attempt to be threatening. She reached for a cell phone as she dared Keoni to, well, dare her. She would have her security escort him out for his terrible games.
